However, Spider-Man Peter Parker and Ghost Spider Gwen Stacy chose to envelop Hydra in their webs, resulting in almost no deaths among Hydra members; all deaths were inflicted by Huang Liang.
Therefore, Tony Stark was not optimistic that the Spider-Trio could single-handedly deal with one arm of Hydra, and he did not believe they had a chance of winning.

Meanwhile, Tony Stark led the Avengers to Stark Industries. Everyone had their own objectives: Steve Rogers and his team went to find the Winter Soldier, Tony Stark dealt with a government advisor, the Hulk duo dealt with Baron Strucker, the Three Tuxedos and John dealt with the Viper group, and the Spider-Trio found Dr. Zola, who had transformed into a supercomputer.
But then a problem arose. Besides Tony Stark, who could fly to his target, only Logan and Zhong Qiang possessed the ability to fly, and Zhong Qiang flew incredibly slowly. Trying to find Hydra's location was a complete pipe dream.
Ultimately, this was unlike the original scenario where SHIELD was behind them and Black Widow was piloting fighter jets. The current Avengers could only rely on their own powers.

But events unfolded exactly as Huang Wen had predicted: dealing with Hydra was no easy task. Tony Stark, Hulk, the Three Tuxedos, and the Spider-Trio—all four teams returned empty-handed. While they found traces of Hydra in the locations they explored, none of Hydra's personnel remained there.
"Damn it! They really did escape! They ran so fast!" Tony Stark gritted his teeth, his eyes blazing with hatred. Killing Alexander Pierce alone certainly hadn't appeased Tony Stark's anger, but he hadn't expected Hydra to be able to hide again in just half a day. This showed that the power of Hydra members shouldn't be underestimated!
"There's still no news from Steve's side. Have they also failed, or have they made a breakthrough?" Tony Stark took a deep breath and ordered Jarvis, "Go to where the Winter Soldier is hiding!"
