Chapter 47 - Chapter 46

"Welcome, Kurama! Please, follow me!"

Ancient One stood in front of the temple and smiled. She turned around and walked inside.

Kurama followed her and soon reached her room. Along the way, many sorcerers sensed Kurama's presence, but they chose to ignore it.

"So, what brought you here?" She sat on her knees and asked. She started making some tea and put it in front of him.

Kurama sat in a similar position as he took the cup of tea and said.

"Nice tea!"

Ancient One nodded but didn't speak.

"You should know I have completed making the Chakra Seed, right?" Kurama asked. Of course, she knew, but he still asked out of politeness.

"Yes, I have seen what Thor and Captain were capable of. If Odin wasn't so old, he would've wielded his Destroyer Armor to fight you."

Ancient One chuckled as she replied.

"I made that deal because he was too old. I know what prime Odin is capable of. That being said, I come here with a proposal."

Kurama said as his tone got serious.

"I will share my Chakra with your sorcerers, but I want it to be shared with every universe out there. So, I will need Vishanti's help."

Hearing that, Ancient One raised her eyebrows and said.

"That's a bold move! You don't think they will agree so easily, would you?"

"I really don't want to make a threat here. So, I will give you an offer."

"Those sorcerers who wield Chakra can still practice White Magic, and their souls will still fall under Vishanti."

"I will only take back their Chakra."

Hearing his words, Ancient One remained silent for a moment and shook her head.

"Your understanding of them isn't enough, Kurama. They are holding into Magic that can completely change the situation of Kama Taj."

"But they never share that kind of magic with us. So, they will not agree to help you because this move will only make them stronger."

Ancient One replied.

She knew just what kind of people Vishanti were. Just for the sake of keeping their control over magic, they would even go as far as sealing Strange.

It was only due to the death of the main Strange that they returned him to the normal timeline, but still kept his memories sealed.

Kurama understood her. Truthfully, Ancient One wasn't selected by Vishanti in the 616 universe.

He was selected by Eternity as the defender of the universe from mystical entities.

But since he used White Magic to fight Black Magic, he would fall under the umbrella of Vishanti.

In this timeline, Ancient One wasn't very old. She was taught by Agamoto, but that was just an incarnation of Agamoto.

Her connection with Eternity was forged through her Will to protect this reality using whatever magic she could master.

That's why, despite being one of the weakest realities, it was still keeping many of the dimensions' lords outside the universe.

She respected Agamoto and Vishanti, but she also didn't agree to their ideals of keeping White Magic to themselves.

She wouldn't contract them, but they weren't worthy of her respect.

The only one who should have some level of respect was Agamoto for everything he did to protect Earth.

"Don't worry! I have a way to convince them."

Kurama replied with a smile.

He didn't need their help to spread his influence, but he would only use such methods if they didn't agree.

Ancient One sighed and started using her magic to call upon the incarnations of Vishanti.

Both of them released their Astral Form and slowly emerged into the Astral Dimension, where the incarnations of the Vishanti appeared.

Their incarnations were exactly the same as he remembered.

One was a woman, another was a tiger, and the final one was a man.

While in his Astral Form, Kurama had reverted to his Adam's form.

"I seriously need to change my looks, otherwise I will not be able to fool some people."

Kurama joked as he looked at Vishanti.

"New Dimensional Lord! I wanted to meet you for a while. My name is Agamotto. This is Oshtur and Hoggoth."

"My name is Adam Grant, but I have taken the title of Kurama. I have come to bargain, Vishanti!"

Kurama introduced himself as he struck the idea of bargain.

When Ancient One heard that, she gave him a strange look. Because she still remembered how this was the opening line from Strange to Dormammu.

Hearing his words, Agamotto also gave him a strange look and asked.

"You are a Dimensional Lord. Why would you believe we will bargain with you?"

His words only made Kurama sneer as he said.

'How long do you think you can hang on to all that Magic? With Strange mastering Asgardian Magic, Wiccan unlocking his full potential, and Wanda becoming the Ultimate Nexus Being."

"Do you really think they will let you interfere with their world? Do not forget Agamotto, you are a Dimensional Lord just like me."

When he revealed those names, the expressions of the Vishanti changed drastically.

They understood every single person's potential mentioned by Kurama. Even just Doctor Strange had the potential to master all kinds of Magic.

The reason why he relied so much on their magic was simply because of their direct connection to the earth and the danger of those evil dimensional lords.

If Wanda, Strange, and Wiccan do end up working together, they could easily prevent any dimensional interference without the help of their magic.

Seeing their expressions, Kurama sneered.

He understood their thoughts.

Even someone like Eternity wouldn't hesitate to free Hadad to kill Oblivion, who was supposed to be one of the four main abstract entities.

So, how could Vishanti not be any more selfish?

They completely controlled all kinds of White Magic, so naturally, they wouldn't share its full potential with others.

That's why, despite going through more and more experience, Doctor Strange was only getting weaker and weaker.

Strange had the potential to surpass Ancient One, and Ancient One was one sorcerer who got a direct promotion from Eternity for protecting the universe.

On the other hand, Oshtur was one of the Elder Gods, Hoggoth was one of the Old Ones, and Agamotto was the son of Oshtur.

They were directly connected to magic, while the Ancient One learned magic.

While Kurama wouldn't call them bad, they were certainly selfish being and the selfish beings hate nothing more than others taking their things.

Just as he mentioned those names, Vishanti solemnly changed their expressions and started having conversations in their mind.

After a short silence, Agamotto spoke.

"That might be true, but they are only part of one universe. Their influence can't spread outside that universe."

Hearing that, Kurama chuckled.

"And, what made you think that? Can't you see a variable standing right in front of you?"

He said while pointing at his nose.

Agamotto realized what Kurama meant by that. There wasn't supposed to be any new dimensional lords.

When Kurama was born, they did feel his presence and tried to look into his past, but due to the interference of a certain being, they couldn't do it.

And since Kurama was already at the level of Dormammu after being born, he was certainly a variable.

Oshtur opened her mouth and asked.

"So, what do you propose, Dimensional Lord?"

"Just call me Kurama! That whole title feels weird. Since we are finally talking about this, I will give you a direct answer. Safety!"

"Just like what Loki did to this part of the multiverse, I will keep your dimension safe."

When he said that, Vishanti realized what he wanted to say.

Since Beyonder's actions led to the destruction of the multiverse, they died during that period.

But after Molecule Man and Franklin Richards' powers brought them back, they only felt the changes in the multiverse, nothing more.

In their mind, they were dead and reborn.

But nothing changed.

So, they didn't care about it. But now thinking about that, they felt strangely unsatisfied, or rather afraid.

"You can feel, can't you? If the multiverse is destroyed, you will be destroyed too."

"You exist within the pocket dimension, but you don't exist outside the multiverse."

"Franklin, Owen, and Reed were good guys. Good guys keep things safe and restore them to their initial state."

"In short, you just got a bargain because they were good guys. If they were people like Chthon, do you they would revived you?"

Hoggoth looked at Kurama and said.

"And, what made you think you can keep us safe?"

"Because of this!"

He said as he released his Chakra towards them.

"Unlike you guys, I don't need to hold back on giving my powers to others. And unlike your powers that require talent, mine can do just fine with Willpower."

"The stronger ones Willpower is, the more chakra they can produce. Sure, they will have upper limits."

"But compared to the improvement brought by your Magic, it's miles ahead. In short, I want to share Chakra with the multiverse."

"And, I want you three to be my middlemen."
