Changbai Mountain—a world draped in silver, where the snow remains through all four seasons. From ten thousand meters above, Kaito looked down from the airplane window. The rolling peaks resembled a white velvet blanket woven by nature itself.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Kaito murmured.
"Cleffa~" Mime Jr. pressed his face against the glass, captivated. Born in the temperate Qinglin Mountain, the little clown had never seen ice and snow.
After landing, Kaito met Liu Xuan, who was bundled up in a wool coat and a Sewaddle-brand knitted hat. The temperature difference was staggering. To reach the city, they rented a Cetitan.
In the north, these massive, muscular Pokémon replace the Gogoat seen in the south. As the Cetitan stomped through the powder, fluffy snow landed on Liu Xuan's shoulder, and Mime Jr. giggled as his warm breath turned into visible mist.
The Market and the Snowball War
They visited the local market, a bustling sea of vendors showcasing northern specialties. Bunnelby was immediately drawn to a stall selling Snover's Berries, which taste like natural popsicles.
Kaito browsed the wares: Crabominable claws, Aspear Berries for frostbite, and high-quality Snom silk clothing that remains warm in winter and cool in summer. Liu Xuan bought a bag of Berry Powder from a kind woman whose Lechonk sniffed out rare medicinal herbs like Energy Roots in the snow.
The next day, they officially began their ascent. The pine trees stood tall, heavy with white burdens.
Bang! A snowball hit Psyduck.
"Ga?" The duck looked over to see Bunnelby snickering. Psyduck scooped up a massive chunk of snow, and soon it was a three-way war between Bunnelby, Psyduck, and Wartortle.
Kaito watched, riding atop Arcanine. The Fire-type's fluffy fur provided a perfect, warm seat, melting the snow beneath his paws as they galloped.
The system notified:

The Rivalry in the Slope
Deep in the mountains, they stumbled upon a brawl between Galarian Darmanitan and Abomasnow. The Darmanitan used their frozen head-snowballs for Headbutt attacks, while an Abomasnow slammed a massive Wood Hammer into the drift.
One Darmanitan took a heavy blow and transformed into Zen Mode, spewing Flamethrower that turned the snow to steam. Kaito intervened, unleashing his Power of Life. The green energy surged through the ice, healing the combatants and calming their hearts.
It was a misunderstanding: Abomasnow thought a Galarian Darumaka was attacking its Snover, when the little monkey just wanted to share a berry. Kaito invited the groups to join his farm—either in a climate-controlled zone or the Hisui Secret Realm. They agreed.
"Is there anything special nearby?" Kaito asked the leader.
The Abomasnow pointed toward a distant plain. There was a legendary "Cold Stone" there, surrounded by rare fruit trees, but it was currently occupied by a fierce "Dragon from the depths."
The Ice Dragon Arrives
Kaito and Liu Xuan headed in that direction. On the snow-covered plain, a domineering figure stood on two feet, its deep blue skin and ice-like belly scales gleaming.
Baxcalibur!
Next to the Pseudo-Legendary was a peculiar, glowing blue rock: a Frost Rock!
As Kaito stepped onto the plain, a pair of ancient eyes deep within the mountain's core snapped open before closing once more.
"Past... Future..."
Kaito has found a Baxcalibur guarding the Frost Rock! With the potential for a Glaceon evolution and a new Pseudo-Legendary within reach, will Kaito capture this icy titan, or will the "Secret of Changbai Mountain" reveal a much larger threat?
