I met Leo!
Oh, heaven knows how hard I tried to keep my cool or speak to him. His face alone reminded me of the past, the past I dreaded so much.
The whole thing he did with Amelia played vividly in my mind as I watched him beg for forgiveness.
Was it that easy to forgive?
Or did he think I was the former Selene who would swiftly run into his arms after speaking in such an apologetic tone?
Let's not forget, a life was lost just to drift away from him and the only way we can ever be together is if that same life is alive. And newsflash, it's never going to happen!
I knew he was going to locate me the moment I announced myself to the whole nation but I didn't know it would be this fast. This made me wonder how much digging he had done when he found me.
Walking away from him felt peaceful and seemingly satisfactory. I had the urge to go back and spit in his face, but I wouldn't, that would only bring me down to his filthy level.
