FILE TYPE: OPERATIONAL ORIENTATION

ACCESS LEVEL: CADET / CLASS-C

SECTION I: ACI COMMAND STRUCTURE

AERIS COMBAT INSTITUTE (ACI)

Designation: Strategic Air-Superiority Corps

Role: Crisis-response, precision strikes, swarm disruption, high-value target elimination

Operational Principle: "Deploy only where the line will break without us."

1. ADA HIGH COMMAND

Aeris Supreme Commander

• Oversees all ADA branches; authorizes ACI deployment.

ACI Command Director

• Primary authority over all ACI Divisions and air-operations doctrine.

• Coordinates with GDF & NMI during joint operations.

JQC Liaison Officer

• Provides future threat forecasts, tactical predictions, swarm maps.

2. ACI OPERATIONAL DIVISIONS

–– ACI Flight Divisions (Primary Wings) ––

1. BLACKBIRD DIVISION

Status: Active — Strategic Ace Wing

• Houses elite pilots capable of independent anti-swarm suppression.

• Assigned experimental interceptors and high-velocity craft.

2. FALCON DIVISION

• Rapid-deployment interceptor wing.

• Backfills failing air corridors.

3. HARRIER DIVISION

• Close-air support for GDF units.

• Low-altitude combat & swarm fragmentation.

4. KESTREL DIVISION

• Recon, early-warning interception, long-range visual sweeps.

3. ACI COMMAND RANKS (NON-FLYING / RARELY FLY)

They command, coordinate, authorize, strategize.

Wing Commodore

• Commands multiple ACI divisions

• Oversees large-scale operations

• Rarely flies

Air Marshal

• Top strategic authority within ACI

• In charge of doctrine, deployment, resource allocation

• Does not fly

Aeris High Marshal

• The highest position in ACI

• Signs off on global ACI deployments

• Senior military advisor to ADA

• Never flies

PILOT STRATA (ACTIVE FLYING RANKS)

These are the ranks for pilots who fly combat missions.

Flight Captain — Ace Officer (Senior Specialist), Elite Combat Pilot

Commander — Senior Ace Officer, Flight Leader / Squadron XO

Lieutenant Commander — Senior Ace Officer, Squadron Leader (Unit Commander)

SECTION II: XYNE CLASSIFICATION INDEX

Designation: XN-Series

Analysis Level: Adaptive Metallic Bioforms

Origin: Unknown

Behavior: Swarm intelligence, rapid learning, coordinated strikes

PRIMARY CATEGORIES

1. XN-GROUND (Terra-Class)

Insect analog: cockroaches, ants, centipedes

Purpose: Overrun cities, burrow attacks, base erosion.

Examples:

• XN-G08 "Titan Roach" — cruiser-sized hull; armored carapace; mass-charge attacks.

• XN-G11 "Burrow Ant" — penetrates reinforced bunkers; collapses infrastructure.

• XN-G22 "Scythe Centipede" — rapid segmented blades; infantry suppression.

2. XN-AIR (Aeris-Class)

Insect analog: hornets, dragonflies, beetles

Purpose: Swarm clouds, interceptor hunting, slicing maneuvers.

Examples:

• XN-A03 "Razor Hornet" — primary air harrier; supersonic dive attacks.

• XN-A17 "Breaker Beetle" — armored wings; anti-jet collisions.

• XN-A29 "Sky Locust" — mass-swarm migratory patterns; territory cleansing.

3. XN-SEA (Abyss-Class)

Insect/arthropod analog: crabs, mantis shrimp, sea scorpions

Purpose: Fleet disruption, harbor sieges, anti-sub warfare.

Examples:

• XN-S05 "Cradle Crab" — the size of a destroyer; crushes hulls.

• XN-S14 "Abyss Scorpion" — deep-sea ambusher; cable-penetrating stinger.

• XN-S19 "Breaker Shrimp" — kinetic strike claws; splits reinforced plating.

BREACH CLASS — XN-Ω

(Planetary Threat Tier)

Beings exceeding 300 meters; rarely sighted; require multi-branch deployment.

Engaging alone is prohibited under ADA law.

CADET NOTICE // READ BEFORE DEPLOYMENT

Cadet, the information above represents only the surface of the Aeris War.

When you step into ACI grounds, you are expected to know every Xyne form, every unit designation, and every chain of command without hesitation. Failure to do so endangers your squadron.

Your instructors will not repeat this material.

Your enemy will not give you time to remember it.

Report to orientation at 0600 hours.

Bring your ID chip, flight tablet, and mental clearance waiver.

Welcome to the sky.

END OF ORIENTATION FILE

This document completes the baseline overview of ACI command structure and Xyne classification. Cadets are advised to review these sections before entering practical simulations. All further operational data is accessible only with elevated clearance and will be distributed as required.
