Chapter 31 - Chapter 31 Malfoy's Revenge

The corridors of Hogwarts appeared somewhat dim and long in the afternoon sunlight.

The old oil paintings hanging on the wall seem to have lost their former vitality.

The figures in the painting also became quiet.

Only occasionally could one hear a few faint whispers.

Draco Malfoy, with his signature arrogant expression,

Walking briskly down the corridor,

Behind him,

Two figures, as large as small mountains, followed closely behind.

Those were his two loyal henchmen—Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Gore.

"What you just said, is it true?" Malfoy stopped and turned to look at the short, stout Crabbe behind him.

His lips curled slightly upward, as if he was suppressing his inner excitement, and his gray eyes also gleamed with an undisguised thrill.

"Yes, Draco." Crabbe nodded obediently.

He scratched the back of his greasy head and said in a muffled voice:

"I just saw Harry Potter and Moon White go into Professor Snape's office together. After a long time, Harry Potter came out alone, but Moon White was left inside."

There was a hint of uncertainty in his words; he didn't seem to quite understand what everything he was seeing meant.

"Are you sure? Did you really see it clearly? That Moen White was really left inside?!"

Malfoy seemed impatient, his voice rising slightly, his tone filled with barely concealed excitement.

"Yes, Draco, I saw it clearly, I swear! I absolutely didn't see wrong, I saw Harry Potter walk out of Professor Snape's office alone! And that Morne White was left inside."

Crabbe reiterated everything he had seen.

"Very good!"

Malfoy excitedly clenched his fist, a twisted smile spreading across his face. He had finally gotten his chance for revenge.

His gray eyes were also filled with a smug gleam.

"I knew they'd anger Professor Snape! Especially that Mohn! Does he think he's so great? Daring to slap me on the very first day of school! I'm not letting him get away with this!"

His tone was extremely sarcastic and full of resentment towards Moen, as if he couldn't wait to take revenge.

Goyle, standing to the side, listened to Malfoy's mutterings.

A look of confusion crossed his face.

He stared blankly at Malfoy, asking with a hint of confusion, "Why is it good, Draco? Why are you so happy? Did Professor Snape praise them?"

When Malfoy heard Goyle's words,

The smile on his face froze instantly.

He stared at Goyle with wide eyes, a look of utter disappointment on his face. He reached out and poked Goyle's head hard with his finger, his tone filled with anger:

"You idiot! Can't you use your brain? They must have caused trouble to be called to Professor Snape's office! That Moon White was kept behind to be punished!"

His tone was full of disdain for Gore. He didn't even bother to explain much to Gore, because he knew that Gore's mind would never be able to comprehend everything he was thinking.

Crabbe listened to Malfoy's analysis,

He nodded thoughtfully, a look of sudden realization appearing on his face.

He chimed in, "That's right! That must be it! That Moon White must have angered Professor Snape, that's why he's being kept behind as punishment!"

He seemed to think he had discovered the truth, and a hint of smugness flashed in his eyes.

Gore listened to their analysis.

He nodded blankly.

Although he didn't fully understand, he felt that what Malfoy and Crabbe said made a lot of sense.

It seems they understand what to do next.

"That's for sure! That Moen White is definitely going to be in big trouble this time!" he echoed in a muffled voice.

Seeing that his two henchmen agreed with him, Malfoy's face broke into a smug smile once more.

He began to plot how to use this opportunity to thoroughly humiliate Moen.

He wanted Moen to kneel before him and beg for his forgiveness.

To make Moen understand that the power he possesses is utterly insignificant in the face of a true pure-blood wizard!

His heart was filled with a twisted pleasure.

"Let's go! We'll ambush Professor Snape outside his office! We'll teach him a lesson he won't forget this time!"

Malfoy waved his arms,

They couldn't wait to head towards Snape's office.

A sinister smile curled at the corner of his mouth, as if he could already see Moen being trampled under his feet.

Crabbe and Gore followed closely behind, their faces also beaming with excitement.

They imagined the scene of Moen being utterly humiliated by them.

Their hearts were also filled with dark expectations.

The three people, like three wild beasts waiting for their chance, quickly disappeared at the end of the corridor.

Their figures cast distorted shadows on the wall, seemingly foreshadowing the coming storm.

As soon as Mohn stepped out of Snape's office, he saw Malfoy and his two bear-like henchmen blocking his way menacingly.

A sinister smile played on Malfoy's face as he spoke to Moen in a mocking tone:

"Oh my, isn't this our great savior, Moon White? What are you doing coming out of Professor Snape's office? Were you punished? Or did Professor Snape give you special guidance?"

His tone was full of provocation and sarcasm.

His heart was filled with excitement and anticipation; he couldn't wait to see Moen's terrified expression.

Moen looked at Malfoy in front of him, his face calm and composed, his eyes showing no panic, but rather a hint of helplessness.

He knew that Malfoy would definitely come looking for trouble.

He also understood that Malfoy's heart was not as evil as he appeared.

He was just a child bound by family ideology and yearning for the approval of others.

He needs someone to guide him and help him understand that relationships between people are based on equality, not on bloodlines or family background.

He ignored Malfoy's sarcasm, but secretly pondered how to use this opportunity to reshape Malfoy's mind as well, because a sapling won't grow straight if it's not pruned.

"What a troublesome fellow!" Moen sighed softly.

Perhaps it's time to teach this spoiled child a lesson.

His lips curled up slightly, revealing a playful smile, and a subtle glint flashed in his eyes.
