Eli started walking toward the docks, the coordinates from Selena still open on his phone. Industrial Zone Seven was an abandoned shipping terminal on the edge of the city, the kind of place where containers could sit untouched for weeks and nobody would think twice about what happened inside them. There were few cameras, little civilian traffic, and more than enough warehouses and empty buildings to hide an entire operation. The farther Eli walked, the more the familiar sounds of the city faded behind him. The smell of salt and diesel grew stronger, carried in by the wind from the harbour.
His phone vibrated.
It was Y.
"Boss."
Eli answered without slowing. "Talk."
"I've been trying to trace the coordinates you received, and something's wrong."
Eli's expression tightened. "What?"
"The location isn't registered under Selena Vale. It's not even registered under the Vale network."
