In leila's room she was sleeping unaware what is happening outside .with loud thud her door flew open.she woke up to the sound of the thud,ready face whatever punishment about to happened . standing on the door was non other than carmine himself. tall ,towering figure that around 6'3 looking straight into her soul
As the door burst opened all carmine saw was the sleepy figure that lazily getting up and look at his face and completely went numb on the spot.All he saw is a tiny figure that has the exact same look he was searching for

Leila is in her pajama with her messy hair that make Carmine heart swell, this the look he want to before leaving for and coming back to the home
without much thought he eat up the distance between him and Leila.he tower over her not with rage but with a swell of heart that couldn't give a right name for the feeling.He look down at the small figure that looking at him with round doe eyes,still in pajama. with victor's approval Carmine stood up holding leila on his hand.Leila's hand unconsciously went to his neck encircling around him like a belt.as he stood up others eyes went wide.''wait-''Victor opened his mouth to protest 100% knowing what Carmine was about to do '' she's going with me today and she'll stay in my guest room till we get married'' he stated sternly ''that's not appropriate'' Victor was trying to his final cards making Leila stay with them until the wedding so they can make a way to make her out of the picture .
Carmine walk out the study room back to Leila's room,once inside he set her down..... '' pack what important in fifteen minutes, few clothes will be enough for now until I buy you new ones'' he states sternly but less demanding Leila was still composing herself recovering what happened in the study room
In next few minutes Leila did as he said packing what she needed,part of her is happy since she get to leave the hell hole she lived but the bigger part of her was terrified what was about to happened next, she's about to get into a whole new world that she know nothing about.
simply Leila was stuck in the mansion since she was fifteen, no friends, no going out, no school, no social media this all happened because when she get attention Milly felt uncomfortable so Victor played the best dad role to Milly by making Leila quit the school,whenever someone ask about why Leila quit he'd say she's going through a phase that she's colecting herself while attending to homeschooling in real she did none. since that day Milly used her as her personal maid saying 'if she behave well she'll ask dad to let her go school again' Leila was desperate to go to school since it was her only escape so she did whatever Milly asked, did her laundry in real maid was the real one to assigned for that, completed her assignments , cleaned her room , cover for her when she sneak out at night, she did every thing but Milly never asked Victor about letting Leila continue school.All she did was planting more poison in his head tell every little mistake she made.gg over her. '' you done?'' Leila just simply nod not trusting her mouth would spit a single word ''good, now follow me'' he took her bag from her hand walking out , she followed him few steps behind,as she left the main door she turn around there's no one to say good bye,she felt sorrow yet relief. she turn back took few steps ahead and saw Carmine was waiting near by the car
'' it's better they're not here to say goodbye, since they never welcomed you''she felt a sharp pang with the realization that they never welcomed her into this house,they simply took her in since whole country new Victor and mellonore having a second baby a she died during the child birth, Victor took her in partly because Leila had the same familiar apearearance, it's the same reason why he hate her so much
Leila took few more steps ahead as Carmine opened the door to the backseat,this was the first time someone opened a door for her in her whole life. she get in with bowing her head giving her respect back Carmine followed her in after a second simply demanding driver to start the engine as their car pulled out of Wintose mansion he tangled her fingers with hers
