However, what Max didn't expect was that his attack wouldn't directly eliminate the Defenders.
Jessica Jones, also known as Knightress, a member of the Defenders team, dodged his attack by rising into the air.
The other two people were unharmed by Max's actions.
Daredevil's Matt Murdock stood behind Luke Cage, his trust in him clearly evident.
And Luke Cage didn't disappoint Matt Murdock; he directly parried Max's electric attack, only slightly trembling and recovering after taking two steps back, demonstrating just how amazing Luke Cage's defensive power is.
"Peh! That was a bit too powerful, you need to be careful, you shouldn't underestimate his attack!" Luke Cage let out a deep breath, warned Jessica Jones and Matt Murdock, and then charged at Max like a tank.
With a loud "bang!" from the other side, Jessica Jones had already launched her attack, lifting a car and throwing it at Max, but Max knocked the car to the ground by detonating it with electricity.
At that moment, Luke Cage had already reached Max and thrown a punch at him.
"Bang!" But what Luke Cage didn't expect was that his punch would be easily blocked by Max, followed by a heavy blow to his stomach.
A force no weaker than his own threw him straight back, and the electric current remaining in his abdomen prevented him from getting up.
"Bang!" was heard. Luckily, Matt Murdock arrived in time to help Luke Cage; a short stick distracted Max, preventing him from taking advantage and knocking Luke Cage to the ground.
Poor Max had mutated and gained extraordinary abilities, perhaps even beyond extraordinary, but he was treated like a nasty boss by the newly formed superhero team, the Defenders.
At the same moment, inside the Wing Chun Martial Arts School, the voice of the Silly Girl suddenly echoed: "Attention Avengers, a mutant has appeared on a street not far from Chinatown!"
The defenders are currently dealing with it, but their strength isn't enough to subdue it, and this is causing significant damage in the streets..."
As Silly Girl's voice faded, a projection appeared in front of everyone showing the scene where Max battles the Defenders.
Dumb Girl had already begun implementing the 'All-Seeing Eye' plan, aimed at faster discovery of extraordinary events for the Avengers to investigate, using satellites and street surveillance.
"The Defenders? What second-rate hero organization dares to live off our backs?" Tony Stark raised an eyebrow, a hint of disdain in his eyes.
"Just three people, yet they dare call themselves a superhero team?"
"I've heard Silly Girl mention them before; they're doing something similar to what we, the Swallowtail Trio, did initially..." Jack stood up and frowned at the screen Silly Girl was projecting.
"But somehow, when I look at this mutant, he looks a little familiar, doesn't he?"
"Does it look familiar?" Huang Wen looked up at the projector.
After Jack's reminder, Huang Wen suddenly felt that this mutant looked somewhat familiar.
Huang Wen used his subconscious perception to examine the situation around Chinatown.
"Hmm?" Huang Wen suddenly raised her eyebrows, a momentary look of surprise in her eyes, because when she sensed Max's presence, she felt a familiar aura and recognized Max's identity, "Max?"
"You don't need to go, I'll bring him back, he's Max." Huang Wen glanced at Belle beside her and said, "I'll be right back..."
As soon as his voice stopped, Huang Wen's silhouette transformed into points of light and vanished from his spot.
The people in the hot pot restaurant looked at each other, watched the scene projected on the screen, and for a moment couldn't decide what to say.
Ultimately, the mutant's appearance in the projection bore little resemblance to Max, and they had no idea what Max had been through.
"Why do these annoying types keep bothering me? I told you I'm in a hurry to go to Chinatown!" Max yelled angrily, fending off the persistent Jessica Jones, his aura visibly unstable.
"I wish that were the case! No matter how powerful you are, you can't escape us! This world isn't a place where you can do whatever you want just because you have power!" Luke Cage shouted, attacking Max again.
"Bang!" Suddenly, a figure appeared between Luke Cage and Max.
Luke Cage's figure instantly shot out, giving no chance for resistance.
"What? Who are you?" Jessica Jones shrieked, flying swiftly towards Luke Cage.
Matt Murdock's expression beneath his mask suddenly changed; his body trembled slightly because he had never heard such a strong, powerful heartbeat before, not even Luke Cage's!
At that moment, even hearing Huang Wen's heartbeat affected Matt Murdock's senses, potentially even causing damage to his eardrums!
"Teacher!" Max shouted, looking at Huang Wen who had suddenly appeared, then looked at Huang Wen with great regret and said, "I'm sorry, teacher, I caused you trouble!"
"It's not your fault." Huang Wen turned around, smiled, and nodded, reaching for Max's shoulder, intending to lead him back to the stew restaurant, but Max unconsciously slipped out of Huang Wen's grasp.
"Teacher, it feels like electricity is radiating from my body..." Max looked at Huang Wen hesitantly and quickly explained.
"No problem!" Huang Wen gave Max a reassuring look and placed her hand on his shoulder.
The powerful electric current inside Max instantly surged, attempting to surge towards Huang Wen's body, but the next moment these currents subsided, causing no harm to Huang Wen.
"I'll help you control your power, you don't need to worry too much." Huang Wen smiled and nodded to Max, then turned to look at Luke Cage and the others, her expression instantly turning cold.
"Are you referring to the Defenders series? You've chosen the wrong person this time."
He's just a child who wants to go home.
Being a superhero is great, but the next time you act without being able to distinguish right from wrong, this won't just be a small lesson!"
"Who exactly are you?!" Luke Cage gritted his teeth, stood up, and yelled at Huang Wen, "Does having great power mean you can do and say whatever you want?"
"Heh heh, I really don't know anything."
"If you have anything to say, find me in Chinatown..." Huang Wen laughed mockingly, and both his and Max's figures transformed into points of light, vanishing from the scene and heading back to the stew restaurant, leaving behind the surrounding chaos and the Defenders who had been thrown out again.
