Chapter 44 - Chapter 43

"Then, I'm leaving! It was fun talking to you guys."

Jim Jasper waved his hand and disappeared from his universe.

Wanda and Jean nodded their heads at Adam as they left, while Franklin hesitated.

He found it very interesting to be with Kurama. He had never felt this interested since he made the multiverse.

But when he saw Matthew leaving as well, he also waved his hand and said goodbye before leaving his universe.

Finally, only Legion remained.

Instead of others, he didn't leave. His eyes were stuck on Kurama as he asked.

"Do you trust us so much?"

He felt like Adam was too impulsive to tell them his plan so quickly. After all, they had only met for less than an hour.

Kurama shook his head and smiled.

"Do I look like an idiot to you? My plan is nothing compared to some of the cosmic events that will happen soon."

"Even if someone leaks my plan, it will not change anything. Because my goal from the beginning was only those two."

Legion contemplated his words for a moment before his eyes widened.

"Wait, all of this conversation, everything you said, it was just to make them take your Chakra."

Kurama chimed in.

"That isn't right. My plan can be improvised, but that is the core plan. I intend to take those universes in that chaos."

"But my target had always been the Chakra of Phoenix and Chaos Magic. Both of them are incredibly powerful."

"Once they transform their energies into Chakra, I will receive a feed once a year. I don't need to write a contract for this."

Hearing that, Legion burst into laughter.

"You son of….. You never intended to use a contract for this. You could just absorb Chakra from others at any moment."

Kurama smiled.

"Indeed! I am not going to waste years just to develop my strength. If I had that kind of patience, I wouldn't have started this war."

Suddenly, he became serious as he said.

"But I want you to keep an eye on Jim."

Legion asked.

"Why him?"

"Because he is a wildcard. He is a powerful mutant, but if he doesn't plan to cooperate, I can't work with him."

"You, Wanda, Jean, and even Franklin, have gone through events that have shaped you to who you are. These aren't good events either."

"But Jim didn't have that kind of life. His life was easy, and his powers too great. He might not be one of us. You understand what I mean."

Kurama replied.

Legion nodded.

Because of his powers, he had suffered a lot. Because of their powers, Jean, Wanda, and Matthew had also suffered.

While Franklin had a better life, it was always chaotic. And more importantly, with his invincible power, he couldn't change the tragedy of his life.

He had even gone through the death of his uncle, although his uncle truly didn't die.

These events had turned him into a little superhero who was willing to help Kurama change their ill fate.

But Jim Jasper wasn't the guy with such a fate.

If anything, he became the Prime Minister of Britain.

"By the way, there is another mutant you might wanna meet. He isn't a Reality Bender like us, but he has absolute control over the Matter Manipulation."

"His name is Absolon Mercator. If he is already strong by now and is just hiding from others, he should go by the name of Mr M."

"I am pretty sure you have a version of him and another of me in your universe as well. I hope you can help them."

Legion explained.

Kurama nodded his head.

"I will do my best."

Legion nodded and turned around. But just before he left, he couldn't help but ask.

"Do you trust me?"

Kurama chuckled.

"You need to find that out yourself."

Legion smiled and vanished from his universe. The moment he was gone, Kurama's expression became serious.

He released a large portion of his Chakra into his hand and raised it above his head.

After a moment, his universe started shaking violently. It started evolving.

The very structure of his universe was a gigantic space full of matter and a little bit of energy.

When he made this universe, he made it to be his home, so he converted all of the space-time he first devoured into matter and made this universe.

But after making this universe, he could enter this universe and do pretty crazy things, but as soon as he left this universe, his powers would be stopped.

As a normal human who just turned into a mutant, he never knew about Dimensional Beings like Elder Gods, Dormammu, and Hell Lords.

But when he merged with the memories of his Earth's individual, he was no longer the same Adam Grant.

It was weird because the main memories of him were the memories of his parents and childhood.

On the other hand, the main memories of another him were the memories of comics and anime.

He did have a few memories of his family, but it was so silent that he almost forgot about them.

So when he gave them the excuse, he wasn't lying.

Both merged into one new personality, a new identity, and this identity was the identity of Adam Grant, the mutant with Beyond Omega Level potential.

He became a Dimensional Being and adopted the alias of Kurama, letting his clone take the role of Adam Grant.

While both were directly connected, they also had different minds.

Adam Grant was the Adam with clear memories of his childhood and identity as a mutant.

On the other hand, Kurama's personality was very similar to Adam from another world.

As for Naruto and Tobi, they were mostly created with the imagination of Naruto and Tobi.

Tobi wasn't Obito. He was a mixture of Tobi and Obito, and himself.

Naruto was also a mixture of Naruto and himself.

Now, he had successfully gotten his hands on Reality Stone, spread his influence in the universe, and possessed thousands of souls.

These souls were freshly pulled in during the previous war.

He didn't convert these souls into energy. He kept them on the side as he strengthened his universe.

The fact that his mutant fellows could sense him meant others could do the same.

More importantly, this world wasn't exactly like comics or movies. It contained both, but also separately.

The Multiverse was destroyed during an incursion. But a part of the multiverse was kept safe by Loki, the God of Time.

Unlike in the movies, he clearly didn't hold the entire multiverse in his hand. Instead, he only held a part of the multiverse.

That was the same part that He Who Remains saved.

At this moment, he was beginning to understand what had happened here. Although it was just a conjecture of his.

Kang couldn't turn the entire multiverse into One Sacred Timeline. That was impossible, considering he was just a mortal with Time powers.

His variants were indeed trying to conquer and destroy as many universes as possible. But, they were only destroying or conquering weaker universes.

Since every branch in the timeline could create a new universe, there was an infinite number of universes.

And, these universes had different power levels.

Just like how the Ultimate Universe was weaker than the 616 universe.

So, He Who Remains decided to pull all of those weaker universes into one Sacred Timeline so that no new Kang was born.

Since Kangs could easily fiddle with Time, he didn't want them to create a new time and universe to conquer them.

By preventing them from entering his Sacred Timeline and forcefully stopping them from creating new timelines, he basically saved those weaker universes.

As for the stronger ones, he didn't care. Because these universes would easily destroy Kang and his council.

So, the Kang Council went into hiding while He Who Remains kept the Sacred Timeline save for millions of years.

But time was an interesting thing. During the Sacred Timeline, it was a loop, but after Loki became God of Time, he allowed new timelines to thrive.

He realized why Loki was able to do this and become so strong that he could stop incursion from affecting his part of the multiverse.

The Council of Kang would conquer and destroy timelines and universes to create more Temporal Energy.

Temporal Energy was basically the energy source for their time-related weapons. But Loki didn't need that.

He was a God. He became the God of Time by understanding the rules of Time and turning his Divine Energy into Temporal Energy.

That meant he could produce Temporal Energy by himself.

Since he was basically immortal now, his body could continuously produce more and more Temporal Energy.

Since Time was something that even gods couldn't control, he was practically getting stronger by producing more Temporal Energy every second.

And without time affecting him, he was basically able to produce enough Temporal Energy to separate the multiverse from his World Tree Multiverse.

'At least, that's the only way I believe he can save that multiverse. Otherwise, even people who could manipulate time, reality, and the universe couldn't stop incursions.'
