Moira came out of her thoughts and immediately returned the smile.
"Ah, yes. Of course, Lady Kiara. Since you'll only be staying here for a few months, we don't have much time. We should begin your lessons tomorrow. We'll start with palace etiquette and the basic rules you need to know."
Kiara nodded, though she didn't seem particularly concerned about the etiquette lessons.
"I can learn those things with time. But first, I need to learn dancing."
She glanced at Scarlett.
"Scarlett promised to teach me, but since you'll be teaching me anyway, I hope you can help me prepare for the ball held on the day of the Royal Banquet."
Moira blinked twice, slightly surprised by the request. She had expected Kiara to be more concerned about etiquette, especially considering how little regard she seemed to have for palace customs.
"Dancing?" she repeated.
"Yes. I don't want to embarrass myself at the ball."
