It was already ten PM when the court was dismissed. After all the ministers went their respective ways, Xie Fang walked toward his courtyard.
"Your Highness." A voice came from behind. When he glanced back to see the owner of the voice, Xie Fang paused for a moment.
"Lord Regent?" He asked, "Is there something you require?"
"Yes." Li Chang glanced at the attendants standing nearby. "I have an important matter to discuss with Your Highness. Shall we discuss it over tea?"
Xie Fang agreed without hesitation before the servant helped him toward his courtyard. When they arrived there, the attendant poured freshly brewed tea as they took their seats.
Soon after, Xie Fang dismissed the attendants, leaving only him and the Regent in the room.
"Your Highness, you mustn't go to the plague-stricken region." As soon as the servants walked out, Li Chang came to the topic, his expression grave.
The hand holding the tea cup stiffened.
