Chapter 94 - Chapter 94 Odis's Inventory

The "magic master" that Odis defeated last week, and Chibman who later chased after Odis, belong to an extraordinary organization called the 3N Party.

The organization has three leaders, one of whom is the highly skilled fighter Chibman.

The leader who led the attack on "Lelouch" today was another leader named Celt. The brown-haired man who interrogated Simon earlier was one of his subordinates.

Selt saw Lelouch enter the house, and soon the gas lights were turned on inside.

After waiting a while longer, when the gas lamp went out, Selt waved his hand and led three armed subordinates quickly to the door.

One of his men kicked the door open, and Selt rushed in first, but as soon as he entered, his foot slipped and he immediately fell downwards.

Fortunately, Celt reacted quickly, twisting his waist in mid-air and half-turning to grab the door frame. With the help of his subordinates pulling him, he managed to get back outside.

Selt looked back and saw that the floor inside the door was normal, with no traps.

Besides, even if there were traps, they should have been broken by now, and there should be obvious signs of collapse!

Selt asked his subordinates, "What did you just see?"

He was puzzled as to why his spiritual sense hadn't detected any danger.

One of his subordinates, Ford, said, "I saw you suddenly drop down and fall into the floor."

"It fell into the floor?" Twenty-seven or twenty-eight-year-old Selt with short hair pondered for a moment, then took the Mitsubishi spike from his subordinate and poked the ground in front of the door with it.

As a result, the Mitsubishi spike pierced through him instantly, but Selt felt as if he hadn't been pricked at all.

"This is a strange trap." Selt poked around with the Mitsubishi spike again, and soon felt the real floor just a little ahead.

After confirming several times, Selt sneered: "Little trick, jump over it!"

Fearing that Lelouch had already escaped by jumping out of the window, Celt took the lead and leaped into the room, landing steadily.

Then he strode towards the stairs, wanting to catch up with "Lelouch".

Ah~

Suddenly, a scream came from behind. Selt turned around and saw his subordinate Ford fall into the floor!

At this point, it was already in the center of the living room, far from the entrance.

At this moment, no one dared to move, fearing that there might be a trap ahead of them.

Fitzgerald, another of Celt's subordinates, said with a slightly trembling voice, "It's a ghost!"

As if to echo this statement, a cool breeze suddenly swept through the empty living room, and one could faintly hear the sound of weeping.

Selt realized that this trap was not simple, and the atmosphere around him was obviously wrong, so he said, "Go back the way we came."

He planned to set the fire directly to force "Lelouch" out.

For extraordinary individuals, ordinary ghosts are not something to fear.

Just as they were backing away, a blood-soaked hand suddenly emerged from the middle of the floor, startling the three extraordinary individuals. Then, another hand reached out.

Selt realized: "It's Ford!"

Fitzgerald quickly reached out to pull him up, and sure enough, he pulled up a man covered in blood.

By the dim light, Selt saw that the person being pulled up was indeed Ford. Just as he was about to ask Ford what had happened, he suddenly saw that Tutter's expression was ferocious, and his eyes only had whites but no pupils.

Selt immediately warned, "Let him go!"

But it was too late. Ford pounced and bit Fitzgerald's shoulder, who was holding him.

Fitzgerald cried out in pain and tried to pry Ford's head open, but he couldn't.

Selt quickly stepped forward, reached out and crushed Ford's jaw to separate the two.

Fitzgerald's shoulder was already a bloody mess from being bitten. He pulled out his dagger and said viciously to Ford, "You're insane!"

But he soon realized that something was wrong with Ford; the guy was making inhuman noises and was rushing at others again to bite them.

Selt kicked Ford away and immediately said, "Let's go!"

Ford had turned into a zombie, even though he had only been out of sight for a short while!

There's a problem here, a really big problem!

But just as they took a step back, the door they had kicked open was slammed shut by a tremendous force from who-knows-where.

Celt and the others sensed that not only was the door closed, but there seemed to be a "spiritual wall" separating the inside from the outside.

At the same time, the ceiling above suddenly lit up with a pale white light, and eight white skeletons emerged from the pale white light. They were suspended by an invisible force and quickly descended to the ground.

The eight skeletons all had red eyes that gleamed and held weapons in their hands. The red light was like eerie eyes, coldly staring at Celt and the others!

It's a skeleton warrior!

Fitzgerald and the brown-haired man, Grant, were a little nervous. They were frequent participants in fighting competitions and had no shortage of combat experience, but they rarely dealt with undead creatures like this.

"Don't be afraid!" Celt said. "These skeleton warriors are very weak!"

As he spoke, he looked up at the second floor. He knew that Lelouch was hiding somewhere upstairs, controlling everything.

The skeleton warriors began charging at the living creatures in the house. Selt put on his boxing gloves and kicked Ford, the zombie who was charging again, into the skeleton warriors, completing the "bribery" process.

Then Selt raised his hand and said, "Weaken!"

The pale light on the eight skeleton warriors disappeared at a visible speed, their bones turned yellow and developed small holes, as if they had suddenly become osteoporotic.

Selt lunged forward, smashing a skeleton warrior with a single punch, and charged towards the stairs.

Seeing how easily the skeleton warriors were dealt with, his two subordinates also picked up their weapons and fought them.

Shelter was very careful when he took his first step up the stairs. Only after he felt that he had not missed a step did he breathe a sigh of relief and continue to climb.

This is the kind of staircase that is divided into two sections, with a small turning platform in the middle that separates the staircase into the upper and lower sections.

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!

After reaching the small platform in the middle, Selt turned to the side, about to step onto the upper half of the stairs to continue going upstairs, only to find that he was actually facing the lower half of the stairs going down.

He was slightly dazed, trying hard to recall if he had turned to the side just now.

Did I turn wrong? Did I turn left and end up turning around?

Selt turned his head and saw that the upper half of the stairs was on his side. He turned around again in that direction, but what he saw in front of him was still the lower half of the stairs going down!

This made Celt, a Sequence 7 "briber," feel uneasy. As an extraordinary being of his level, he had certainly heard stories of extraordinary beings encountering evil spirits.

It is said that some evil spirits possess terrifying abilities, capable of keeping extraordinary individuals trapped in a very small circle, never able to escape, until the extraordinary individual is exhausted, at which point the evil spirit will devour the extraordinary individual's soul.

But... but Lelouch isn't an evil spirit!

"Ah! Help!"

A cry for help came from downstairs. Selt saw that the skeleton warrior had been defeated, but suddenly a red, monstrous mouth appeared on the roof of the first floor, with scarlet suckers and sharp teeth inside.

At this moment, the strange mouth was making a "sucking" motion, and Fitzgerald's shoulder injury suddenly turned outward, with blood gushing out like a fountain, and finally the blood column fell into the mouth of the red strange mouth.

With slightly trembling hands, Glenn, who had brown hair, pressed on Fitzgerald's wound.

It's no wonder Gran had poor mental fortitude; he had never seen such a bizarre monster or such a strange way of attack.

Selt lifted his leg, ready to go downstairs to rescue, but a moment later, what appeared in front of Selt was the upper half of the stairs!

He's trapped here! Trapped on the small platform in the middle by a strange force!

At this point, Fitzgerald's voice was very weak and unrecognizable, and his muscles were rapidly collapsing.

The pressure from the press did not have much effect at all.

Seeing his companion turned into a dried corpse before his eyes, Gran trembled as he rose, his eyes glazed over: "The underworld...this must be the underworld...this monster must have come from the underworld...turning this place into the underworld...this is no place for the living..."

At that moment, the zombie Ford pounced on Glen, tearing at his former companion.

Fortunately, Celt had crushed the zombie's jaw, so he hadn't caused Gran too much damage. But this seemed to be the last straw for Gran. He screamed wildly, threw the zombie off his back, smashed open the window, and jumped out.

Immediately afterwards, Celt on the stairs realized that Odis had deliberately let Gran go because he felt someone watching him.

This means that Odis has focused all his attention on him!

Selt cheered himself up: "It's just a Sequence 8."

He had already figured out a way to break free from the power that was trapping him. He suddenly jumped up, grabbed the second-floor railing, and used his arms to reach the second floor.

The second floor has a small living room and a short corridor with two rooms on each side.

At the end of the corridor, a dark figure was crouching on the ground, one hand touching the ground.

The ground was covered with haphazard lines and symbols, and it was impossible to tell what they were.

After Celt went upstairs, the shadowy figure looked up and revealed himself to be "Lelouch," wearing a mask and an old black coat.

Selt said coldly, "So it was you who was behind this!"

He glanced again at the lines and strange symbols beneath his feet, wondering how Lelouch had created those traps. Just with these lines and symbols?

"Wasn't everything just now quite terrifying?" Odis smiled and said, "That's because when I was making these arrangements, I was researching the abilities of the underworld and the 'Death God' pathway."

"Now, it's just you and me left. Before you die, I'll make you understand what you just went through."
