Chapter 195 - Chapter 194: Death of Loki!

A high-pitched, tragic scream resounded across the battlefield.

Loki's arm, severed at the elbow, tumbled through the air. The Sphere of Agamotto was still clutched tightly in its hand as it fell rapidly, landing on the ground with a soft thud. A large amount of ice-blue, low-temperature blood spurted from the uneven stump, hissing as it hit the air. Even the scarlet chains controlled by Wong could hardly hold Loki, who was thrashing in agonizing, violent convulsions.

"Ah! I will make you pay with your lives!"

Loki, about to break free from the straining magical bonds, scanned his surroundings with blood-red eyes, like a ferocious, cornered beast.

At this moment, David, blue light flashing in his optical sensors, quickly stepped forward. One metal palm scooped up the severed hand, still clutching the Sphere of Agamotto. His other hand, having dropped the heavy logging gun, suddenly swept through the air. He clapped his metal hands together with devastating force, crushing the purple eyeball-like artifact between them.

In his recent days with Wong, David had not just been a protector. He had intentionally learned a few tips about magic. For example, how to use strong external force to destroy an artifact, rendering its spell completely ineffective.

A sharp, crisp sound, like a thousand glasses breaking at once, echoed over the battlefield. The Sphere of Agamotto, squeezed between two metal palms, shattered.

But a stream of violent, purple energy mist suddenly escaped from the fragments. In the blink of an eye, it erupted into a terrifying, concussive energy storm that spread rapidly outwards.

David, at the center, was thrown back, his metal body tumbling and skidding across the dirt. Countless Asgardian soldiers were thrown by the impact, scattering like dolls and falling to the ground in a messy, groaning tangle.

Thor, who had been summoning thunder to sweep the airships, was blasted out of the sky and had to swing Mjolnir to brace himself, resisting the blast with great difficulty as he hit the ground.

Nearby, Old John, muscles bulging and skin blood-red, was surrounded. He was waving his silver cane, smashing enemies, when the blast hit. He spat out a large mouthful of hot blood and was sent rolling, disappearing into a tangle of bodies.

Even Nolan, driving his Terminator armor and charging Loki with the C'tan Phase Sword, was suddenly overturned by the terrifying energy storm. The massive armor toppled backward with a groan of straining metal.

The blood-soaked soil was blasted into the air, revealing the gravel underneath. The purple energy storm swept across the battlefield in a deafening whoosh and impacted the dense forests in the distance.

Among the frightened native creatures, two black crows with sharp golden eyes spread their wings. They soared into the air, cawing once before flying toward the Asgard Palace without looking back.

Buzz... buzz...

The terrifying energy storm was gone in an instant. The power backpack and the refractor field, its Refractor Field temporarily lost, emitted low, insistent warning buzzes.

Nolan, dizzy inside his helmet, shook his head. He supported himself on one hand and slowly brought the tall, heavy Terminator armor back to its feet with a groan of servos.

At this moment, Loki, his skin now the color of a frost giant, had a hideous look on his face. He clutched his smoking stump. He staggered toward a downed, damaged airship. Using his one remaining arm to slam his hand onto the control rune, the broken vessel staggered into the air and quickly flew toward the Rainbow Bridge.

"Thor! Loki wants to run! Stop him!" Nolan, glancing down and realizing his precision bolter was gone, torn from his waist in the blast, turned his helmet. He ran toward another airship, C'tan Phase Sword in hand, and shouted at Thor.

Thor, just recovered from the blast, opened his blue eyes wide. He gritted his teeth, staring at Loki's retreating form. Mjolnir spun in his hand with a rising whirr.

At the same time, Nolan's thick metal fingers slammed randomly onto the glowing runes inside the second airship. With a sudden lurch, he accidentally activated it. He jumped in, and the ship wobbled into the air, chasing Loki.

Boom! Boom! The next moment, golden energy beams from the Eternal Spear sprayed backward from Loki's airship, screaming through the air. Nolan, controlling his stolen, lurching ship, and Thor, flying alongside, had to dodge repeatedly.

In that short gap, Loki's airship reached the sky above the Rainbow Bridge.

"Thor! Blast him down!" Nolan, standing inside the open-topped airship, shouted at Thor.

As Nolan's voice faded, Thor roared. Ignoring the golden energy beams bombarding him, which sparked and deflected off his armor, he flew like a human cannonball, wrapped in lightning. He crashed straight into Loki's airship.

The dilapidated airship instantly exploded into a massive fireball and tearing metal fragments.

Two figures, wrapped in the flames of the explosion, rolled and fell. They crashed heavily onto the deck of the Rainbow Bridge, where magnificent, shimmering energies gathered and flowed. The impact sent out a spray of crystalline light.

At the same time, Nolan, who had only fumbled his way into takeoff, had to use a rather traditional landing method. He controlled the floating airship to crash-land onto the Rainbow Bridge, where it scraped and skidded for a hundred meters before groaning to a stop.

Nolan, holding the C'tan Phase Sword tightly, drove the scarred Terminator armor. His heavy boots thudded on the crystalline bridge. He walked heavily toward Loki, who was crawling on the Rainbow Bridge.

Thor, his red cloak torn and smoking, barely supported his upper body with Mjolnir. He followed Loki like a lingering ghost, occasionally spitting blood onto the pristine surface. He stretched out a hand, trying to grab Loki's legs, but his injuries were too serious, and he missed.

"Loki... my brother! Surrender! The Allfather may forgive your sins!" Thor shouted, his voice hoarse, stretching out his palm again.

"Stupid Thor! Damn Thor! Why do you always fight me! From childhood to adulthood, you always get the greatest achievements! You are always the protagonist at the banquet! Even Sif only likes you!"

Loki, his face a hideous mask of pain and rage, crawled forward in a mad frenzy. Ice-blue blood flowed from his severed arm, leaving a striking, steaming blue mark on the Rainbow Bridge.

Knowing his brother was chasing him, he whispered, cold, blue blood gushing from the corner of his mouth, "Only mother cares about my existence, and father has never looked at me straight in the eye. Am I born to be a background board behind you?! I can't accept it! I can't accept it! Why can you be the future God King of Asgard?! Why can't I be... Since you won't give it to me! Then I'll take it!"

"I am the only ruler of Asgard! I am the great God King! God King Loki..."

At this moment, a dull, slow footstep sounded. Thud. Thud. A huge shadow enveloped Loki's slender, crawling body.

A huge, metal-shelled hand grabbed Loki's head with a scrape of metal on skin and suddenly lifted him into the air. Loki's legs kicked feebly.

"I've said it... I'm going to use your skull as a bowl, dear Loki."

The next second, accompanied by the violent, high-pitched whine of countless electro-fiber bundles and servo devices inside the Terminator armor, Nolan's five metal fingers penetrated Loki's crumbling skull.
