How do You hate someone
For taking the breathe from your chest
When they thread on nonchalant feet ,
Sucking up the air and leaving you
Stunned, dying, gasping for breathe.
How do you love someone
For picking the threads from your heart,
In silent strands, bubbling beneath
Their rebuffing glare, till the words bounce off
And demand audience from ink and paper.
How do you tell someone
Their presence teases you voicelessly
Till your thighs croaks out in surrender, Wet
And their absence is no solace because
Your eyes and ink protest in defiance, Wet.
How do you love someone
With so much ardour, Fierce
Like the way I hate to love you.
