Roxanna's eyes widened in shock as she looked at them. The group of horses was almost three times bigger than the ones in her old world. Their bodies were tall and strong, and every step they took made the ground feel heavy.
She couldn't help but remember something she had heard before. There was a theory that said when a planet had more oxygen, the animals living on it would grow bigger than usual.
It seemed that the theory was true, because every time Calen brought back hunted prey, the animals were always huge. Even the bugs crawling on her legs were huge, making her feel both disgusted and annoyed.
"T-They're too big…" Roxanna whispered as the horses slowly came closer. She grabbed Luan's arm without realizing it. "Can we really control them if they're this big?" she asked nervously.
