Chapter 30 - When Colors Dream

The morning sunlight poured through the tall glass windows of the Academy's central hall, scattering rainbows across the marble floor like spilled jewels. The air shimmered faintly — as if even the light was holding its breath.

For the first time in days, the Academy was quiet. Not silent — just calm, like the world itself was pausing to listen.

Headmistress Eira stood before them, her silver hair falling like liquid moonlight, her eyes glowing faintly with the reflection of the six hovering spheres behind her. Each sphere pulsed with color — gold, crimson, blue, green, silver, and soft azure — the essence of their bearers.

Eira: "Today, you will not fight. You will listen.""The light within you has begun to awaken. But until you understand it…""It will consume you instead of guiding you."

Her words flowed like a song — ancient, steady, and warm.

The six students — Lyra, Draven, Seren, Eira Wynn, Riven, and Nyra — sat cross-legged in a circle beneath the lights.Lumi rested beside Lyra's lap, glowing softly.Near Seren, the air itself stirred — a faint silvery-blue breeze brushing past his wrist, subtle but aware.

The Dream Meditation

Eira: "Close your eyes. Let your color find you."

The hall dimmed. The sound of wind faded.Light and thought began to blend until all sense of time melted away.

One by one, they fell — not downward, but inward — into the realm where colors breathe and dreams remember.

 Lyra's Color Realm

Lyra opened her eyes to a golden ocean stretching to infinity, waves rippling with starlight.Above her, constellations spun like petals drifting through the air.

Lyra: "Where am I?"

Lumi floated beside her — larger now, its form made of pure radiance.

Lumi: "Home."

The voice wasn't sound — it was warmth inside her chest, a pulse that matched her heartbeat.

Lyra: "I don't understand…"Lumi: "You will. Your light remembers."

The world around her shifted — colors fading into shadow, until only a violet glow remained.

In that glow, Lyra saw flashes:a city bathed in fractured color, seven silhouettes beneath a broken sky, her own hand reaching for a violet flame before everything fell apart.

She gasped, clutching her chest.

Lyra: "That's… the same dream I had before…"Lumi: "Not a dream. A memory."

The words echoed like the fading note of a forgotten song.

Draven's Color Realm

Draven stood on a bridge of floating glass, suspended in a crimson storm.Lightning flashed in slow motion — every spark revealing shards of the world below.

Fire surged around him — powerful, raw, unstable.

No voice answered.No shape appeared.

Only heat… and the pressure of something waiting to be mastered.

The bridge trembled, and through the storm, Draven glimpsed the same violet light — distant, watching, patient.

Seren's Color Realm

Seren opened his eyes to an endless sky of soft azure.

There was no ground. No sun.Only wind — layered, echoing, alive.

Moments folded over each other like overlapping memories.

"Time doesn't move here," Seren murmured."It listens."

The air shifted.

The wind gathered.

From the flowing currents, a small fox-shaped form emerged — silvery-blue, winged, quiet. It did not speak. It only watched.

Seren felt it instantly — not as a presence, but as a choice.

"So it's you," he said softly."The echo I've been hearing."

The creature circled once, leaving behind a spiral of light and memory.

A whisper brushed his thoughts:

Every choice leaves a trace.

Seren closed his eyes — and nodded.

The wind settled.

Time, for the first time, answered him back.

The Awakening of Light

Then, one by one, all the colors began to merge — gold with crimson, blue with silver, green with shadow.Their realms collided, folding into one vast, luminous field that stretched beyond thought.

For a heartbeat, the six stood together — floating in a sea of living color.

Lumi hovered close to Lyra.A soft wind curled instinctively toward Seren.

And at the center, the colors pulsed as one — a brilliant fusion of everything they were and everything they could become.

A voice spoke, distant yet close enough to stir their hearts.

"Six lights united…""But the Seventh still dreams."

The field quivered — the violet shimmer flickering in the distance like an eye half-open — and then, everything went still.

 Return to Reality

Their eyes opened slowly.

They were back in the hall. The six spheres above them now glowed dimly, their light steady but gentler, as though sleeping after a long song.

Headmistress Eira stood silently, her expression calm but unreadable.

Eira: "You've begun to remember your bonds. That is good.""But what you saw — those visions — are only fragments. Don't chase them yet.""Let them come to you."

Lyra nodded, brushing a hand through Lumi's soft fur.

Across from her, Seren exhaled slowly — the faintest breeze stirring around him before fading.

Lyra (whispering): "The Seventh still dreams…"

And high above them, where the colored glass caught the morning sun, a faint violet glimmer flickered — unseen, but waiting.
