Chapter 1 - Summoned by the White Dragon Goddess

The White dragon goddess and the fallen youth

My name is Akira.

Just a regular dude.

well… not everyone sees me that way.

At an age where people of my age were busy with parties, dating, or wasting time, I joined politics.

I formed a political party called Youth of the Nation with a dream to change this country, to make it rise to the top.

But like most youth-driven visions, ours was crushed.

I was the leader. Sometimes I still feel guilty that I couldn't manage it. Before the elections, the potential in my people was noted by a bigger party. Instead of allying, they bought them out with money.

When I argued with them—

"Why buy them? Why not work with us as allies?"

They called me naive, saying my goals weren't realistic, not achievable.

That hurts more than actually losing.

I had already lost my parents when I was young and grew up in an orphanage. My goal was simple:

Give a home to every orphan.

Give employment to all.

Make my country the greatest in the world.

But the elections came, and we didn't win a single seat. My members left, found jobs, moved on.

But I didn't move on.

Nevertheless, I wanted to try again. Create another party.

Just when I was thinking about it….I slipped on the road.

A car ran into me.

Blood everywhere, pain stabbing all over.

"Why… why is this happening to me?"

"I trusted people. They betrayed me."

"People ridiculed me."

"I hate all of you who never believed in me."

"I'll prove my resilience— I'll conquer the world—"

I laughed at myself.

"What am I even saying? I'm about to die. I couldn't even do anything.

Darkness swallowed me.

I opened my eyes to find everything white—white clouds stretching to infinity.

A beautiful girl, clad in white, sat facing me.

"What the hell… where am I?"

"You are in heaven," she whispered. "But not the heaven of your universe.

Oh. so it really is an isekai, I thought.

She smiled. "Humans from your world call it isekai. Before anything else, let me introduce myself. I am Blanch, Goddess of the White Dragon. Among Dragon Goddesses, there are three of us."

I asked, "Why did you bring me here?

Blanch raised her hand. "Before I answer, you need to understand this world. I'll show you everything first."

She touched my forehead.

She whispered, as my consciousness faded.

"Sweet dreams, Akira."

Visions came pouring in.

This world consists of five Empires and five Kingdoms.

The Five Empires

1. Human Empire

Home of humans.

Originally divided into two kingdoms:

Sun Kingdom, who worship the Sun Goddess

Moon Kingdom, who worship the Moon Goddess

Their beliefs conflicted. They were polar opposites, at war with one another.

But they had to unite when other races attacked.

And now, even the Goddesses of the Sun and Moon are allies.

They are the strongest duo currently in the God Realm, because…

The more followers one has, the more powerful a Goddess will be.

2. Aqua Empire

Most of the world's oceans belong to them.

They had been many tribes, but the strongest sea race—the Mermaids—conquered all the tribes and united them.

They worship the Sea Goddess and are very powerful.

Their king is called the Mermaid King.

3. Earth Empire

Not militarily the strongest, but with the biggest population.

They adapt extremely well and are closest to the element of Earth.

They worship the Earth Goddess.

Their traps and defenses are very strong, while other empires are not able to attack them so easily.

4. Demon Empire

Contrary to what anime shows, demons here are peaceful.

Their national policy: "We won't attack unless attacked."

They have no official Goddess, and citizens may worship anyone they like.

Their culture is very similar to Earth:

They are ruled by the Demon Lord.

5. Fire Empire

Originally humans who were banished for not worshipping either the Sun or Moon Goddess.

Their first leader gathered them together, drilled them, and fought against hostile territories.

Their flames burn with such heat that even water cannot extinguish them.

They worship the god of fire.

The Five Kingdoms

1. Lightning Dragon Kingdom

Worship the Goddess of the Lightning Dragon.

Extremely fast race.

Their king is merciless: the Lightning King.

He wants to wipe out all other dragon races.

They are supported by the Human Empire, who believe dragons threaten their existence.

2. Ice Dragon Kingdom

Worship the Ice Dragon Goddess.

The smartest and most ruthless dragon race.

Currently fighting a two-front war:

Kingdom of the Lightning Dragon

White Dragon Kingdom

They are backed by the Aqua Empire, as both share affinities in ice/water.

They hate human.

3. White Dragon Kingdom

Worship Blanch, the White Dragon Goddess.

Weakest dragon race.

Despised by the other dragons, for their land contains enough mithril to arm all three of the dragon kingdoms combined.

They could master any element; what they lacked was manpower.

Their former king died without an heir; today they are ruled by a Noble Council.

4. United Elves & Dwarves Kingdom

Elves control forests even better than the Earth Empire itself.

For their legendary prowess in craftsmanship, dwarves are envied.

The Human Empire joined with the Earth Empire and sought to repress them because humans feared their various talents.

Thus the Elves and Dwarves united into one nation:

Elves form contracts with spirits; they do NOT worship gods.

Dwarves worship the Dwarven God.

5. Joint Tribe of Ogres & Goblins

No powerful weapons or magic.

Weakest nation.

Dwell in unfertile land where crops hardly grow.

Nobody bothers to attack them.

The visions ceased.

I opened my eyes.

Blanch was still watching me.

"So," she asked, "will you become my disciple? The king of my followers?

I just looked at her: "Why choose me?"

She smiled.

"Because our goals match. I want to conquer the Dragon Kingdoms and become the strongest Dragon Goddess."

And you… want to conquer everything standing in your way.

"Many people dream of power," she said softly. "But I like your vision. I believe in you."

I laughed bitterly.

"The only one who believes in me… is a goddess."

"Well, too bad. I'm not strong," I said.

"That's why," she replied, "a summoned human gets three wishes.

"Why didn't other goddesses do that?"

"There are two rules:

1. Summoning halves the goddess's power for 100 years.

2. If the summoned person refuses, the goddess loses the remaining part of her power and she becomes a spirit.

So yes… I was certain you'd accept.

I sighed. "Fine. I accept."

She smiled. "Then state your three wishes."

"First, I want to keep all my memories from my previous life.

"Second, I want infinite potential, as long as I work for it."

"Third, I want a system whereby I can message you anytime.

Blanch nodded but raised a finger.

"For the second wish, I have to add clauses so you can't destroy the world."

Clause 1:

"To switch between any two mastered forms, you have to remain perfectly still for 10 seconds. No movement, not even breathing.

Clause 2:

"To master anything, you must train ten times harder than a normal person."

I smirked. "Fine. I can handle that."

Blanch stood up and said,

"I will inform my followers to prepare your summoning. Until then… training begins."

I clenched my fists.

A new world.

A new life. A goddess who believes in me. "I'm ready," I said. "I will conquer this world."
