Chapter 44 - Raghav And Meera Argue

Seeing Raghav, Mayra's sister Natasha said, "Raghav, what have you done? Why did you marry another girl, leaving my sister? You have betrayed her?"

They did not expect that Raghav would marry someone else. This meant that their entire plan had failed.

But Natasha's words did not affect Raghav at all. He was lost in the grief of losing Mayra.

When Natasha realised that Raghav was not saying anything, her eyes fell on Myra, lying in his lap, who was now dead. She pretended and said, "First, you betrayed my sister, and now you have her in your lap. Leave him! You have no right to even touch him!"

After saying this, Natasha had just extended her hand to pull Myra from Raghav's lap when someone held her hand tightly.

Meera, who was till now sitting like a statue at her place, saw that a girl was fighting with the Prime Minister and trying to pull his fiancée from his lap. Meera, who was till now sitting like a statue at her place, saw that a girl was fighting with the Prime Minister and trying to pull his fiancée from his lap.

Seeing that someone was holding her hand, Natasha shouted, "How dare you hold my hand?"

Hearing Natasha's words, Meera replied to her, "Exactly like you all have poisoned the Prime Minister's fiancée."

Both Natasha and her parents were surprised to hear Meera's words. He could not understand that no one except him knew about the poison, so what was this girl saying.

Then Natasha's father said to Meera, "Hey girl, what nonsense are you talking about? Do you know what impact such baseless accusations can have on you? Do you have any proof of what you are saying?"

Hearing her, Raghav, who was till now lost in his senses, also said, "Meera, what are you saying? Think carefully before saying anything."

Then he looked at Mayra's father and said, "I apologise to you on behalf of Meera. She is saying anything. And I married her for Mayra's happiness. This was her last wish, and I had to fulfil it!"

Hearing Raghav's words, Meera told him, "Prime Minister, I am not saying anything just like that! I am telling the truth. These people have given slow poison to your fiancée, which has no cure. All these people want to kill you. That is why they first sent your fiancée close to you so that she could win your trust. But she fell in love with you, so she didn't want to kill you. But when these people found out about this, they started giving her slow poison So that after her death, he can get you married to her sister and the work that your fiancée could not do, her sister can do it."

Hearing Meera's words, Raghav said sadly, "Stop it, Meera. How long will you lie? Who are you blaming that he would kill Mayra? Don't you know how much Natasha loves Myra? So why would she do this? Why are you making up a false story?"

After listening to Raghav, Meera became silent. She said, "Prime Minister, I am not making up any false story. I am telling you the truth. Your fiancée herself met me two days ago, and she herself told me this..."

But before she could complete her words, Raghav said to her, "Just shut up, Meera! Do you think I'm a fool who will believe your stories? Does what you are saying have any truth to it or not?"

Hearing Raghav's question, Meera became silent. After all, it was true that she had no proof to prove her point. Seeing her go silent, Raghav said to her, "Why are you silent now? Why don't you have any answer! When you don't have any proof, then why are you saying anything?. Don't forget that I married you for Mayra's happiness. Otherwise, I would never have married you!"

Raghav's words pierced Meera's heart, and tears flowed from her eyes. She knew this, but she never thought that Raghav would tell this in front of everyone like this. She said to Raghav angrily, "So I was not dying to marry you. It was your fiancée whohypnotisedd me and brought me here. If she hadn't hypnotised me, I would never have married you even if you were the last boy in the world."

Saying this, she took off the veil on her head along with whatever jewellery she was wearing. She threw it all out there. She was wrong in telling the truth to the Prime Minister, but now that he is not going to trust her, why should she waste her time telling him the truth? She looked at Raghav and said angrily, " If you have to trust your fiancée's murderers, then you should trust them. Even if I don't have any proof to prove my point, I will still say that whatever I am saying is absolutely true. If you want to trust me, then do; if you don't, then don't. I am not going to die either, so I will keep giving you proofs to prove my point."

Saying this, she left from there. However, she left everyone standing there shocked, and if there was anyone who was most shocked, then it was Raghav himself. The girl who was walking around scared a few days ago has today given a straight answer and gone away.

Seeing Meera leaving, Natasha pretended to be angry and said, "First of all, I lost my sister, and on top of that, this unknown girl accused us of trying to kill our own sister."

Saying this, she started crying. Hearing her, Raghav came back to his senses. He said to Natasha, "Natasha, don't worry. I know you very well that you can't do anything like what Meera said?"

Saying this, he remembered Mayra, whose body was still lying there lifeless. He picked up Mayra in his arms and took her away from there.

Along with him, the other people who were waiting for him there earlier also followed him and left from there.

After their departure, only Natasha and her parents were left there. When they were sure that no one was there to listen to them, Natasha's mother said to Natasha, "Only we knew about poisoning Myra, then how did this girl come to know about it?"

Hearing her mother's question, Natasha said, "I don't know how that girl found out about this. Looks like this is Mayra's work so that she can stop me from marrying Raghav. Didn't you hear what that girl just said that if Myra had not hypnotised her, she would never have married Raghav?"

Hearing Natasha's words, her father said, "This Mayra has spoiled all our plans. First, we prepared her so that she can get close to Raghav and trap him in her love, and when the time comes, she can kill him. But she herself fell in love with him. When we tried to get her out of our way by poisoning her so that I could get Natasha married to Raghav instead of her. However, she got Raghav married to some other girl."
