The moment Roxanna stepped into the hut, she saw Calen and Luan sleeping on the floor mattress, which hadn't even been fully unfolded yet.
For some reason, they were able to lie side by side without making a fuss. Roxanna actually had a small hope that they would be hugging in their sleep, but honestly, that was probably too much to expect.
"I'm sorry the bed is messy," Azul said in a small voice. "They drank the liquor too fast, so they passed out like that."
After changing into the clothes Cyrus had given her, Roxanna smiled softly and replied, "It's okay. Really. You all worked so hard today. You deserve to drink as much as you want and sleep as long as you want."
She smiled and then alternately patted Azul and Cyrus's cheeks. "Now that I'm home… how about we sleep first?" she said. "Maybe we can drink the liquor tomorrow?"
