"L-Luan…" Roxanna said in a weak voice. "Pull me up… first. I-I'll be fine."
Luan looked like he was about to pass out as he pulled Roxanna's body away from the rock that had pierced her stomach. Even though her pain tolerance was very high, it didn't mean she couldn't feel pain at all.
Maybe her brain also thought this was a huge tragedy—well, yes, it really was. It would definitely be a big tragedy if Roxanna didn't have a healing ability—she had even imagined the pain before Luan pulled her out.
"I'm okay… I'm okay…" she murmured again and again, like she was casting a small spell on herself. But deep down, she was really just trying to believe it.
She was trying to convince herself that everything would be fine, even though a sharp rock had just pierced her stomach.
