Song Yue's eyes widened the moment she saw the man standing on the podium.

Sunlight streamed in through the tall windows, catching in Li Meiran's strange hazel pupils and making them gleam with a dangerous, almost mesmerizing charm. His brown-red hair framed a face that was pale to the point of translucence, as if it carried a faint sheen of moisture. It was the kind of beauty that made people jealous before they even realized it.

She didn't bother with pleasantries.

"Duke Li Meiran," Song Yue asked bluntly, "did you walk into the wrong classroom?"

If she could expose him quickly, maybe he'd leave just as quickly.

Li Meiran casually shook the book in his hand. "School textbook. Etiquette education." His lips curved faintly. "I don't think I'm in the wrong place."

The moment his voice fell, the classroom erupted.

Shrill gasps. Excited whispers. Barely restrained screams.
