At the restaurant,chill songs are played as jade is staring in every corner of the restaurant and then she starts the conversation "bloom,I belong to this country but I've never been to this magical place." In a minute the table is full of mouth watering food that Jade's heart has desired ,she opens her mouth wide "wow ...all this ." Then finally bloom speaks "dig in ..don't hold back ,"
Jade without hesitating started enjoying the meal .bloom was staring at jade who seemed to enjoy the meal.
"Such a messy eater ,"said bloom wiping of food particles on Jade's lips .
"Oh!,you wanted to discuss business matters ,what is it about ?"jade was concerned.
"Nothing serious,just to remind you that your contract starts tomorrow. " bloom smiled while answering and continued "if you don't mind ,can I pick you up tomorrow in the morning."
"No problem,"jade respondend.
The next morning at Her looks company ,the studio looked like a palace than a work space.velvet seats lined the room ,mirrors with gold frames catching the glow of chandelier light. Every sketch,every stitch,every pinned fabric swatch whispered of perfection. It was the kind of place where fashion wasn't made -it was born. Everything seemed to catch Jade's eyes as she entered the room .
At the window was bloom standing with a white suit outfit,holding a cup of coffee in her hand gazing outside the window where birds were resting on a big flowered tree.
"Good morning ,boss bloom ," jade smiled at bloom who seemed to be in her own world .
"Can you just drop the boss,"bloom quickly answered.
The day was as hopefully and lively as jade had wished for the previous night.she was welcomed by her new manager in the studio who was friendly and talkative which made jade feel comfortable working with the company.
Everyday was worthy for jade to wake up and go to the studio .she got to meet celebrities that she never dreamed working with them since according to her they were in another level According to lifestyle,money and the class in which they belonged.
Also what made jade happy going to work is that bloom used to pick her up and drop her after work and she could also interact with her during the short breaks after the shoot. This made staffs in the company start to wonder why bloom ,the ceo ,never missed any episode at the studio shoot and early it was rare to meet her even in person.
According to jade,bloom was just a nice ,caring boss who was lively but serious sometimes ,thus,she never cared about the rumors .
One afternoon ,jade was still in the fit room checking on her new fabrics for the next shot .bloom walked in a smooth way that jade didn't notice her .
"Jade",bloom said softly breaking her trance, "I came to see how you're adjusting with work I know the first week can be tiring ."
Jade blinked "Oh,yeah I just....need to pay attention. " for a moment silence stretched between them .bloom was still stuck on the way jade spread all the fabrics on the floor and the way she bit her lip while seriously thinking this made the environment hot for bloom to handle .
"Would you...,"jade paused ,unusual hesitation creeping into her voice."would you mind helping Me review the new fabric samples ?,I want a fresh perspective."
Blooms eye's brightened "yes ,I'd love to. "
For a moment tense mood filled the room ,"Here I guess this is the best fabric for your winter line," bloom said handing over the fabric to jade.
"Yes ..this is the one I was looking ," jade said picking the fabric from bloom's hands. Jade rushed to the manager's office for the fabric approval .bloom on the other hand was lady in the fit room waiting patiently the way the groom waits for his bride to be walked down the aisle by her parents.
Bloom caught herself staring.
What on earth is happening to me ?
She'd interview hundreds of people in her career yet none made her pulse skip like this .
While jade was listening to her manager's instructions she pushed a loose strand of her hair behind her ear,her brows furrowing in concentration. Something about this small gestures made bloom's heart flutter dangerously .
Bloom straightened quickly hoping no one saw her .since she was know for being icy,controlled and impossible to read .but the moment her eyes drifted back to jade ,that cold ceo exterior cracked again.
"She ...is beautiful,innocent and I'm doomed ,"she said staring at jade.
When jade finally noticed her watching ,their eyes met ,just for a few seconds ,not enough for bloom to catch Jade's gaze.
It was enough.
Bloom's heart felt warm and unfamiliar bloom in her chest .
"So this is what caused love at first sight,"something she never believed could have ever happened to her.
"Shall we go home now ,"jade requested in lower soft tone .
"Yeah ,sure,"bloom respondend her eyes widening.
As jade stepped away ,bloom whispered underneath her breathe " why does she make my heart beat like this..,"
Bloom rushed to her office to pick up her staffs and then head back to the packing spot.
Jade on the other side wondered why the ceo seemed to be watching her everytime she Is working. And the fact that bloom couldn't move her eyes from her made her heart beat first than normal .thinking maybe her work was a mess it was not perfect ad the others or was there anything else apart from that .
She ignored the feeling and continued walking towards the working spot hoping she was not being delulu of something that can never be . That Is a relationship between the ceo and her employee ....no ,never ,how is that even possible.
In a few minutes of being in a imaginative world, bloom was back.
"Let's head out ,tomorrow we have alot of people coming for inspiration for your with your colleagues," bloom paused then continued "give it your best. "
