Calen immediately sat down in front of her like an obedient dog, tail wagging. Luan tried to act cool, but he sat down too, right next to Calen, as if guarding his spot. Azul sat cross-legged, Cyrus crouched with his arms on his knees, and Zeir sat calmly.
Roxanna laughed softly. "You all look like hungry boys."
"We are hungry," Calen said without shame.
"We're not boys," Luan grumbled.
Cyrus let out a long sigh. "Luan, please don't start fighting again."
Before another argument could break out, Roxanna clapped her hands loudly. "Okay! Okay! Open your mouths!"
She then fed them the grilled meat one by one, and all of them, without exception, immediately widened their eyes in excitement.
The meat was so delicious that they almost shouted out loud. The flavor was rich, warm, and so good that they wanted to keep eating forever. None of them could even describe the taste properly, but it was just that good.
