High-end Breeders often charge a premium for "targeted breeding," but Kaito's abilities allowed him to analyze a Pokémon's unique needs instantly. This wasn't just food; it was a biological optimizer.
Satisfied, Kaito closed his laptop and vanished.
In the Hisui Secret Realm, the air was cool and the river gurgled softly. Kaito had brought Gardevoir here for her final breakthrough to avoid causing a massive commotion back home.
After two months of rigorous training and gourmet nutrition, Gardevoir had reached Level 79. Kaito pulled out a Twisted Spoon.
"Take it," he said gently. "Move toward your initial dream."
Gardevoir closed her eyes, recalling her journey from a tiny Ralts to Kaito's side. Her only wish was to be his ace—his Joker. As she accepted the treasure, a dense pink light erupted, and a terrifying Psychic pressure crushed the ground beneath her.

An endless pillar of pink energy shot into the Hisuian sky, causing wild Pokémon for miles to flee in terror. Kaito watched his first Champion-tier partner with pride.

A God's Egg... what Legend lies within? Kaito wondered.
Back at the villa, autumn was in the air. Leafeon's refreshing grass scent calmed everyone's minds. Suddenly, the ground trembled.
Torterra was on the move. Following Bunnelby's idea, the massive turtle had become a "sightseeing bus." Psyduck, Cinccino, and even Arina were perched on its back, enjoying the view of the flower fields and orchards.
"Would you like to come up too?" Arina reached out a hand. Kaito climbed up, and they spent the afternoon drifting through the farm like a mobile fortress. This was Torterra's dream—to be a playground where everyone could be together.
That night, the villa was warm and peaceful. Sylveon claimed Kaito's lap before Cinccino could, much to the latter's indignation. Mime Jr. sat nearby, mimicking Cinccino's pouting face perfectly.
Arina shared a peeled Liechi Berry with Bunnelby. Her newly hatched Piplup tried to be proud and independent, refusing help until it slipped and bumped its head. Meganium quickly healed the crying penguin, whose pride was far more injured than its forehead.
Late that night, Kaito returned to the Hisui Secret Realm on Reshiram. He landed in the Rock Mountain Region near a dark cave.
A group of Machoke and Machop were being ambushed by a swarm of Golbat and Zubat. The Fighting-types struggled against the flying phantoms. Among them was the tiny Chimchar from before. It threw a stone with all its might, but it fell short.
Reshiram's aura descended like a hammer, grounding the bats instantly. Kaito walked into the cave, retrieved a Dusk Stone marked on his map, and prepared to leave.
Suddenly, a small hand tugged his pant leg. The stunted Chimchar looked up at him with eyes burning like coals.
"Chirp!" It wanted to follow him.
Kaito checked its status. It was full of congenital deficiencies—none of its IVs were maxed, and its potential was only Excellent Level. Yet, its determination was unlike anything Kaito had seen.
"My training is very demanding," Kaito warned.
Chimchar didn't flinch. It wasn't afraid of sweat; it was only afraid of remaining weak.
"Alright," Kaito smiled. "From today on, you're with me."
Kaito has his first Champion-tier Pokémon and a new, underdog Chimchar! With the God's Egg waiting to hatch and the Exp. Share ready to use, will Kaito focus on overcoming Chimchar's physical limits, or will he turn his attention to the mysterious Dusk Stone he just found?
