Cloud cultivates slowly. He starts turning the surrounding qi into Five Elements Qi inside his body bit by bit.
The rich surrounding qi and the pill he consumed help this process significantly.
Cloud gathers qi and turning them faster because of that.
He can sense that he is gathering qi so much faster than when he tried to break through to Qi Gathering Realm.
Even though Cloud cannot gather qi as fast as people with Spiritual Roots, the pill and the surrounding rich qi makes his qi gathering so much faster compared to when he doesn't have any of those.
Slowly but certainly, the Five Elements Qi accumulates inside Cloud more and more.
After about 12 hours, the effect of the pill gradually dissipates. But Cloud didn't stop there.
He feels that he has already more than halfway until he reach breakthrough. Cloud continues cultivating with focus.
Another 12 hours passed and the surrounding qi around Cloud is starting to grew chaotic.
Six balls of qi are condensing in the void around him. The ball is slightly bigger than the one that appeared when he broke through to Qi Gathering Realm.
Cloud open his eyes at this point. He stand up to receive the oncoming attack.
Unlike before when he had to focus on widening his meridian, this time he doesn't need to.
That has already happened before so Cloud is free to deal with the ball of qi that is going to launch anytime soon.
Cloud enter his stance and move away from the ball of qi. The six balls soon moves and launch itself toward Cloud.
First, Cloud try to dodge all the balls. As the six balls coming toward him, he avoid it one by one.
But the balls seems to target Cloud specifically. It's like a homing missiles.
Even using the wall to take on the blow doesn't work. It just stop before hitting the wall and chase after Cloud again.
Since he cannot avoid it, Cloud then try hitting back.
He uses his fists to attack the oncoming ball one by one.
The first ball explode as Cloud hit it with his fist. But the force is so much stronger than Cloud expected. His hand become numb after hitting it.
But he continues as the others are also coming.
Cloud keep hitting it one by one. He uses his other hand and even his legs.
All of his limbs became numb without exception. But he manages to destroy all the balls.
When he destroy the last ball of condensed qi, his accumulated Five Elements Qi inside his meridian is starting to stabilize.
Now, he has properly became a stage two Qi Gathering Realm Cultivator.
Cloud then tighten his fist to try his new strength. He feels very powerful currently.
If he is not hurt, he would definitely try his strength further. Maybe even fight a spirit beast or two to do that.
But even though it has been a day, his injuries has not completely healed. It has become slightly better but it would need more time for a full recovery.
After that, Cloud prepares to go back first to heal and think about what to do of this cave.
The two boars in his ring would also gives him more points than he would need for the month.
Before he go though, he check the ground of the big cave area once more.
When he peek from the jutting rock wall, he find that the boars are still there.
He can only see 8 of it currently. The others are perhaps in a place where he cannot see or somewhere else.
After that, Cloud quickly goes back. He backtrack toward the small cave where he fell into.
This time, Cloud run instead of walking. He wants to hurry home to recover and think of a plan for this cave.
In less than half an hour, Cloud arrives at the small cave. The cave is empty so Cloud quickly jump into the hole where he previously fell from.
He climb the hole bit by bit.
The hole wasn't very long so he quickly arrive above ground.
Above is as barren as before. Only an expansive field of weeds are around.
Cloud cut a bunch of weed to cover the hole then he backtrack while covering the road he previously took to get here.
It is daytime when he arrives above ground so the sun is still up when Cloud arrives back at the sect.
The first thing he do when he arrives is exchange the spirit beasts for points.
Cloud then receive about 20 points which gives him about 10 extra points than the required monthly points.
He exchange those points for a medicine to help him recover.
