Unfortunately, aside from that one successful Beast Soldier, none of World Serpent's other members could withstand Colossus's mutant gene. They either nearly died, or there was no reaction at all.

Zod didn't believe the world could only ever have one Colossus. He guessed the probability of genetic compatibility was simply too low. It looked like he would need to add another round of sample screening.

The Beast Soldier who became Colossus was transferred by Zod into another organization, one that didn't belong to World Serpent.

A newly established one.

Deathwing.

Since the World Serpent was coiled around the world's snake, Jormungandr, there naturally had to be an existence that stood above the heavens.

Deathwing was the force that stood above World Serpent. Originally, Zod intended for the Beast God Generals to appear and become Deathwing's members, but now he felt mutants could work too. If nothing else, this Colossus Beast Soldier was probably far stronger than the original Colossus. Zod had already taken samples of the organic metal on his body, hoping to replicate that metal.

Anyway, Deathwing was simply Zod's hardest-hitting group. Whether they were Beast God Generals or mutants didn't matter.

Take Blonsky, for example. Zod already planned to turn him into Abomination. A Super Beast Soldier plus Abomination should be significantly stronger, right?

After having Ulde continue expanding the population covered by free health checkups, and ideally pushing other countries to run similar charity programs, Zod's superhuman plan discovered new targets.

The first target of the superhuman plan had been Jessica Campbell. Now the newly discovered targets were Wanda and Quicksilver.

In a universe without mutants, Wanda and Quicksilver's abilities were defined as powers awakened by the Mind Stone. Of course, that was the movie version setting, and it was also why Zod originally listed them as targets.

Besides them, the superhuman plan's files also included people like Quake. Luke Cage still hadn't been found, and Zod didn't know whether he simply hadn't gotten out of prison yet.

Wanda and Quicksilver were currently in Sokovia and hadn't voluntarily become Baron Strucker's test subjects. After obtaining Zod's permission, the Black Queen had already dispatched Beast Soldiers to bring the two back.

Using the supersonic aircraft Zod secretly developed, the Beast Soldiers completed the trip at extreme speed. None of the countries' air defense systems detected them. The Beast Soldiers all felt proud of their organization's powerful technology, but they couldn't understand why the boss still hadn't ordered them to conquer the world.

Wanda and Quicksilver had no choice but to come with them. When they arrived, they found themselves facing a very handsome man, and his identity as the world's largest arms dealer was automatically ignored.

"Don't worry. I won't hurt you."

Zod smiled as he spoke. The mature-minded Wanda blushed, while Quicksilver didn't think much of it.

"You had people forcibly take us, and you're saying you won't hurt us?" Quicksilver said bluntly.

"Pietro!"

Wanda grabbed her brother's sleeve. Besides worry, she also didn't want to see him being so aggressive.

"It's fine. I just want you to join my company. Then I'll sponsor your education and living expenses until you're adults."

Zod had Ulde speak with them. This time, Quicksilver became easy to talk to.

Ulde had no idea why Zod had brought back these two underage kids. Did Zod like this type?

Wanda's face was even more delicate and pretty than the movie version, but she noticed Zod's gaze didn't linger on her for long. Mainly because Zod didn't like her type. Zod liked mature older-sister types, elegant dominant women with hot figures. Wanda was still too young right now, probably malnourished.

Through the conversation, the two learned Zod had no malicious intent. Forcibly taking them away was certainly strange, but Zod only had them undergo a health check, then had Ulde take them to handle U.S. citizenship and school enrollment.

They could hardly believe it. Did someone like this, a truly good person, really exist in the world?

Then why help only them?

After obtaining the samples, Zod couldn't wait to enter the lab and begin research, with Dr. Connors assisting at his side.

Connors was shocked by Zod's rate of improvement. At first, Zod had only been at the level of a lab assistant who handled grunt work, and not even a front-line assistant. Yet just a few days later, it had become hard for Connors to even keep up as Zod's assistant.

Especially since Zod kept bringing in gene samples that shattered his imagination, and the Beast Soldiers, who had originally been limited to Earth organism genes, seemed to be gradually becoming abnormal as well.

Wanda and Quicksilver's genes contained no mutant gene component. Instead, it was yet another new gene Zod had never seen before.

"Just how many special genes does Earth have?" Zod complained.

It seemed Earth also had Skrulls and Asgardians. He didn't know whether he could get gene samples from them too.

Right now, Zod had already started researching cloning technology and had made progress. At the very least, the design blueprint was complete, and it had been handed over to the Black Queen for construction.
