Chapter 4 - Raphael Ben Noah

After an unknown amount of time;

"Leo, you were prohibited from fighting against your fellow Zodiac Guardians. Why did you go and cause unnecessary trouble?"

"Hmpf, only a weakling like you wouldn't dare to fight. The betrayers must die. Do you want me to let them get away?"

"That decision lies with His Majesty, not yours."

"Can't believe you call yourself the most loyal guardian. If His Majesty is awake, he would surely support the extinction of betrayers. Are you also in cahoots with them, Virgo?"

"Don't you dare question my loyalty, Leo. *sniff* My heart and my soul belong to His Majesty. His will is my will. *sniff* His Majesty ordered us to guard his body until he woke up. We shall do our job. The betrayers will be judged by His Majesty."

"Hmpf, a crybaby that doesn't know the meaning of true loyalty."

"You… *uwaaa* I will pull out your cat whiskers and shave you bald once His Majesty… *sob* *sob*"

"Ugh…"

A groan suddenly escaped from nearby, halting their conversation abruptly and making them turn their heads to look at the throne.

A silver-haired, teenage-looking boy was seen sleeping on the throne, in an upright sitting posture.

Noah slowly opened his eyes to find a humanoid monster with the head of a black lion in glowing scarlet armor and a beautiful woman in simplistic yet elegant wear.

Surprise filled their faces, followed by a scream from the maiden, "Milord…" She rushed forward to the throne, grabbing the boy's face in joy, "Milord, you are awake at last."

*Ahem* "Virgo…"

A low and rough voice from the other figure interrupted her. Before the boy could speak, she swiftly moved back and stood beside Leo.

Both of them made a fist and placed their hand on their chest, bowing to their Lord and greeting in unison, "Welcome Back, Your Majesty."

"Uhhh…" The boy sounded in confusion. "Ra'shur vehlos? (Who are you?) Huh?"

As Noah was surprised by his change of voice and an unfamiliar language, Leo took a step back in shock, and tears formed in the eyes of Virgo before she started crying out aloud, "Uwaa…" "His Majesty forgot about me… boohoo… I'm ruined… waaaa…"

The entire hall started shaking like an earthquake. Leo covered his ears tightly, and Noah continued to stare at her in wonder, "What in the mothf*ck*ng hell is going on here?"

After a while;

"So, my name is Raphael Ben Noah, the King of this celestial race called Angels, and for some reason, five thousand years ago, I left my home, Aquiloria, and then somehow went into a hibernation period until now. Meanwhile, I originally had 13 immortal guardians called Zodiac Knights created with my essence; you two are those knights who stayed with me, seven betrayed me under the influence of this second in command called Architect and joined some ancient organization, and the remaining four were imprisoned in Aquiloria. This is my story?"

Noah doesn't have even a tiny bit of memory of the body his soul possessed. His past life memories were, however, intact.

Virgo, the maiden-looking monster, nodded as she wiped out her tears, "In a gist, that was your story, Milord. *sob* *sob* Never in my life had I ever imagined that I would be forgotten by His Majesty. *sob* I mean, I was your favorite Zodiac Knight. You spent so much time with me whenever you were disturbed. *sob* *sob*

Leo, the lion-headed humanoid monster, fell to his knees. "According to Gemini, your powers were sealed inside by your soul artifact. Architect, that cunning fox, dismantled it into seven pieces and gave each one to a betrayer. I saw one in the hands of Cancer when I fought against him recently. He was the one who told me about the dismantling. Your Majesty, give me an order and I shall track down that crab and capture him. With that injury I left on him, he shouldn't have returned to his organization to save his pride. This is the best time to capture him."

"Umm… okay?" Noah, a human in his past life, was definitely not comfortable having a proper conversation with Leo, who looked like a monster. He doesn't know whether Virgo is a monster or not, but at the very least, she looks like a human. Hence, sending Leo away became a priority for Noah.

Leo summoned his divine hammer as he got up with a smirk on his face, taking a glance at Virgo, "You can put your trust in me, Milord. I never failed to accomplish the task you had given me in the past, and I never will in the future."

Leo walked away with heavy steps; each sounded like thunder. The hammer left sparks of electricity as he dragged along; Noah couldn't help but observe him, "An armor made of Elerium and the weapon made of adamantine, just what kind of position I had in this world that even my servants were so powerful and had such equipment that I don't even dare to imagine acquiring it in my past life."

Noah shifted his gaze to the holographic screen floating on the side. There was a 3D illustration of his appearance above and information on the body.

It was the 3D illustration of a teenage-looking boy, with pointy ears, silver hair that is long & wavy, and emerald eyes that have profound wisdom, dressed in elegant black and scarlet robes. His appearance was quite otherworldly.
