WORLD BUILDING

CHAPTER S — SPECIAL

Now I'm going to tell you how Haru and his friends ended up in this mission—and who they were before it all began.

In the world of Ninjas, there exists a vast and complex structure.

Sixteen Nations:

- HEIWENG

- GIVNOM

- SIKO

- HIRIGAKURE

- GONLAND

- HIBIRAMA

- GOJO

- HIMIRE

- NOMURA

- CHI-LAND

- SAKI

- KOTOAMSKI

GIVNOM is the largest among them, controlling three nations under its name.

Two other nations, HIJIKATA and GISAN, went extinct due to immigration and famine.

---

HEIWENG, a powerful nation, is home to over 30 ninja villages.

The strongest among them is NIRI — The Village of Water.

Niri has played key roles in the great ninja wars and produced some of the strongest shinobi in the world:

- Jubi Irugen

- Yitori Irugen

- Shoko Xumi

- Giwán Iminaqo

…and more legendary figures.

---

After a devastating civil war in Niri—an event remembered as "The Blood Night", many powerful ninjas were lost, including the village's strongest at the time, Jubi Irugen.

With their forces depleted, the Hekai (the village leader) made a desperate move.

He recruited a special unit: one heir from each clan in the village. This team was created as a secret weapon—used only in disasters like the Blood Night to reduce village losses.

They were called the Death Squad.

A 32-member team.

Haru was among them.

But they were not yet official ninjas. They hadn't taken the selection exams. So they remained Unranked—though stronger than most.

They were only assigned D- and C-rank missions to build morale and keep the village running.

---

The Mission That Changed Everything

It was supposed to be a low-risk D-rank mission—dealing with a few bandits disturbing a small village of non-ninjas.

But when the Death Squad arrived, they were trapped.

The village was empty. The bandits were gone.

They remained stuck inside for three days.

That's when Haru separated from the group to investigate the truth. To find out:

- Where did the villagers go?

- Who were these "bandits," really?

- Why was this mission... off?

Then the truth hit.

These were not bandits.

They were S-rank demons.

And they weren't after the village.

They were after him—Haru.

---

And that's where the real mission begins.
