The Hermit Odis concluded, "That's all I know about the angel families. There must be some other angel families that are not well-known."
"It is said that there were many angels in the Third Age, most of whom were loyal to the 'Ancient Sun God'. In the Fourth Age, some of them were promoted to Sequence 1 or obtained a complete potion recipe, thus establishing a family of angels."
"I think Solomon and Zoroaster likely served the 'ancient sun god' together in the Third Age, which is why they had a certain relationship."
This book was first published on the Taiwan Novel Network → 𝒕𝒘𝒌𝒂𝒏.𝒄𝒐𝒎, providing you with a reading experience without errors or disordered chapters.
Emlyn, the "Moon," nodded slowly. Although the "Hermit" said so, this was the most comprehensive information he had heard about the Angel Family so far.
Klein, the "Fool" behind the gray fog, also remarked: "With the 'Hermit's' analysis, the history of the Quaternary period has become much more vivid."
Odis continued, "After the Fourth Age, some angels chose to pledge allegiance to the 'True Creator,' and after the fall of the Solomon Empire, a large number of them went to the 'Forsaken Land.'"
"It is said that some angels joined the 'Redemption Rose' at this time."
Before this, the threshold for joining "Redemption Rose" was very high, and it was not something that ordinary angels could join.
Odis paused slightly and then said, "It is said that some angels went to support the Tudor Empire after the fall of the Solomon Empire, or simply did not pledge allegiance to any of them. However, after the fall of the Tudor Empire and the reunification of the Northern Continent, some angels had no place to live and thus perished."
"Most of them left no records; the only one I know is the 'Mother of Heaven' from the 'Land of Night'."
"There are also some angels who supported the Tudor Empire, and many of them went on to support the Byron Empire."
"After the failure of the 'Emperor of the Underworld' and the 'Primordial Witch's' mission, it seems that a group of angels also perished."
"These angels may have descendants, but because they were losers and not great nobles in the 'Battle of the Four Emperors,' they simply disappeared into the annals of history."
The priestess, Cattleya, exclaimed, "This is what history truly looks like."
Or rather, unless one is a god, obscurity is the norm in history.
After everyone reflected on the weight of history for a while, the transaction ended, and Klein restored the senses of "The Hanged Man" Alger and "The Sun" Derrick.
Derrick then proposed trading extraordinary weapons with Odis again, and the two have now traded 16 weapons at once, with a greater variety of types than before.
The people of Silver City also loved the "new" weapons, after all, "more for the same price".
Derrick himself would occasionally buy one or two more scrolls, which he said could also achieve unexpected results.
"Little Sun" is still paid for with extraordinary materials of Sequence 9 level. At present, more and more extraordinary people know that the Information Exchange Association and the Mysticism Research Association can reliably provide extraordinary materials of Sequence 9 level, and many people specially attend the meetings to purchase them.
Therefore, the extraordinary materials traded at these two gatherings are already in short supply.
Two months ago, Odis always had eight or nine pieces of extraordinary materials in stock. Now, let alone stock, sometimes Odis has to purchase from "Little Sun" because of too many orders.
Sixteen extraordinary weapons, equivalent to 800 pounds, can be exchanged for 11 pieces of extraordinary materials of Sequence 9. A single transaction can yield around 1700 pounds, making a considerable profit.
If it weren't for Odis's current high expenses, the deal with "Little Sun" alone would be enough to cover his expenses. After all, he can earn more than 3,000 pounds a month, which would make him a wealthy man even in Backlund.
For the next few seconds, the other members remained silent and made no further requests.
Seeing this, Klein, using the identity of "The Fool," said, "Let's begin the exchange."
The eyes of Audrey, the "Justice" member, and others immediately turned to Derrick, the "Sun," because at the last Tarot meeting, the "Sun" had mentioned that Silver City had begun its second exploration of the "Giant's Court."
"The Sun" is one of the members of this exploration team.
Derrick, who was in the center of attention, paused for a moment before saying, "Last week, I followed the exploration team led by the 'Chief' to Afternoon Town."
"This is the only way to the 'Giant's Court,' the gateway separating myth and reality."
His opening effectively piqued the interest of the Tarot Club members. Even Odis was captivated by his description and couldn't help but exclaim: "Little Sun, you've got quite a few adjectives now, and you're quite the storyteller!"
Last year, "Little Sun" was very stiff when recounting his experiences, and he made even the strangest and most novel things sound boring.
Derrick omitted the less important experiences along the way and started directly from the arrival in Afternoon Town. He first described the gloomy and desolate appearance of the town, and then talked about how the trio found the underground altar, how he distinguished the names of Ulorus, Medici and Sasriel on the altar, and how they unknowingly entered the other side of the town and saw the titles such as "Dark Angel" and the phrase "Redemption Rose".
At this point, he thanked Mr. Fool again for helping him out of his predicament.
Then, Derrick briefly described how his shadow transformed into a monster, focusing instead on the clergyman in the half-collapsed church who was constantly confessing.
He repeated those sentences and mentioned that when the clergy were about to utter the name of the fourth "King of Angels," they were suddenly burned to ashes by transparent flames!
At that moment, "The Sun" Derrick turned and looked toward the head of the bronze table, asking reverently, "'The Fool,' who tempted 'The Dark Angel' Sasriel? Why couldn't you utter the fourth name?"
Klein's smile nearly froze as he emerged from behind the gray fog: Here they come.
The reason he rushed to throw "Little Sun" back into the real world when he rescued him in Afternoon Town was because he was afraid that he would ask similar questions.
Magicians don't perform unprepared acts. After that day, Klein seriously considered how to answer the question. Now he was prepared and smiled meaningfully, "Because it's a secret."
He implied to the members of the Tarot Club that this "secret" was not a secret in the normal sense, but had a deeper and more specific meaning.
But you can figure out for yourselves what it means.
After doing all this, Klein couldn't help but feel a pang of remorse, realizing he was becoming more and more like a charlatan: "There's nothing I can do about it. How else can I keep up the act? I'm not a real evil god!"
Alger, the "Hanged Man," combined the clues given by Mr. Fool, the description of "Little Sun," and the information he had previously obtained from the "Hermit," and made some guesses.
Seeing that "Little Sun" could not immediately understand Mr. Fool's profound hint, he took the initiative to explain: "That name may represent a deity, which is why it cannot be spoken of."
"From your description, Afternoon Town seems to have the power of 'shadow' and 'corruption,' which seems to be the authority of the 'true creator.'"
"Perhaps it was the 'True Creator' who tempted the 'Dark Angel' Sasriel, which led to the fall of several 'Angel Kings' and the residents of Afternoon Town."
Cattleya nodded slowly: This is about the same as my guess.
Odis suddenly said, "I have a different opinion about the one who supposedly seduced the 'Dark Angel'."
Everyone was taken aback and looked at Odis.
Odis asked the "Little Sun": "Was the situation like this? When the clergyman spoke of who had tempted the 'Dark Angel,' he opened his mouth, but could not utter the corresponding syllables."
Derrick nodded quickly: "Yes, yes!"
Odis looked around at everyone and said, "This reminds me of an experience from a certain 'adventure' where, in the outside world, this was the reaction when you tried to reveal the true name of the 'Goddess of the Night'."
"Just as Mr. Fool pointed out, the Goddess of Night holds the power of 'Secrets,' and directly points to the name 'Secrets'!"
That was the reaction of Odis, a "Death" pathway extraordinary being who had been tricked by the goddess into entering the "Goddess's Prison" after the Great Smog of Backlund ended, when the goddess's true name was mentioned.
Everyone couldn't help but sit up straight. The hermit's words meant that the "Goddess of Night" had seduced the "Dark Angel," bringing disaster upon them!
Audrey, a follower of the "Goddess of Night," said, "This...this is unlikely, isn't it?"
Klein, who was once a full member of the "Night Watchers" squad, also found it hard to accept, because it meant that the "Goddess of the Night" had brought disaster, which could very well have triggered a "Great Cataclysm".
He couldn't help but deny it in his mind: Don't be ridiculous, that's not what I meant.
Odis smiled and said, "That clergyman's description is not quite accurate. It can't be called a temptation, but rather a collaboration with the 'Dark Angel'."
cooperate?
Klein and Audrey both breathed a slight sigh of relief, realizing that there must be some hidden story behind this.
The other members were also very curious about this question and waited for the "hermit" to continue.
However, Odis changed the subject, saying, "Since we've come this far, let's begin trading the history of the Third Age."
"Little Sun" was so excited he almost stood up. He had waited so long, and Mr. "Hermit" was finally going to trade the history of the Third Age.
He immediately asked, "'The Hermit,' sir, what would you like to exchange as the primary trader?"
In Derrick's view, it was inappropriate to trade such crucial intelligence for extraordinary materials of such low level, which were not particularly valuable in Silver City.
"Let's use extraordinary materials," said Odis, who was open to any offer. "However, we can use some of the Sequence 8 materials to offset the reward for the intelligence."
"Furthermore, I must point out that the intelligence regarding the Tertiary period is extremely valuable. I believe its total value should be around £12,000, which can be split into two transactions. The reward for this transaction is £6,000, and only one list will be published in this transaction."
Derrick nodded immediately: "No problem."
He was willing to trade even for 100 of the corresponding materials, because even if 100 materials were used, the extraordinary materials stored in Silver City would only "increase in price" slightly.
The other members were also curious: what kind of list was worth £6,000?
However, out of trust in the "hermit" and curiosity about the history of the Tertiary period, everyone joined the trade.
They eventually agreed that "Sun" and "Justice" would each contribute 1,500 pounds, "Priestess" would contribute 1,000 pounds, and the other members would each contribute 500 pounds, jointly paying this huge sum of money.
After everyone had discussed it, Odis said, "I am going to announce the list of members of 'Redemption Rose'."
Cattleya was taken aback. She had heard of the "Redemption Rose," an organization that served the "True Creator," and it was said that there were angel-level beings within it.
But then she realized that things wouldn't be that simple, because a list from such an organization couldn't possibly be that valuable.
Alger and the other members recalled that during a previous transaction, the "Hermit" had said that the current leader of the "Redemption Rose" was the "Angel of Fate," Urolius.
They also realized that the organization might not be as simple as it seemed.
Odis continued, "The initial members of this organization were roughly divided into two parts. One part consisted of the 'Angel Kings' led by the 'Dark Angel' Sasriel."
"Besides 'Dark Angel' Sasriel, there is 'Wind Angel' Leodorus, 'Cherubim' Herabergen, 'Pure White Angel' Osekus, 'Red Angel' Medici, and 'Fate Angel' Ullolius."
Klein, behind the gray fog, thought to himself: "The lineup of these 'Angel Kings' alone is quite formidable."
Then he thought: Could my previous guess be correct? Was the fall of the ancient sun god due to the betrayal of His subordinates?
Klein remarked: In the extraordinary world, having too many powerful subordinates is not necessarily a good thing.
Derrick thought to himself: If all these "Kings of Angels" have fallen, that would be terrible!
He then recalled the intelligence from the previous transaction: apart from the "Dark Angels" being rather mysterious and rarely mentioned by Mr. Hermit, after the "Great Cataclysm," it seemed that the other "Angel Kings" had indeed betrayed the "Omniscient and Omnipotent Lord." The "Wind Angels," "Cherubim," and "Pure White Angels" became gods one after another, while the "Red Angels" and "Fate Angels" also switched their allegiance to the "True Creator."
He sighed: So they had all fallen. No wonder none of the six "Kings of Angels" tried to resurrect the "All-Knowing and All-Powerful Lord," but instead established their own churches or found new objects of loyalty.
Alger, the "Hanged Man," noticed that of the eight "Angel Kings," only two had not joined the "Redemption Rose." They were Adam, the "Imaginary Angel," and Amon, the "Time Angel," two divine sons of the "Ancient Sun God."
Alger realized that the "Redemption Rose" might be related to the fall of the "Ancient Sun God": these "Angel Kings" must be plotting something and were afraid that the "Ancient Sun God" would find out, which is why they did not invite Adam and Amon.
Odis continued, "The other members of the 'Redemption Rose' were invited by the 'Goddess of Night' at the request of the 'Ancient Sun God'."
"Justice," Audrey couldn't help but interrupt Odis's description: "A member invited by the goddess?"
"Yes," Odis smiled. "As we said before, the Church of the Goddess of Night was one of the first organizations to pledge its protection to humanity."
"Another organization that has always protected humanity is the 'Ancient Sun God' and His power."
"In that era, humans did not have the status they have today. The main extraordinary powers at that time were giants, elves, dire wolves, and other extraordinary creatures."
"At that time, extraordinary creatures were the mainstream, and protecting humanity required courage and sufficient strength."
The other members were stunned, suddenly feeling completely unfamiliar with that period of history.
The key question is what it would be like for humans to be marginalized in the extraordinary realm.
Odis continued, "Moreover, I learned from other sources that the 'Ancient Sun God' and the 'Goddess of Night' cooperated during the Second Age."
"Although the Church of Night was a secret organization in the Third Age, the 'Ancient Sun God' and the 'Goddess of Night' had a certain connection."
"So when the 'Ancient Sun God' was secretly planning and establishing the 'Redemption Rose', he entrusted the 'Goddess of Night' to invite the gods of the then-hidden organization to join the 'Redemption Rose'."
Klein nearly lost his composure: What? The "Ancient Sun God" secretly established the "Redemption Rose"? This...
All his previous guesses were overturned at once!
Alger was quite surprised: Weren't the "Kings of Angels" doing something detrimental to the ancient sun god? Then why didn't they invite Adam and Amon?
Cattleya found it rather strange: At the level of the "Ancient Sun God," what kind of things would require secretly establishing an organization to carry out?
Audrey, however, was more curious: "'The Hermit,' was the Church of the Goddess of Night once a secret organization?"
"Yes," Odis smiled. "Not only the Church of the Night, but most of the churches among the Seven Gods were originally secret organizations."
"Yes, the Church of the 'Ancient Sun God' and the Church of the Night were absolute outliers in the Second Age."
"Because the extraordinary power at that time was organized primarily according to race, as 'Sun' once said, during the Second Era, the management model of the vampires was basically one 'ancestor' and several regional leaders, while ordinary vampires belonged to different leaders."
"This was probably the norm at the time, and its management model was extremely simple."
"Because if they have any important matters, they can bypass the leader and report directly to the 'ancestor,' which is completely different from the modern government management model."
Emlyn, the "Moon," thought that noble vampires must be different from other races, but he only thought about it and didn't say anything.
"But the organization of the church is different," Odis said. "It has the position of missionary, who preach in the territories of different races."
"Although both churches primarily preach to humans, humans are a race ruled by extraordinary beings and are bound to deal with giants and elves."
"It is said that in the late Second Age, the 'Giant King' sent people to contact a secret organization similar to the 'Church of Man' in order to fight against the Elves. However, the 'Ancient Sun God' defeated the 'Giant King' directly, and the matter was dropped."
Derrick nodded in agreement. He believed that the people of Silver City had likely established contact with the missionaries of the Lord before the "King of Giants" fell.
After the "King of Giants" fell, he formally became a believer in the "omniscient and omnipotent God".
Odis continued, "In the Third Age, this situation changed somewhat. At that time, the only true church was the church of the ancient sun god."
"Most of the remaining extraordinary organizations have become 'covert organizations'."
"However, the 'secret organizations' back then were not like they are now, representing evil. At least an organization like the 'Church of the Night' should have been semi-publicly recognized by the 'Ancient Sun God' and could develop followers within a certain range."
Audrey and the others felt somewhat unfamiliar again, mainly because they were not used to the fact that the current Church of the True God was a secret organization.
Seeing that no one had any further questions, Odis continued, "The 'Goddess of Night,' at the request of the 'Ancient Sun God,' joined the 'Redemption Rose' and personally invited Badhall and Omibella..."
"Wait a minute." Alger's eyes twitched slightly as he asked, "Are you talking about 'God of War' Badhre?"
By chance, he saw the part of the "Book of Storms" that was only accessible to high-ranking church officials and not made public.
From that, he learned the names of two gods: Leodorus, the Lord of Storms, and Badheir, the God of War.
Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!
Cattleya chimed in, "I remember the queen of the 'Giant King,' the goddess of harvest, was named Omibella."
She mentioned this topic when she first attended a tarot meeting. She said that after the Second Age, the "Goddess of Harvest" seemed to have disappeared, and there were no clues about her. Unexpectedly, she suddenly joined the "Redemption Rose" in the Third Age.
Odis answered Alger's question first: "It is the current 'God of War' Badhel. Since we're on the topic, let me briefly talk about this god."
"He was the son of the 'King of Giants' and ascended to godhood at the end of the Second Age."
Everyone was stunned for a moment before being overwhelmed by surprise.
What Emlyn "the Moon" didn't expect was that "God of War" was a giant?
Before attending the Tarot Club, he always thought that vampires were the only remaining ancient race. However, he later learned that the "God of Knowledge and Wisdom" was actually a dragon and the "Goddess of Night" was actually a demon wolf.
Now he also knows that the "God of War" is actually a giant!
This has left Emlin feeling indifferent to descriptions like "ancient".
After his initial surprise, Alger remarked: Among the seven gods, the "Goddess of Knowledge and Wisdom," the "Goddess of Night," and the "God of War" are ancient races from the Second Age. The "Eternal Sun" and the "Lord of Storms" might be human, and the "God of Steam and Machinery" should also be, right? As for the "Mother Earth," it's still uncertain.
"The Magician" Fors also thought to himself: Some truths are better left unknown.
Before this, the image of the Seven Gods in her mind was that of a sacred and solemn human being. But now, when she thought of the Seven Gods again, she suddenly felt that they were all ferocious and terrifying ancient monsters.
Even "Little Sun" Derrick hadn't expected that among the seven gods in the outside world, there would be a giant among them.
This left him with mixed feelings, after all, the predecessor of Silver City, the "Silver Kingdom", had once been loyal to the "King of Giants".
After his initial surprise, Klein thought of another question: Would the "Goddess" invite the "God of War" to participate in the "Redemption of the Rose"? Aren't these two gods supposed to have an irreconcilable conflict?
The other members also had their own associations, but they were all mainly surprised.
Odis gave everyone some time to react before continuing, "The Church of the God of War was also one of the secret organizations at the time. Most of the giants who survived were protected by the 'God of War,' and it is said that even now, there are still giant tribes in the Fusak Empire."
"Although I haven't received any specific intelligence, it's not hard to imagine that the Church of War is not in as good a situation as the Church of Night, after all, the 'King of Giants' was once the 'Ancient Sun God'."
"With such an invitation, the 'God of War' will definitely participate in order to improve relations with the 'Ancient Sun God' and give the Church of the God of War more room for development."
At this point, Odis paused for a moment and then said, "Do you all remember the concept of 'above the gods' that we talked about before?"
After everyone nodded, Odis continued, "I learned from another source that the gods of the Third Age did not yet have the concept of 'above the gods'."
"So at that time, the battles or conflicts between gods were mostly not due to neighboring paths, but rather due to various interests or emotional factors."
"It is precisely because there is no concept of 'above the gods' that the 'Goddess of Night' not only invited the 'God of War', but also the 'God of the Dead' Salinger at that time."
Audrey was taken aback: "The later 'Emperor of the Underworld'?"
"Yes," Odis said. "Because at that time He still called himself the 'God of the Dead,' so we can be sure that he had not yet become a god, but he had most likely reached the level of the King of Angels."
"This is also why I believe He has a close connection with the 'Ancient Sun God,' because, judging from some of his actions, the 'Ancient Sun God' trusts the 'Goddess of Night' more."
"The gods invited by the 'Goddess of Night' may not necessarily be trusted by the 'Ancient Sun God,' but at least the two sides can maintain a basic level of mutual trust."
Hearing this, Klein frowned: adding the six "Angel Kings" who once served the "Ancient Sun God," that's already seven Angel Kings plus two gods! The power of the "Redemption Rose" is terrifying! What could the "Ancient Sun God" possibly want that would require the secret formation of such an organization?
Odis then answered Cattleya's question: "Omibella is indeed the name of the queen of the 'Giant King,' and it is also the true name of the 'Earth Mother Goddess.'"
"What?" Emlyn thought he had misheard: "'Mother Earth' is... the queen of the 'King of Giants'?"
He glanced at the "sun" beside him. If he remembered correctly, the "Silver Kingdom" worshipped the queen of the "Giant King".
this...
Emlyn then thought about how he was gradually beginning to believe in the "Earth Mother Goddess": Fortunately, Silver City has now converted to the "Ancient Sun God," otherwise I would essentially have the same faith as the "Sun."
Cattleya paused for a moment, then shook her head: No wonder there were no records of the "Goddess of Harvest" in the Third Age; it turns out she was promoted to a true god and renamed the "Mother Goddess of the Earth."
Alger took a deep breath: The fourth one, the fourth deity is not human.
Audrey also remarked: "The extraordinary races of the Second Age have had a profound influence! Even now, the gods of the Fifth Age, if we trace their origins, can mostly be traced back to that ancient era."
Fors simply thought: I've learned the true name of another god.
At the same time, she also understood why a list was worth £6,000: most of the names on the list had become gods, either then or later.
This is information about the gods!
Odis answered Emlyn's question: "You can think of it that way."
Emlyn nodded, somewhat regretting that he had wasted another opportunity to ask a question, but when he heard the "Hermit" say that, it was simply too astonishing! He couldn't help but ask.
Klein noticed that the "hermit" did not give a direct and accurate answer, but instead said, "You can think of it that way." Could there be some hidden story behind this?
Alger and Cattleya noticed this as well, but the other members did not notice anything amiss with the Hermit's answer.
Odis continued, "In addition, the 'Goddess of Night' also invited the 'God of Spirits,' Thorzna. We've mentioned this deity before; for the people of the Northern Continent, this deity has little presence."
"But He can be traced back to the Second Age, and is a follower of the 'King of the Strange'..."
Klein thought to himself: It seems that the followers of the ancient gods have made great progress in the Third and Fourth Ages. Many of them have become gods, such as the "Goddess of Night" and the "God of War". Those who have not become gods also seem to be very powerful.
Then he thought: Of course, it's also possible that, like the angels that the "hermit" just mentioned, who disappeared into the river of history, those dead gods have long been forgotten.
"...Later, the 'God of Spirits' broke away from the 'Rose of Redemption'," Odis continued without pausing, "and developed his own power in the southern continent, changing his name to ' Bound God '."
Klein nodded: " I've heard of Bound God . Miss Sharon once said that this god seems to have disappeared and hasn't appeared for a long time."
Cattleya and Alger had also heard of this deity, but that was all they had heard of.
Odis concluded, "These are the original members of the 'Redemption Rose,' including three deities: the 'Goddess of Night,' the 'God of War,' and the 'Mother Earth.'"
"There are eight angel kings. Besides the six 'angel kings' who are loyal to the ancient sun god, there are also the 'god of the dead' and the 'god of spirits'."
"Of course, as you should all know from our previous transactions, in later eras, four of these eight beings at the level of Angel Kings became gods."
At this moment, "Little Sun" Derrick said, "'Hermit', could you tell me about 'Dark Angel' Sasriel?"
Everyone looked at the Hermit again. They had just noticed that the Hermit had only mentioned the six Angel Kings briefly, as if he had no intention of explaining the Dark Angels in detail.
Odis thought for a moment, took a deep breath, and said, "We need to wait until the second round of transactions regarding the information from the Third Age to explain this clearly. If we only explain part of it without clarifying it, it will easily cause misunderstandings."
Just as "Little Sun" was about to say that it was fine, Klein manipulated "The World" and said, "Say as much as you can."
"Alright," Odis said. "'Dark Angel' Sasriel is the 'Vice-King of Heaven,' the angel king of the 'Hanged Man' pathway. To a certain extent, He is the current 'True Creator.'"
really!
Everyone thought to themselves in unison!
Klein thought to himself: When this King of Angels was mentioned before, I wondered if He was the "true creator"!
But then he realized: the Hermit said "to a certain extent," meaning that the "True Creator" is not entirely the "Dark Angel"? Or that the "Dark Angel" is not entirely the "True Creator"?
Caldelia and Alger shared similar thoughts with Klein; they all believed that there must be some secret hidden here.
Fors simply thought: of the eight "Kings of Angels," four have become gods; this is practically a "training course for true gods"!
After her initial surprise, Audrey, the "Justice," asked, "'The Hermit,' what was the original intention behind the founding of 'Redemption Rose'? Or rather, what is the purpose of this organization?"
Odis smiled and said, "This is intelligence for the next deal."
"The next transaction will mainly explain the purpose of 'Redemption Rose,' or rather, the purpose of 'Ancient Sun God' in establishing this organization, and the organization's subsequent actions."
Audrey was somewhat disappointed, but at the same time, she looked forward to the next deal coming soon.
Even the usually frugal Klein felt that the gold pounds had been well spent.
After everyone calmed down for about ten seconds, "Sun" Derrick suddenly remembered something and asked the person at the head of the bronze table with some concern, "'Fool', is the key to leaving the 'Forsaken Land' really in the 'Giant's Court'?"
"The Fool" Klein's smile stiffened again: That's what I think, but the problem is, I can't be sure.
However, his past experience with charlatans quickly led Klein to a solution that would not require a direct answer and would not diminish his status as a "fool." He turned to look at Cattleya and said, "Speaking of this, Bernadette already knows how to enter the 'Forsaken Land'."
He was present when Odis and Bernadette discussed the connection between the "Giant's Court" and the "Forsaken Land," which confirmed many of his conjectures.
Cattleya immediately recalled the vague images from her dream: "Was it that projection?"
Klein replied, "It's that projection, the projection of 'The Court of Giants'."
Gadriya exclaimed with delight, "So that was a projection of the 'Giant's Court'!"
"Sun" Derrick took a few seconds to process the conversation between "The Fool" and "The Priestess," and vaguely understood a fact: the key to entering the "Forsaken Land" was related to the projection of the "Giant's Court"! Therefore, the key to leaving the "Wonderful Land" really was the "Giant's Court".
Derrick, somewhat excited, bowed his head and said, "'The Fool,' thank you for your explanation."
Klein quietly breathed a sigh of relief, feeling that this scene was simply too mentally taxing.
Alger the Hanged Man asked, "Where is the projection of the 'Giants' Court'?"
Cattleya made no secret of it: "In the easternmost part of the Sunia Sea, in the dreams of the night."
"I was just about to share some of my observations from this trip with you."
"Justice" Audrey and "Magician" Fors were both very interested and looked at the "Priestess" together, waiting for her to tell the story.
"Northeast of the Gargas Islands, there is a safe passageway leading to that dangerous sea area…" Cattleya began her story from the deep crevice that separated the seawater.
It describes an unseen solar chariot, a night when one must sleep to avoid disappearing, and a projection of the "Giant's Court" located opposite a mountain peak in a dream world.
She made no mention of "Captain Gard" or Gehrman Sparrow during this process, and she only briefly mentioned other unusual events along the way.
In the end, she focused on the sea ruins that concealed huge corpses and the adventurer's sailboat with the words "Fountain of Youth" written in blood.
Cattleya said, "This may mean that the Fountain of Youth is inside that ruin, and the corpse that can emit huge gasps is the guardian."
Alger, the "Hanged Man," was immediately intrigued: "The Fountain of Youth," the legendary "Fountain of Youth" among the six treasures of the sea.
He couldn't help but consider the possibility of exploring that ruin after Sequence 5.
"Justice" Audrey listened attentively, then shook her head slightly and said, "I don't think the ultimate meaning of the blood-written words is that the Fountain of Youth is in those ruins."
After a pause, she tried to do a psychological analysis of the deceased: "A person who has been attacked by a monster and is about to die will not point out the treasure. If he wants to warn his companions or relatives who come looking for him, he should write that there is danger here, or where the danger comes from."
"If his intention was to tell passing ships that there was a 'Fountain of Youth,' he lacked sufficient intrinsic motivation to write something like that while on the verge of death, unless there was a conspiracy hidden within it to lure people to that ruin in search of the 'Fountain of Youth,' and this conspiracy would save him."
Emlyn, the "Moon," chimed in, "Yes, if it were me, I wouldn't desperately try to tell others about the treasure before I die. What's the point for me?"
After marveling at the "psychological analysis" of the "audience," Odis glanced at the "world" and said, "'The Fountain of Youth' is a hoax."
Klein was slightly taken aback: So what if it's a scam? Why look at the "world"?
He never imagined that the reason Odis wanted to see "The World" was because he remembered that these words were announced by "The World" at the Tarot meeting, but "The World" had not reacted at all when the topic was discussed.
After a moment's "recollection," Odis "remembered" that this matter was "originally" told to Klein by the "Mysterious Queen." However, an important butterfly effect of Odis's trip to the "Ruins of the Gods" was that the "Mysterious Queen" spent most of her attention on the "Argo" and on Odis.
Therefore, after confirming Gehrman Sparrow's identity, the "mysterious queen" spent most of her time on the "Argo".
Odis realized that only she could explain this matter to everyone.
