(A/N: Another Extra long chapter!)

After his business regarding his new Light powers had been completed and he had made contact with several high ranking people of the Church Alastor returned to Dalaran.

More than 3 years had passed since the Winter Veil festival in Lordaeron, after a year of his return Alastor was formally promoted to the rank of Archmage with the recommendation of multiple well known and powerful Archmages.

Officially making him the youngest Archmage in Azeroth's history surpassing even his master Antonidas record much to the old mage's pride.

But Alastor did not return home to Stormwind after attaining the Archmage rank, instead he remained in Dalaran and researched magic alongside other brilliant young mages if his generation mainly Rhonin and Jaina.

Due to this they had made multiple books and tomes, some being original creations and others became of existing spells and magical theories that had been revised to make them safer, more efficient and simplified for use.

Earning the 3 young mages great honour and prestige amongst the magical community for their contributions.

---------------------------------------------------

Also in the last 3 years Alastor had not stopped inventing and re-discovering technologies, doing quests beside his friends and practicing his swordsmanship.

If there was a significant change that happened it might have to do with--

*SWOOOSH*

A plasma arrow streaked across the air and hit a burly Ork right in the forehead killing it instantly.

"Careful you're getting a bit slow there" Sylvannas said teasingly as she lowed her plasma bow.

"Hush sister, Alastor seemed to be in deep thought" Vereesa-bless her heart-who was beside him scolded her elder sister.

The Windrunner sisters and Alastor were on a quest to investigate and potentially eliminate a Ork encampment between the borders of Alterac and Stromgarde.

Alleria who was behind them watched everything with a twitching eyebrow as Alastor found the sky very interesting today.

Yes, let's say that shortly after the Winter Veil festival in Lordaeron, When Alleria had spent her time back at Windrunner Estate and was about to return to Dalaran.

Alleria's sisters, Sylvannas and Vereesa had got the bright idea (Mostly Sylvannas) to travel south as well and accompany their elder sister in Dalaran.

Since Alleria had halted her travels to reside there not to mention since the family relationship was practically now fixed after a long over due talk between Alleria and Lireesa.

Lireesa and Verath not finding any fault in their (Sylvannas) reasoning agreed easily enough and not long after Sylvannas dragged Vereesa down south with her to Dalaran.

Alleria and Jaina were not particularly happy with addition of these two at Dalaran.

Alleria in particular knew that it was mostly due to her free-spirited sister Sylvannas curiosity that they were here but didn't it also start similarly for her?

She gained a interest in Alastor after fighting alongside him and followed after him to Dalaran and soon after her feelings for him developed into love.

And knowing the type of person Alastor was as well as his personality, Alleria and Jaina both knew that Alastor was like fine wine for most women, who just becomes more irresistible as time passes.

Alleria knew her sisters well and while Sylvannas would deny any attraction due to her pride for a time, she knew that Vereesa would develop a liking towards him quick especially since Alastor's personality meshed well with hers.

So knowing that there was a good chance of both Sylvannas and Vereesa also falling for him, she and Jaina had come to a silent decision to be more "proactive".

In short, Alastor over the last few years in Dalaran had found Alleria and Jaina being particularly intimate with him.

Jaina draping herself over him as he worked, Alleria pulling him in for a kiss whenever the mood struck her (Boy was that a shock for him at first) and similar instances.

Alastor would admit he wasn't the smartest when it came to matters of the heart (AN: Blame Big E) but even he realized that his two closest female companions felt something more than just friendship for him after such displays.

Something he found to his surprise he found he reciprocated bringing their relationship from friends to lovers.

He did feel guilty about loving two women at once and didn't know what would be the "right" choice in such a circumstance so he seeked the counsel of the wisest person he knew by making a temporary trip back home.

His mother.

(AN: Him and Bobby G are real mama's boys I'm starting to realize)

"Take them both!"

"Mother!?" Alastor looked at her scandalized.

"Oh don't give me that Alastor, simply answer me this. Do you love them?"

"I..I....Yes"

"Do you see yourself spending your final moments however long with them?"

"Yes" This time the reply was more decisive and firm.

"Then you have your answer my child"

"But.....I can't help but find it wrong, feeling that I'm the one getting more out of this relationship than them"

"Haha never change my sweet and kind child, but let me give you a lesson when it comes to love, It is NEVER reasonable nor is considered logical"

Taria leaned back on her chair as she gave her son a look. "Love is a domain of the heart and there are things in creations that no amount of logic or science will be able to explain, so we must instead use other means to navigate through them, in the case of love it our hearts"

"Listen to your heart Alastor and do what you believe is right, love them, respect them and most of all cherish them if you truly believe they are that important for you"

"Besides it's not like there are any laws or beliefs in Azeroth that forbid the taking of more than one wife it's just that your father is a prude when it comes to pursuing"

In fact she was the one who had to ultimately seduce and bed Llane since he was too mindful of boundaries and propriety when courting her.

No matter he might be a Prude but he was her prude at the end of the day.

With his mother's "sagely" advice Alastor had quickly made a trip to Quel'thalas and Kul Tiras.

----------------------------------------------

At Quel'thalas, Lireesa and Verath were surprisingly (for him) enough absolutely fine with the match and gave him their blessings to be engaged with their daughter.

Unknown to the Primarch, Lireesa already found him as a very suitable son-in-law, She especially found his qualities admirable in the time she had to know him.

Verath on the other hand already knew his daughter's feelings years ago and already gave his silent support not to mention he found Alastor very likable.

In fact Verath was very sure there would be at least something between Vereesa and Sylvannas between Alastor as well as time passed with how his other daughters were regularly interacting with him as well.

Did he have complaints? Not at all!

Verath found this as a absolute win. If Alastor ended up taking his daughters as his wives then he would know that they were married to not only a strong, wise and kind young man.

Much better than for him to worry about some two unknown men coming to snatch his daughters up and finding that they were bad.

Better for the one he personally liked to just be saddled with all 3!

But while Verath and Lireesa had no problem with the union (and possible future unions) it could not be said for the rest of Quel'thalas specifically the Nobles and Silvermoon council.

High Elves were naturally prideful due to their natural advantages, lifespan and beauty especially so when it came to Nobles.

The fact that Alleria who was even in her race considered a very beautiful and capable woman not to mention a part of a family as distinguished and Influential as the Windrunners was engaged to a human had appalled a lot of them.

Anasterian himself was not pleased with the match especially with his isolationist policies for Quel'thalas and his own pride but he stayed his hand.

Mainly because Lireesa was the longest living Ranger General that held the office and had the complete loyalty of the Farstriders and multiple groups of the High Elven armies.

Verath was also a powerful and influential member of the Silvermoon council and a powerful Archmage only a level below Anasterian himself who could command the power of the Sunwell.

If only he knew that Verath hoped to also engage his other two daughters with the same human as well then he might have truly tried to take some action seeing one of the principle High Elf houses being gift wrapped to a human prince.

But not all were opposed to the match as Kael'thas had personally congratulated his friend/rival for his engagement.

--------------------------------------------

At Kul Tiras, Daelin similarly had no objection to a match between him and Jaina but still wanted to play the strict and unapproving father role.

What? as a father-in-law he should be allowed to make his son-in-law squirm!

Unfortunately or fortunately, with how he would look at it in the future, Alastor afraid that the King would have some objection to the union decided to appeal to it in a more "practical" way for insurance.

In short Alastor gifted them a large amount of goods to show his "sincerity" some of which included schematics for greater models of Airships, fighters, Sea vessels as well as other technologies.

They also included other beneficial agreements, magic tomes and much more.

Daelin was the King of Kul Tiras which was a commerce nation and was one of the richest kings on the planet so he didn't desire money as much so Alastor did not offer that.

Seeing the sheer amount of things Alastor had gifted which would practically have his kingdom reach a whole new state of power at the very least, Daelin wanted to laugh like a hysterical witch!

By the Light, this was a absolute win for him!

He already was more or less of the mind of accepting the union since in practical terms he found a alliance with Stormwind beneficial especially with their recent rise and development.

But also because Daelin Proudmoore did love his daughter and saw that she genuinely loved the boy, not to mention the young man in question was practically a living demigod.

But with this amount of "Bride price" added on top of it, Daelin would be utterly mad if he didn't accept the union with the sheer amount of benefits he was being given on a silver plater.

This also had the benefit of showing Alastor's sincerity, since Daelin along with many influential people who had done business with Alastor knew that the man kept a majority of his technology both ancient tech he rediscovered and new tech he had made close to his chest.

The same was mostly said to be true when it came to his magical discoveries, since most of what he allows release to public were things that were beneficial for civilians, industry, economy, nature and society.

Most of his discoveries ESPECIALLY those regarding military and war were kept close to only him in his mind with none knowing if Alastor had them manufactured and kept them for his own forces or just kept their knowledge in his mind.

The fact that Alastor was willing to give away a significant amount of his tech along with other things to make sure there wouldn't even be a "slight" chance of objection to this union spoke volumes on the weight he put in it.

All in all, word would soon spread across the continent of Arda of his engagement to both Jaina Proudmoore and Alleria Windrunner.

-------------------------------------------------

Yet despite the happy occasions Alastor did find one thing that saddened him and it had to do with his now estranged friend Arthas.

Ever since the Winter Veil 3 years ago, he rarely ever got a chance to meet with him again especially since Arthas has stopped visiting Dalaran.

In his place Calia Menethil would instead start making trips to the floating city instead and while Alastor found her company pleasant, he was almost certain that Arthas was avoiding him.

The only thing he heard about him was that he had completely thrown himself into his duties as a Paladin and Prince and had been going around several places in the north of Arda to hunt down Beastkin, Orks, Black Mages and other threats.

If he wasn't hunting down monsters, it was said that he was taking a more active role in the problems of Lordaeron.

Alastor would be normally happy to hear of these things but it was quite hard to and it had to do with not only their distance and estrangement but also due to the rising tensions between the North and the South.

Ever since the Winter Veil 3 years ago it was almost like both sides of the continent and drawn lines in the sand.

In the north was Lordaeron which had allied itself with Alterac and increased military presence in their borders.

While in the South was Stormwind which had made formal alliances with Kul Tiras and Stromgarde.

Gilneas and Dalaran had made neutral stances, Gilneas more to do with their own Isolationist policy and Dalaran despite claiming neutrality leaning towards Stormwind with rumours being a large part due to Alastor.

The Bronzebeard and Wildhammer Dwarves had also cited neutrality, with the Bronzebeards having no choice since they were stuck between their friendship to both Kingdoms.

The High Elves of Quel'thalas, The Night Elves in the Kalimdor Archipelago and the Gnomes of Gnomeregan had also cited Neutrality.

Alastor was just thankful that things had stalled for the moment and had not escalated beyond this point which might have to do with some unsavoury things he had been hearing from up north and the slightly worried look Calia had when he enquired about news in the North.

News about heightened Black cult activity which the Church of Light had been cracking down on.

But one thing that the situation did was tell him that he had been away for long enough and it was time for him to return.

Back to home.

It was time to finally end his tenure in Dalaran and return to Stormwind.
