The auction moved at a brisk pace. The no-level-restriction Legendary gear and three God-tier scrolls that Kalis had sold outright to Magnus soon entered the bidding phase.
Among them, the [Divine Assassination Scroll] fetched the lowest price, ultimately selling for 85,000 gold coins. The two no-level-restriction Legendary weapons [Dusk Dagger] and [Frost Blade], along with an Epic skill book [Phantom Gale], all sold for around 150,000 gold coins each. The strategically significant [Crimson Domain Scroll], however, was hammered down at a high price of 220,000 gold coins.

Spending tens of millions of real-world currency just to get a guild residence a few hours earlier was simply not worthwhile.
Only Oath of Sky Guild had deep pockets. They had previously offered a 100 million gold coin bounty for the first guild residence token. Even now, for just the third one, an investment of tens of millions was still well within their means.

Zevran's face instantly turned ashen.
"It's already 88 million. If we go higher, it will break 90 million..." His vice guild master Vaelen whispered in persuasion. "Guild master, it's unwise to compete head-on with the Oath of Sky Guild. Offending them will be extremely detrimental to the guild's future development."
Falric echoed the sentiment. "Yes, guild master! This residence token was originally sold by that Kalis guy. There's no need for us to drive up the price for him!"
"I know! But we have no choice!" Zevran gritted his teeth and said to the two. "The guild suffered a heavy blow yesterday. If we don't get this residence token, we'll never be able to restore the members' cohesion and morale! For the guild's long-term development, this money must be spent!"
As soon as he finished speaking, he activated his [Crystal Bidding Orb] again. "9,000 tokens!"

Zevran was overjoyed at successfully securing the residence token. After saying a word to his companions beside him, he directly crushed a [Return Scroll], and his figure disappeared from the auction hall in an instant.
