Everyone gathers around the table quietly eating as they get up going outside huddling together in a circle.
''Alright dirtbags you've had your meals!?''. Momo shouts.
''Yes!''. Everyone shouts Togata with less determination.
''You've brushed your teeth!?''. Momo shouts again.
''Yes!''. Everyone shouts.
''Leader say something!''. Momo says.
''Huh? Oh right''. Aira says remembering she's the leader. ''The day is finally here, if you think about it we've trained long and hard. And we're pretty tough now if you ask me. At first we didn't work well together, that first day.....''.
''Wrap it up!''. Momo shouts. ''Space aliens! Your ass is grass!''.
Momo jumps into the air pumping her fist. ''Take this you assholes! We're gonna blow you away damn it!''.
''I ain't mad''. Mr Mantis Shrimp says with determination.
''Let's see, who's really the strongest!''. Aira shouts.
''Everyone time to go!''. Mr Mantis Shrimp says with determination.
''Hi-ya! Take that!''. Momo shouts.
''Get in quickly now!''. Mr Mantis Shrimp says.
''Lower it down shrimp, damn it!". Momo says trying to push Aira into the house.
''Damn it shrimp!''. Aira shouts.
''I don't recommend making me mad''. Mr Mantis Shrimp says.
''Wait everyone''. Togata says quietly.
''C'mon what's wrong don't kill the mood! We have to get fired up!''. Momo says turning around.
''I know just....''. Togata says as he is cut off by Mr Mantis Shrimp.
''Get in Togata! Let's go!''. He says.
''Wait I want to say something first''. Togata says.
''What! I've already said everything you need to hear as leader!''. Aira shouts.
''Wait!''. Togata shouts, as everyone looks at him.
''What is it Togata?''. Jiji asks.
What's wrong young master, you've seemed off since this morning''. Tick asks worried.
''I'm not going alright!''. Togata shouts.
Everyone stays quiet.
''HUH!?''. Momo asks.
''Why!''. Aira shouts.
''I just can't alright! Tick go with them I'm not going, he'll be there to help in case you need anything, make sure you don't worry about my life force just use your power''. Togata says as he turns around walking off.
''Oh no way! You're not letting your nerves scare you out of this dude! C'mon we need all the help we can get''. Momo says grabbing him.
''You guys will be fine without me I can't come!''. Togata says resisting.
''Why? are you scared?''. Jiji asks.
''Yeah! I'm scared okay?''. Togata replies.
''You're not going anywhere!''. Momo shouts.
Togata manages to break free as he walks away.
''What the hell dude what's wrong, don't be a coward!''. Momo shouts.
''Yeah whatever''. Togata says walking away.
Tick just stands there stunned. ''Young....Mas...''.
''Don't say anything Tick just go with them, that's an order''. Togata says.
Before he can take another step Aira is in front of him standing arms crossed she leans in closer.
Tick flies over immediately as well.
''What's wrong, is it Death again or what?''. Aira whispers.
''Young master, there is no need to hide anything''. Tick whispers as well.
''Yeah, this has gone too far already, we need to tell Momo, she can help I'm sure''. Aira whispers.
''No, not this time, no one can help, I'm too dangerous, it's safer if you go without me''. Togata says as he walks off.
Aira stops him again.
''C'mon stop it with the damn lone wolf shit lets go''. Aira says.
''Young master Togata! I do not know what's wrong but I have a feeling, bad thoughts and tendencies don't make you a bad person, the resistance to act on them is what does''. Tick pleads.
Togata pulls free as he takes out a pocket watch from his pocket. ''I'm not sure if I can resist. Tick, I release you''.
Suddenly his hair turns almost completely white as Tick suddenly holds the pocket watch in his hand.
''Young master!''. Tick says.
''Don't...Take care of them''. Togata says as he walks off.
''There you go again with your selfish attitude, thinking everything's about you!''. Aira says.
''It's for your own good''. Togata says.
''You don't know everything! I knew your type from the day you showed up! Damn egoists who have to make everything about themselves, well this is bigger than all of us idiot! I don't care what you're scared of we can take them!''. Aira says.
''You don't know me as good as you think you do, I'm off, be careful''. Togata says.
''If you walk away!''. Aira shouts stopping Togata in his tracks.
''If you leave and make us fight those things on our own. Never come back you hear me, you are banned from this group''. Aira says.
''Can she do that?''. Jiji asks.
Momo and Mantis Shrimp nod that they don't know.
Togata just looks back and continues walking away.
''GRR! C'mon lets go!''. Aira shouts as he heads to the house car.
Everyone stands for a minute before turning around.
''What's up with Togata, Tick?''. Jiji asks.
''The young master is....Going through something that even I don't understand''. Tick says.
Togata walks away through the woods as he thinks to himself.
''I didn't want it to happen like this but, I would never let myself hurt them, and I don't want them to have to hurt me in case anything happens, it's better this way''. Togata says to himself before he stops walking.
He falls to the ground grunting. ''GRR. I hate this! Why did everything have to turn out this way!?''.
He manages to control himself as he gets back up sighing. ''I'm sorry everyone. You all have been managing without me, and with Tick you should be fine''. Togata continues as he manages to get to the city.
''It's time I act my age''. Togata says as he looks around to see a store. ''Oh yeah my phone was destroyed''. He sighs.
He enters to buy a new one. While there he sees some EarPods on sale and decides to buy them as he walks out of the store.
''They must already be fighting by now''. Togata sighs to himself.
He turns on his new phone and checks his messages, one is from the government asking where he is and why his house blew up. And that's all.
''Work....Work, work work....That's all I'm good for, and Death saw that that's why he made me his pawn''. Togata thinks to himself pissed as he leaves the message on read.
He decides to tune in to the radio listening as he walks down the street.
''Oh heyyo! Welcome for tuning in to hashtag radio! The radio for only the hippest teens who know how to go around town''. The radio host says.
''That wouldn't be me''. Togata says sulking.
''We play you the most recent hits! Give ya some advice and just have a good time hope ya ready!''. The radio host says.
''Yep...I'm ready''. Togata says sarcastically with low energy as he buys a drink.
''So first let's get into our Q and A section and after we'll play ya a new banger I'm sure you deep dark emo teens will love''. The Radio host says.
''Emo, I wouldn't call myself that''. Togata says as he takes a sip still walking.
''Ok first up we got Suki, she says hey guys love the show, I have a question what do you do when you have a friend that you want to tell something about you but you're scared they'll run off''. The radio host reads out.
Togata spits out his drink.
''Well Suki, I think ya should just tell em, if they're really a friend they'll accept ya, and if they don't I mean you don't have to like everything about somebody just do what you love and be yourself girllll! Ok who's next''. The radio host says.
''I wonder what they're doing, maybe I should just...''. Togata says as he puts on the communication device Momo gave him and turns it on.
Suddenly he's thrown into some sort of vision where he sees Vamola and everything she went through on her planet before coming to earth. The shock from the immediate information directly to his brain causes him to collapse. When he wakes up he sees people all around him asking if he's ok.
''Kid! Hey Kid! You ok!?''. A man shouts.
''I'm such an idiot''. Togata sighs.
''What? He asked if you were okay dude?''. Another guy says.
''There people are dying on another planet and I'm here sulking about a spirit haunting me cause of a contract I made myself...Vamola went through all of that but still she's here''. Togata thinks to himself as he lies there.
''Kid? We called the paramedics they're on their way''. A man says.
''Aira was right, I am selfish, I'm not the only one in the world going through stuff, Vamola needs our help, my friends wanted me with them, after all we've been through''. Togata says to himself as he gets up.
''Hey calm down wait up the paramedics are on their way''. A man says trying to stop him.
''They don't need my help, they don't need me to protect them, I'm there cause they want me to be''. Togata says to himself as he sees Death in front of him grinning.
''I'm not scared of you, I would rather end myself than hurt my friends or leave them there to die on their own, Vamola's mom said something about getting angry, well I'm plenty mad at you! These aliens that destroyed my house, and I'm just generally pissed off!''. Togata says as he looks to the left and enters a shop.
He runs out with a chocolate bar. He eats it with determination as he jumps on cars to get there quicker.
''Wait up everyone,....I'm coming!''. Togata says.
