"Roxanna, you don't have to worry about any of this," Zeir said gently. "I'll take care of the settlement, and Azul will take care of Calen. So just focus on your journey and come back safely as soon as you can."
Roxanna finally let out a long breath. She really was lucky because she could always depend on her husbands. They might argue over small things sometimes, but when something serious happened, they always stood together as a team.
"Thank you, Zeir." She stood on her tiptoes and kissed him softly. "Please… wait for me."
Then she turned to Azul and kissed his lips. "Please take good care of him while I'm gone."
Azul nodded without hesitation. "Of course." He gently brushed her hair a few times and smiled. "You have to take care of yourself and our baby too."
