She held her breath. "So both of them are in danger," she whispered.
Luan could move well, even in deep snow. But he would get cold easily.
Cyrus, on the other hand, could last longer in low temperatures. But if his wings froze or got hurt, he wouldn't be able to fly or escape.
Either way, neither of them was truly safe.
Roxanna closed her eyes for a second. Then she took a deep breath. "I'll go to Luan first," she said softly but firmly. "He can't stay in the cold for too long."
If she remembered correctly, Luan was carrying backpack number one, while Cyrus had number two. The number was printed clearly on the back of the backpack in bright yellow, so it was impossible for her to forget.
"Take me to bag number one," Roxanna added.
