Sitting alone, gazing upon the world as entropy finishes its work and the forces of existances begin again, Eto sighed, his voice echoing through the vast emptiness surrounding him.
"This epoch may have been my lonliest. Is a shame really, a great war breaking out half way through and wiping out all life? For what? A drop of my tears?"
He had been careful, having already learned what happened when his fluids leaving his body containing primordial origin leak out. Always careful, even while disguised as a mortal, only letting out normal fluids. But during one of his trips along the mortal worlds a simple duck got its bill stuck in a can, flew away, lost its balance and landed directly in his cook pot. The sight caused him to keel over laughing and unintentionaly a single tear containing the jurest joy slipped out.
A duck, a simple creature, no mana, qi or any abnormalities set off a catclysm that ended all life, leaving him alone for trillions of years. Again. Another sigh. He hadn't even had a chance to find a partner this time, or delight in an pleasures that always drove away the lonliness.
Eto watched as around him, long empty divine domains crumbled, the last remaining planets ground to dust and even the last stars blinking out as all the mater and energy of the universe flowed back towards the center. Watching as it washed past him and his small domain, filled with books, knowledge crystals, jade slips and all manner of things containing the knowledge of epochs past, worlds long since lost to time.
Eto clossed his eyes as all of existance pooled together, the sight stunningly breathtaking, almost as beautiful as a woman bearing her truest desires. And sighed again. He'd been sighing alot this cycle. Something about being alone always depressed him.
"Maybe its time to sleep for a few million years, enough time for at least some life and divine beings to start existing. At least in proto forms. I think this one should have mana at leqst. Thats always fun, and leads to many beuaties being born."
Eto rose, turned away from the end of one reality and made his way towards his bed, awaiting the next one.
