Chapter 77 - The Gravity Master’s Fighting Style

"Ancient One, why did she become like this?" Zod broke free of Morgan's hold, then looked at the Ancient One and asked.

Morgan, meanwhile, was shocked that Zod had broken her mind control so easily. Did that mean she hadn't actually controlled him just now?

"Most likely, a Dimensional Demon God awakened her bloodline," the Ancient One said.

She saw through everything about Morgan at a glance. She wasn't surprised that Morgan was the descendant of a Dimensional Demon God. Over the years, she had seen plenty of cases like this.

Some Dimensional Demon Gods, like Cyttorak creating the Juggernaut, would craft objects infused with the power of their dimension, turning humans into coordinates and chess pieces. But a large portion of them chose another method: having children.

And those children were very easily stimulated into awakening their bloodline abilities, becoming a malignant parasite embedded in the real dimension. The Ancient One hadn't expected that after so many years without any loopholes, another child of a Dimensional Demon God would appear.

Because Morgan was born in the real dimension and lacked the "otherworldly" aura of a Dimensional Demon God, reality itself would not reject her. The Ancient One also would not exile a native product like her. The only concern was that if Morgan used her power too much, it would give that Dimensional Demon God more opportunities.

The Ancient One sighed. Ever since Zod appeared, it felt like her workload had increased by quite a lot. And when she thought about how Stephen Strange would still need several more years before he could take over, she felt even more weighed down.

Morgan flung a mass of faint blue flames at them.

"Be careful. Her demonic power is extremely corrosive. It can erode your life and your soul," the Ancient One warned.

Then she saw Zod catch Morgan's demonic flames with his bare hand.

With triple-layered defenses from his electromagnetic field, gravitational field, and his own biofield, the demonic flames couldn't erode Zod in the slightest.

Zod did consider testing whether his energy absorption could absorb this demonic power, but after thinking about it, he decided not to court death.

The Ancient One glanced at Zod in surprise. She had studied science too, after all. Life was long, and when she got bored, she researched things. She could understand what Zod had done, but she hadn't expected him to approach the level of deducing a unified field so quickly. Most magic and curses likely wouldn't affect him anymore.

Buzz buzz buzz.

Two heat-vision beams fired first. After Zod used gravity as the medium for energy conduction, the power of those two heat-vision beams far exceeded the level they should have had.

How well a medium transfers energy depends on its inherent properties. Air simply wasn't a suitable carrier.

For example, gravitational conduction.

Gravity's capacity to conduct energy exceeded air by far more than tens of thousands of times. If the energy frequency of heat vision was converted into gravitational waves, the power would become unimaginable!

Photon energy is calculated by E=hνE=hν, where hh is Planck's constant and νν is the frequency. The higher the frequency, the higher the energy. But laser frequency ranges are only about 3.846×1014 Hz3.846×1014Hz to 7.895×1014 Hz7.895×1014Hz.

If gravitational waves were used to conduct it, that frequency could be increased by ten times!

Microscopic particles have discrete energy levels. At any given moment, a particle can only exist at one level. When a particle transitions from a higher level to a lower level, it releases a corresponding photon. This is stimulated emission.

And what triggers that stimulation is another beam of lower-energy photons.

Two blazing beams, carrying heat comparable to the Sun's core, shot toward Morgan. The condensed energy even twisted space itself, creating a bizarre ripple within gravity.

The moment you saw the red light, it was already too late. This was a speed humans could not react to, could not reach, and could not even comprehend. The speed of light was unsolvable.

At the same time, Zod controlled the surrounding electromagnetic field, forcing the transitioning particles into an extreme state. This was a massive energy field spanning several kilometers. The heat vision was strengthened again!

Where the heat vision passed, the warped air detonated in the sky. Wherever Zod's gaze fell, all matter that existed was torn into scattered particles within 10−4 s10−4s. Flying ash swept past like ocean waves. Everything, regardless of mass, hardness, size, or strength, turned into ash before that energy.

The Ancient One frowned. Within 10−4 s10−4s, she twisted the Mirror Dimension and refracted the heat vision. Even so, Morgan, who was more than ten meters away from the beam, was carbonized from head to toe. The shield she raised didn't last even one second.

"Are you trying to kill her?" the Ancient One said, speechless as she looked at Zod.

Those two beams, if she hadn't refracted them, would have made Morgan vanish completely, leaving nothing but active molecules.

Because Zod used gravitational-wave conduction, plus an electromagnetic field to stimulate extreme transitions of high-energy-level particles down to low-energy levels, the two heat-vision beams, which should have only been enough to cut objects or destroy a building, had become a massive energy output capable of evaporating the entire city of New York!

Morgan's body was fully carbonized, but she recovered quickly.

"I thought she was strong right now," Zod said.

He genuinely couldn't figure out the combat power on the mystical side. If it were the Hulk, Zod wouldn't even need to use his fists. Gravity alone could crush him completely. But Morgan's current form looked terrifyingly powerful, so of course Zod went all out.

"Zod!" Morgan charged at him.

"Get lost!" Zod spoke.

He conducted the sound wave with gravitational waves. What should have been an ordinary sound wave instantly produced a horrifying effect. Morgan was blasted backward by that single shout, bleeding from all seven orifices, her entire body split by the vibration. Even the Mirror Dimension briefly cracked. If this were outside, the destructive power would be comparable to the shockwave released by the Hiroshima atomic bomb.

The essence of sound was vibration, and every substance had its own resonant frequency. Once you matched that resonant frequency, even kryptonite and vibranium would shatter and collapse with ease.

Zod felt like he could temporarily fill in as Black Bolt.

"Enough. Leave it to me," the Ancient One said, stopping Zod from continuing to experiment, mainly because the Mirror Dimension couldn't withstand Zod's "testing."

"Ancient One, what are you going to do to her?" Zod asked.

Morgan had been knocked unconscious by that one shout. Fortunately, her demonic power passively granted her ultra-fast regeneration. She still wasn't truly immortal, but she was close.

"Appease her mind," the Ancient One said calmly. Throwing Morgan into a time loop a few hundred times would probably solve everything.

"Will she be hurt?" Zod asked again.

Although Morgan hadn't withstood even his two probing attacks and seemed weak, Zod was very interested in her current form. Her body structure looked beautiful. He really wanted to study it properly.
