Her eye twitched. Her fingers tightened around the glass. Her entire relaxed queen like expression collapsed into pure rage.
"This damn system!" she exploded. "Can't it let me enjoy my luxurious life for one second?! Just one! Is that too much to ask?!"
She slapped the water, roses jumping like terrified survivors.
It was like the system had waited for her to reach peak happiness just so it could throw a bucket of cold water right on her head. And it didn't even feel sorry. Not even a little.
