"Ms. Carol, you're really adapting well to local customs. You came to visit and even brought gifts…" Tony Stark's eyes lit up as he looked at the container in Captain Marvel Carol's hand. Even from the material of the container, Tony Stark could immediately tell there must be something precious inside!
"Your perception is quite sharp. Is this the perception of a businessman for good deeds?" Captain Marvel's Carol said, giving Tony Stark a sarcastic look, "Huang Wen told me earlier that you designed a defense system to protect Earth's safety, but it couldn't be implemented due to a massive energy shortage, right?"
"Wait! You're saying we designed a defense system together?! That was just her suggestion; I researched and designed it step by step! She's a heartless capitalist, a bloodsucker!" Tony Stark yelled angrily upon hearing Captain Marvel Carol's words.
"Lower your voice, don't disturb Huang Wen!" Belle frowned slightly and waved her hand, telekinetically creating a barrier around Huang Wen, then glared at Tony Stark with displeasure and said.
"This is hilarious, he dares to call his boss, the world's biggest capitalist and most powerful bloodsucker, a capitalist, really hilarious!" Logan, who was standing nearby, couldn't help but respond when he heard Tony Stark's words.
"Okay, I don't care who researched and designed it. Anyway, you all need a lot of energy right now, don't you?" Captain Marvel nodded, glanced at Steve Rogers beside her, and said, "Back then, Huang Wen asked me for a solution, and nothing came to mind, but seeing the Cosmic Cube today, a solution popped into my head…"
"The Cosmic Cube!" Steve Rogers's gaze sharpened, and he stared in astonishment at the rough hand holding the Cosmic Cube in Captain Marvel Carol's hand, exclaiming, "How is this possible? Didn't the Cosmic Cube sink to the sea before me?"
"Well… I got this from Nick Fury. He was going to take it off Earth, but I stopped him." Captain Marvel's Carol hesitated for a moment and said, "Actually, the Cosmic Cube was recovered a very long time ago, long before you!"
"So, if someone had found me when they discovered the Cosmic Cube, maybe I wouldn't have had to wait until now to wake up…" Steve Rogers' gaze shifted slightly, and he involuntarily sighed, "After all, finding a spaceship as big as mine should be far less difficult than finding an object as small as the Cosmic Cube, right?"
"Don't overthink it. You know how famous you were back then and how big your influence was. If you had come out earlier, those people probably wouldn't have known how to handle you…" Logan patted Steve Rogers' shoulder to reassure him, "It's not like now, they could still give you a superhero leader position."
"I understand…" Steve Rogers sighed softly and added, "But if I could have left a little earlier, perhaps I could have seen Carter a little sooner…"
"The Cosmic Cube!" Tony Stark's eyes lit up. He was naturally aware of the Cosmic Cube's existence. After all, his father, Howard Stark, had done a lot of work on it, and he himself possessed a great deal of information and data on the subject.
Tony Stark knew that if there was an inexhaustible source of energy in this world, it would definitely be the Cosmic Cube!
"Yes, this is the Cosmic Cube, but I warn you all, no one except Huang Wen should touch the Cosmic Cube with their hands. Otherwise, I can't guarantee what will happen!" Captain Marvel Carol reminded everyone with a serious expression.
"Why can he touch her?" Tony Stark asked, not at all convinced.
"Because he's powerful!" Captain Marvel Carol glanced at Tony Stark and said,
"Once it overcomes the obstacle, although its power won't compare to the power within the Cosmic Cube, countering its power won't be a problem. But for all of you, I can't guarantee what will happen if you touch the Cosmic Cube!"
"So how do you open this then?" asked Tony Stark, examining the container in Captain Marvel Carol's hand.
"Well, I forgot to ask Nick Fury, but these kinds of things aren't very reliable. Once Huang Wen comes in, let him open it. It'll be an easy job for him anyway!" Captain Marvel's Carol, gently handing the container to Belle, said, "Alright, I must go. I've lingered on Earth for quite a while. Nick Fury will be going with me. From now on, extraordinary events on Earth will be handled by you. I hope you won't disappoint me…"
Captain Marvel Carol's voice faded, her figure transformed into a beam of light, and she left the Wing Chun Martial Arts Academy. Soon after, a spaceship departed Earth. At the same time, a dark SHIELD was officially formed under the new directorship of Phil Coulson. Black Widow, Hawkeye, and the remaining SHIELD members were tasked with operating in the shadows, using intelligence provided by Frank Punisher.
"Miss Belle, please give me this Cosmic Cube. It doesn't seem very safe with you!" Tony Stark looked at Belle, or rather, at the Cosmic Cube container in Belle's hand, and smiled fawningly.
"Why?" Belle frowned slightly and, after scrutinizing Tony Stark from head to toe, said, "He left this for Mrs. Carol Wen."
"You just heard, this defense system is one that Huang Wen and I designed together. I need to check all the time to make sure this Cosmic Cube is working, right?" Tony Stark glanced around and smiled, "Also, didn't Ms. Carol say this container isn't very sturdy? If you accidentally break it and something goes wrong and you can't see Huang Wen, that wouldn't be good, would it?"
"Hey, hey, hey!" Logan stepped forward, his voice slightly displeased, as he heard Tony Stark begin sweet-talking Belle.
"Then I'll give it to you." Belle suddenly smiled and handed the Cosmic Cube to Tony Stark. Fearing that Belle might change her mind, Tony Stark quickly donned his armor and flew away.
"He's deceiving you, you know..." Logan said, his mouth twitching.
"I know, but if I don't give it to him, he'll keep bothering us here, and that won't be good for Wen!" Belle smiled, shook her head, and said softly, "Besides, Mrs. Carol said only Wen can open it. He'll probably be wasting his time…"
