Cyrus then walked over to her and gently placed one hand on her head. "We'll figure it out when we see it."
"Alright," Roxanna said in hesitation, but at least she had became calmer now. "Let's just go before I start regretting this."
The three of them left Vixeria Settlement not long after.
The first part of the journey was easy since they were still walking through the familiar forest surrounding the settlement.
Roxanna had passed through this area many times before, so she recognized several of the paths and large trees along the way.
But they made sure not to enter through the border near where Luno was staying.
As they continued deeper into the forest, everything slowly began to change.
The trees became taller and thicker, blocking more sunlight from reaching the ground. Long vines hung from the branches above them, while large roots twisted across the path.
Roxanna had to lift the edge of her clothes several times to keep herself from tripping.
