Jay 's POV
Morning. I hate mornings, but I have to wake up. I have school today, and I only slept three hours ago. beacause , I'm doing my work late night.
"Jay, wake up! We'll be late for school again because of you. Come for breakfast!" Aries said.
"Yes, coming!" I replied.
I don't know why, but I'm feeling really strange—like something is going to happen today. I can't explain it. But I have to go to school; otherwise, Kuya will kill me. So, I put the thought aside, take a quick bath, get ready for school in five minutes, and ignore my mismatched socks.
I still don't know why I feel this way.
After having my breakfast, When I was walking to the Section E building, I don't know why, but I still wasn't feeling good. The unusual silence made me uneasy.
When I entered the class, there was no one there. Then, I heard someone arguing about something from the first floor. I thought maybe they were planning a prank for me , when I came in, so I quickly hide and started listening to their conversation.
"We have to tell her the truth now," Cin said.
"Yes. She's really falling for you, Keifer," David added.
"She trusts us so much. What will happen when she finds out about the plan?" Felix asked.
"She'll forgive us if we tell her the truth," Kit said.
"No, she'll hate us," Blaster replied firmly.
Are they… talking about me? Jay thought.
They must be talking about me. I'm the only girl among them… but what plan?
As I listened to their conversation, I don't know why, but I felt so scared. Before I even realized it, tears were running down my face. What is this plan?
Keifer stand in front of them , emotionless , made me more scared.
Author 's POV
"When Jay came out of her hiding place, everyone was shocked to see her."
What's the plan keifer?. jay asked
What's the plan? jay asked everyone
"You really want to know?" Keifer said.
"Yes, Keifer… please, just say it," Jay replied.
"I used you to get back at your cousin—sorry, sorry… your brother," Keifer admitted.
"Jay froze in shock — her knees buckled, her breath hitched, and her hands trembled as if the ground had slipped away beneath her."
What?? Jay said
"The sting of betrayal cut deeper than any wound Jay had ever felt.
