As cecin stood there, surrounded by those creatures while he held the little girl.
the only thing he could do is turn around and not face them while they looked at them.
as soon as he turned around, he tried to calm himself and looked at the girl. and tried to ask her, "a-are you okay, kid?". but the girl just kept shaking in his arms and crying quietly.
cecin could not do much but just sit there hopelessly... wishing for the creatures to away soon.. until as the morning came, he turned back to see nothing but...
a road full headless people's bodies around them. seeing that.. only his past trauma was what could keep him sane. and he knew who's doing was it.
so with the girl still in his arms. he ran. and ran. and ran until he reached his place. a little apartment. and quickly locked the doors after placing the little girl on his couch. then he came and sat beside the kid. and just lowered his head.
"look kid.. I know that what's happening is far from what we can understand. I know you are in absolute fear.... but at least you got me. I am here to protect you till I can okay? so try to calm down alright? big bro cecin is right he-"
before he could say anything more, the girl threw herself at him and cried loudly.
in too much pain and sadness to even speak.. but she kept saying one thing like a mantra... "big bro cecin.. big bro cecin..."
and cecin knew that now.. he was the only one she had... and even though it was all a traumatic hazard. he felt a strange sense of relatability and happiness for the girl.
because the girl had someone now for her childhood without her parents, rather than him who had nothing but sufferings behind his past.
