Chapter 54 - Bonus Chapter 52: Hulk's Rampage

since we got to 80 power stones here is the first bonus chapter.

...

The drastic change came too suddenly. One moment, everyone was celebrating successfully bringing Banner into S.H.I.E.L.D.; the next, they watched Banner get shot in the head and collapse before their eyes.

They could even see the unfaded smile still lingering on Banner's face.

This was a blatant slap in the face—to him, the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D.!

S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters.

Bang!

Nick Fury, who had been monitoring the mission's progress, slammed his hand on the table. His face was so dark it almost reflected light, radiating pure killing intent.

"Team A, move out immediately! Find the murderer who fired that shot! S.H.I.E.L.D. does not accept the surrender of terrorists!"

Nick Fury's words immediately labeled the perpetrator as a "murderer" and "terrorist," and his declaration of no surrender showed just how furious he was.

"Yes, sir!"

On-site.

The Agents of Team A moved the instant the order came through. "S.H.I.E.L.D. does not accept surrender from terrorists" meant one thing: find the culprit and execute him on the spot.

Even without Nick Fury's command, they were already filled with murderous intent.

Recruiting the Hulk was a high-risk mission, equivalent to tying one's head to one's belt—death could come at any moment.

But high risk meant high reward. Completing the mission might earn them exceptional merit, leading to promotions and wealth.

If there had been no hope, they could accept that. But the mission was moments away from success, only to be ruined at the last second.

To block someone's path to fortune is worse than killing their parents. Everyone in the special ops team now had murder in their eyes.

Just as the Agents began a carpet search of the surroundings, Nick Fury's expression suddenly changed.

"Agent Romanoff, retreat immediately! Do you copy? Retreat now!"

Nick Fury reacted instantly, ordering Natasha to pull back.

Unlike the gentle and reasonable Banner, a berserk Hulk was terrifying even to himself.

But it was already too late!

With a roar, Banner—who had just been shot in the head—began swelling, his body rapidly bulking up and turning green. His shoes, socks, and shirt burst apart instantly; only his pants remained intact.

Gebang College had a large number of teachers and students.

The gunshots had already caused panic.

The sudden appearance of a giant green monster instantly pushed the chaos to the limit. Countless pedestrians screamed and fled in all directions.

At the edge of life and death, who cared about order or traffic rules? Pushing, trampling, and car accidents erupted everywhere, throwing the entire campus into chaos.

"ROAR!"

Hulk roared at Natasha. The shockwave rolled out like a Category 10 hurricane, whipping Natasha's clothes and skirt violently. For a moment, she couldn't even open her eyes.

Facing Hulk directly, Natasha was completely stunned. Her mind blanked, and her body stiffened.

Unless one experienced it personally, one could never truly understand Hulk's terror.

His enormous height, explosive muscles, monstrous strength, and ferocious face were absolute, overwhelming pressure—the kind that crushed one's instinct for survival.

Banner had spent years suppressing Hulk. Although Hulk had existed for over two years, his intelligence remained extremely low.

He was like an irritable infant—with overwhelming strength, primal instincts, and a single-minded desire for destruction.

Being shot in the head hurt beyond imagination. At that moment, Hulk had only one thought:

Destroy.

Destroy everything in front of him.

When Hulk saw Natasha, his simple mind immediately concluded that she had deceived him.

In Hulk's eyes, there was no such thing as "cherishing women." He swung his fist without hesitation.

The giant fist grew larger and larger in Natasha's vision. The sense of death pressed down so heavily it choked her breath.

But Natasha, as an elite Agent, had great adaptability.

Even though her body was stiff, at the last critical moment she managed to roll, escaping Hulk's punch in a messy but lifesaving tumble.

BOOM!

Hulk's fist slammed into the wall behind her. The entire wall exploded, bricks flying everywhere as dust filled the air.

"Run!"

After regaining control of her body, Natasha bolted down a narrow corridor without looking back, with Hulk charging after her.

The entire corridor was destroyed in seconds. Hulk rampaged like a high-speed, out-of-control armored tank, everything in his path collapsing instantly.

Everything had happened too quickly. When Hulk started chasing Natasha, Betty finally snapped out of the shock of seeing Banner get shot.

Seeing Hulk relentlessly pursuing Natasha and smashing everything in his way, Betty repeatedly cried "Bruce!" hoping to awaken Banner's consciousness.

But Banner's raging fury couldn't be suppressed that easily.

That he still retained enough clarity to not punch Betty was already the limit.

The desperate chase continued. Natasha switched between parkour master and escape artist, constantly flirting with death at every turn.

In the monitoring room, Nick Fury immediately ordered Team B to move in and support Natasha. But even elite Agents couldn't appear instantly.

Natasha had fled deeper into the campus, farther from Team B's deployment area.

Moreover, when facing Hulk, without a proper heavy-hitter, no Agent would recklessly throw themselves in.

In short, whether Natasha would escape death—continuing to enjoy life—or die at Hulk's hands, for now, depended solely on her own fate.

Meanwhile, as Natasha desperately fled, Bronski—who had just shot Banner—received new orders.

"Soldier, excellent work. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents are moving toward your ambush location. Evacuate immediately!"

Bronski retreated while speaking into his earpiece. "Understood. I've successfully drawn Hulk out. Requesting permission to proceed with the next phase of capturing Hulk!"

General Ross: "Soldier, there's no rush. I have another crucial mission for you."

General Ross informed Bronski of Mr. Blue's identity and ordered him to go to the Academy immediately to arrest Mr. Blue and seize Banner's blood samples and research data.

Bronski was initially frustrated that he wasn't allowed to go after the Hulk, but when he learned Mr. Blue held Hulk's blood and research, he was instantly tempted.

After two injections of the serum, Bronski was already addicted to the feeling.

"Understood, General. I'll definitely bring you Hulk's blood and power!"

Bronski licked his lips, a sinister smile spreading across his face.

"Good, good! Bronski, you truly are my finest soldier. Go!"

Hanging up, General Ross was very satisfied.

S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents were currently being beaten senseless by Hulk, the recruitment plan had collapsed, and Mr. Blue's research would soon be in his hands.

Everything related to the Hulk remained his and his alone.

Everything was progressing beautifully. General Ross felt extremely pleased; even the current chaos seemed like a wonderful scene to behold.

Long Island Villa.

The moment Rimuru learned from Aiya that Hulk was rampaging and chasing Natasha relentlessly, she blurted out:

"Holy crap!"

Without hesitation, she put on Wind God II and flew straight toward Gebang College.

If you ask her for a reason—there was no need for a reason.

You don't need a reason to save someone!
