Chapter 1 - CHAPTER - 1 "AYRA'S Intro"

"THE AYRA INTRO"

Morning beamed with a soft golden light, gently filling the house with warmth.Every corner of the home felt alive and peaceful, glowing like it had just awakened.Above it all, the sky stretched wide and calm, painted with a beautiful, welcoming blue.

A Small House and there is a Car and a Bicycle at the parking Area.

The Morning is peaceful and sun is rising brightly. A man who is preparing Break fast for his daughter and sees the time it is Already 8;30.

'I should wake my daughter, Ayra"

Ayra is the kind of girl whose smile could light up a room—happy-go-lucky, gentle, innocent, and always wearing her heart right on her sleeve. That morning, she slept peacefully curled up under her soft blanket, unaware of the storm waiting in her day.

Her alarm clock suddenly burst to life:"It's 8 o'clock!"

Ayra groaned, turned it off, and pulled the blanket over her head again. But then—her phone began yelling in a teasing, sing-song voice:

"It's 8:30! Wake up! You lazy girl… you will be a lazy girl forever!"

Ayra pressed her hands against her ears and shut the phone off with frustration. Before she could catch her breath, her phone rang again—this time it was her best friend, Preethi.

But the person who finally reached her was her father, Peter Johnson. He entered with a warm smile, carrying a tray of hot chocolate milk and pancakes. The sight of his daughter still sleeping during college hours made him chuckle lovingly.

He gently lifted the blanket and tapped her forehead.

"Get up, Ayra. It's college time."

Ayra sat up lazily, stretching her arms and legs, her night-shirt with a smiley face drooping around her.Her father reminded her,

He will shout on you and "You must reach before 9:10. Your PP Sir w again."

Ayra rubbed her sleepy eyes—And suddenly imagined her Zoology professor, PP Sir, towering over her:

"AYRA! LATE AGAIN?YOU WILL NEVER GET GOOD MARKS!GET OUT OF MY CLASS, YOU LAZY DULLER!"

She snapped back to reality in horror.

Her father burst out laughing.Ayra frowned,

"Don't laugh at me, Dad…"

But then she glanced at her teddy-shaped watch.

8:32 AM.

Her soul left her body.

She sprang out of bed and rushed to the bathroom. Within minutes she brushed, took a quick shower with her Lavender-Jasmine shampoo, wrapped herself in a bathrobe, and changed into her college uniform—blue jacket, white shirt, white pants, and a red tie.

She tied her hair into a neat pony, wore her glasses, applied a little cream and powder, put on her watch, gulped her hot chocolate, packed the pancakes, grabbed her ID card, wallet, bag, and bicycle keys.

She paused a moment at her ID card.

Ayra Peter Johnson –Age: 20 –B.Tech 2nd Year – A Section

Her photo looked darker than her real complexion.

"Ugh… why do I look like this?" she sighed.

Outside, her father locked the house and asked gently,

"Want me to drop you in the car?"

Ayra smiled softly.

"No, Dad. It's my mistake I'm late. And if I get punished, it's okay. Punishments teach lessons."

Her father offered,

"I can buy you a scooty with my savings…"

Ayra placed her blue helmet on and spoke from her heart:

"Dad… you already do so much.I didn't get a free seat like Preethi. You joined me in this college for my happiness. You run a library and even took a loan.I don't want a scooty or car rides. My pink bicycle makes me feel like a QUEEN."

Her father's eyes filled with pride.

They hugged."I love you, Dad.""I love you too, darling."

Before riding away, Ayra opened the tiny golden heart locket around her neck. Inside was her mother Emily's photo—beautiful, holding baby Ayra in her arms.

"I miss you, Mom…"

With that, Ayra zoomed off and reached college by 9:05 AM.

Preethi arrived in her BMW, looking perfect as always.

"You came early! Maybe no scolding today," she said, hugging Ayra.

But then Reena, her classmate, approached with a sweet voice:

"Ayra… can you do me a favour? Please submit these five library books. If I delay, I'll get fined… and my leg hurts…"

She showed a bandage.

Ayra hesitated.

Preethi snapped,"No, Ayra! Come to class! PP Sir warned you!"

But Ayra's soft heart couldn't refuse a friend.

"Okay, I'll go."

Preethi walked away angrily.

Ayra rushed to the library…But the librarian Mr Paul arrived late. She ended up waiting 11 minutes.

When she submitted the books, he frowned.

"Why are you giving these?Reena still has two weeks left."

Ayra stood frozen.

Time: 9:11 AM.

She ran to class, sweating and out of breath.

PP Sir was already taking attendance.

Silence fell as Ayra appeared at the door.

He glared.

"Ayra… I warned you. You don't study, you fight with friends, you fail exams, you lie—"

Ayra tried to speak,"I came early sir! I just helped Reena—"

"SHUT UP!"

He asked Reena:

"Is this true?"

Reena stood up calmly.

"Ayra is lying, sir. I'm not injured. I never asked her. She took the books herself."

The class gasped.

Ayra's mouth fell open.

Students whispered:

"Ayra is a liar…""Ayra failed PP exam… only 11 marks…""Preethi is topper with 95…""No wonder…"

PP Sir cut her attendance and thundered:

"GET OUT!"

Ayra stepped outside, tears stinging her eyes as Reena secretly smirked in victory.

For one whole hour she stood in the corridor while whispers echoed around her.

After class, Ayra ran to the washroom. Reena followed, pretending concern—until she whispered venom into Ayra's ear:

"I lied.I used you.You're a pathetic loser, Ayra.Why would I ever be your friend?"

She tore the fake bandage off—there was no wound.

Ayra's tears blurred her vision.

She stepped out only to hear more gossip.More judgement.More cruelty.

Her heart sank.

She returned to the washroom, opened her mother's locket, and dropped to her knees. Tears splashed onto the floor.

"Mom… I didn't do anything wrong. Why does everyone blame me?Why is my destiny like this?"

And in that lonely moment…Ayra broke—and something inside her began to change.
