13 years ago when the two greatest empires fought, 30% of their population were wiped out among which the Kraberos family was also included. The kraberos estate was burning,"Valefor even if we die go to our 4th estate in Easant, all our wealth is stored there and whatever you do, do not enter the basement" Lisa Kraberos bit farewell to his son before dying from bleeding after getting shot on stomach by the enemies. The Polard empire lost against the Golted empire, all the nobles were fallen with the empire but the Kraberos was safe on top of that no one knows the origin of the Kraberos. The new higher demons and nobles rose again, serving the new king after the sudden death of previous king. "How long will i spent my life with this money" said Valefor while sitting in his balcony all alone in his estate. After zoning out for few hours an idea came to his mind "oh I turned 18 a few months ago, i should enter the magic academy and graduate to become a tower master. If i did that i can earn money while running the magic tower in Easant". So he started to learn about elemental affinity, the mana type that can increase the elemental spells of specific elements. He learnt that he had blood affinity which is usually owned by demons, he was confused but then he also learnt that he also had lighting affinity. So, with his newly found affinities he started practicing for the academy's exam, but while doing it he felt like someone was watching him from somewhere.
"Looks like it's the start of a new era, Those old fools ignored the old rules of the Kraberos family but this kid is opposite of them. I Zetor Kraberos, the Crown of the Kraberos along with Valefor Kraberos shall Revive the old glory of this family!"
Valefor felt a chill, but decided to practice more. One day while roaming around his estate, he found an old spell book which contained information about how to combine darkness and lightening together. The first spell he learnt was VOID FLASH a spell that transports a person, during the transportation the person's image will be left which will soon get corrupted and vanishes. He learnt many spells from that spell book, but at the last page he found the map of the basement.
Of course he forgot what his mother said to him as he was too young, he went to the basement and there were two staircases, both led into the pitch black abyss but the book said never enter the right one as it is a trap which will lead to the eternal maze, a place where you will roam around for an eternity unless a god feels pity towards you and get you out of there.
So he went to the right staircase, the staircase lead so deep into the ground that he walked for 10 hours straight without eating or excretion because of a spell in the basement "does this lead to the depths of earth or something, why the heck is it so deep" he murmured. At the end of the path there was a huge iron bars with a seal, The book said attack it with Shadow lightening "wait a minute, what the heck is that spell it is not in the book. Now what am i suppose to do after coming all the way here?" while he was wondering how to do this spell, he glanced over the wall with weird paintings and scriptures. After reading the scriptures he learnt how to do the Shadow lightening, it is the strongest darkness and lightening fusion spell that can destroy a whole nation in mere seconds. He used it on the seal, but he collapsed right after breaking the seal as it consumed too much mana. When he woke up he saw that the gate was open "never using that spell again, imagine i die after using it, and why in the world would i want to destroy a whole nation who the heck invented this spell". Right after he said that, Zetor smirked while looking at him sitting on his throne.
"who the heck are you" Valefor asked him
"i am zetor, the crown of the Kraberos" he answered
Valefor didn't seem to doubt him as while coming down the stairs he saw lot of scriptures mentioning the name Zetor.
"so what are you going to do as i have unsealed you" valefor questioned him
"nothing to be honest, but i will teach you the truth and the secret spells of the Kraberos"
he started telling the true reason why the old king didn't touch the Kraberos or why his family died. "The Kraberos are the highest high level of dumans, or the beings considered the duality of a human and demon. The kraberos family was the most powerful and most feared because of their power, I zetor was the father of the first head of Kraberos but i was reborn as a crown with no memories. Even if i was a crown i had a physical body, but it is not normal as it looks like i had a body completely made of solid blood. Oh so where was i, I was sealed by your grandfather, and he passed down to his children that they should never enter the basement as it was the place where he sealed me. To be honest i had no problem with that but he erased the traces that the Kraberos family is the highest ranking dumans, i thought that was the end of Kraberos family until you decided to find your elemental affinity. Your grandfather banned the usage of magic as it will reveal the darkness affinity and the lightening affinity, but you you found the spell book and came to unseal me, I shall help you revive your family". Zetor was kinda worried as he thought Valefor might reject his offer but instead
"Fine zetor help me revive this family"
he accepted his offer. After a few more month of training but this time with zetor he was finally ready to enter the academy. He got the noble pass as even if all the old kings died they were still cautious not to enrage the Kraberos'.
He was ready to reveal the Kraberos family to the world
"in the near future this kid will put fear in people but also earn respect from others" zetor smirked while thinking about this
This was the beginning of the boy from the fallen family and the crown from the depths of the world
