"Raargh",
yelled the beast as it getting damaged. It realized that he would be a nuisance to battle and began heating up. He continued delivering multiple hits till the temperature became an issue. He jumped off to find a new strategy. The beast stared at him and roared.
"Do you think that would intimidate me?!!"
The roar then began to release some serious heat. Then out if nowhere, magma shot out of its mouth. He quickly dodged but then the beast lifted its head spewing magma. The area then turned into an extremely dangerous terrain. The raining magma was an issue as it kept damaging him. The beast then turned about to whip him with its tail. It was gigantic. He knew he couldn't risk blocking the hit, so using his own core, he charged himself up. Steam being released from his cracks and his whole body began heating up. Instead of a palm strike, he clenches his fist seeing as it would be a more compact attack. The punch broke the creatures tail.
"(I knew this would be a tough battle)",
he thought.
The beast then scream and began to retract its head ,tail and legs into its body.
"Is it going through an evolution?"
The creature mindset changed during their fight and decided a small form would be better.
Hmm. I'll wait, then we can have a proper battle!"
In just a few minutes that mountain became a rock pod. When it opened, the beast came out. Its humanoid body radiating burning heat.It was almost twice as big as the other . It had four arms with five small horns.
"You,... what are you? You look different from me,"
asked the beast.
"What am I? I'm the same as you.But what do I call you?",
he asked.
"Me ? I.... I am... call me Molta."
said the beast.
"Molta,... alright then call me , Riken."
he said.
The moment he ended his sentence Molta attacked him with a two fisted punch. Riken was sent flying into a boulder.
"These small arms work really well."
said Molta as he dashed to Riken delivering waves of punches knocking him Riken deeper into the grounds.
"I now see why you chose this small form".
said Molta as he continued to beat down Riken.
He continued till Rikens body was a pile of rubble. Before he could regenerate,Molta,stomped on his core. With that, Riken, the first evolved,died.
"Now I'm the only one."
said Molta as he let out a massive roar. He decided to continue roaming, fighting any any enemy he found.Not knowing during his fight with Riken, another evolved was there watching. This evolved was a bit different. It wasn't humanoid. It looked like a floating rock with four tentacles, one conical shaped horn on top of his head and one eye.This race couldn't speak, so they spoke telepathically using their horns which were working as sensory organs. This evolved 's horn was more remarkable than the others. It allows it to have a farther range of sensing. This is how he was able to watch their fight . Without being noticed by Molta.
And while the other creatures absorb energy constantly through their body's contact with the asteroid, he could absorb it without touching it. He named himself Kyso.
"That one will be a problem."
he said.
Kyso was more docile and much smarter than the others. He sensed one enemy nearby with a good amount of power. His fighting style was to go after enemies he knew he would win against. This creature was 10 feet tall with six spikes as hands and two spike as legs. Kyso floated to its chest area. Whenever the creature wanted to attack him , it never connected. An invisible force prevented Kyso from getting hit. He just extended one tentacle through its chest destroying its core. He then absorbed it.
"This should help me grow steadily. No need for such tiring fights."
He also continued to roam for weeks avoiding anywhere Molta could be. He continued moving around till he saw two huge creatures fighting. One was spider looking creature with a massive boulder like tail and a long neck. The other was a serpent type with two arms.
"Oh. Judging from the amount of power from them, the winner is going to evolve. I wonder what they will look like.... It'd be good if we could differentiate between us and those savages. Like how Molta named himself. Hmm."
After over ten minutes of fighting,the serpent successfully absorbed the spider type and later shrunk into the rock pod. A few minutes later a feminine humanoid emerged.
"....Hmm. I didn't think I'd evolve into this small form."
She had a feminine body structure with all the curves, no eyes,a tail and three horns.
"Salutations, I am Kyso .You are?"
he asked.
"Kyso?Oh, I see you made a word to refer yourself by. Then I'm...hmm, Bella.", she said.
"Excellent. You're also like me. Those two before were not as bright." said Kyso.
" So there are other evolved?"
she asked.
" I have come across two other Isai but one died."
said Kyso.
" Isai?"
she asked.
"Yes , Isai.I decided to classify our evolved kind under the name Isai. And the others who are not evolved yet are called Ookis."
Kyso explained.
"Quite an interesting name.Well then, Kyso,where-".she was cut short by a deafening scream a few dozen meters away.
"Hm?" What's that ?"
she asked.
" I'll Check...."
using his extreme sensing ability he was able to see what was going on.
"Its Molta . He is fighting against a new Isai. It looked like Riken though , but he is suppose to be dead."
Kyso said.
"Shall we Investigate?"
Bellia asked.
They moved toward the location of the sound and Kyso was surprised . it was, a new Isai. it only had a slight defferentiation from Riken . This one had a one long horn on the left side of his forehead, a less muscular build AMD some other slight differences.To Kyso's surprise the scream was from Molta. one of his arms was destroyed and he was covered with cracks.
"How are you stronger?!! You should be as weak as Riken!!"
yelled Molta.
"Riken,...that's what you yelled when you attacked me. So it is a name.Then don't call me Riken. I'm lumio. "
Molta was filled with rage . He powered up his core to the max and shot out one giant fireball, well, lava ball at Lumio . when it was about to hit, it split in two and Lumio dashed through the halves and punched Molta with an uppercut. All who witnessed couldn't believe what happened. When lumio stood still after the uppercut, Kyso and Bellia saw that his left arm had turned into a blade. He then sliced through the wind,but it created a slash wave which went all the way to cut Molta. He roared in pain once more his core was revealed from the last attack. When he landed he tried to regenerate as fast as he could but he was too tired. Lumio stared at him for a while and told him to leave. Molta was furious that lumio took pity on him but, still ran away though.
"Wow .That was a great fight."
said Bellia.
On instinct,Lumio pointed his blade to her.
"Who are you?
he asked.
"We mean no harm. I'm Bellia and this is Kyso."
she answered.
"We just wanted to meet a fellow Isai."
Kyso said.
"Isai?...Hm. Fine.I'm Lumio."
he said.
"You look so much like Riken."
"Who is this Riken?"
Lumio asked.
"He was the first evolved.The first Isai.He was killed by Molta .It seems the others who have yet to evolve will resemble us."
Kyso explained.
"Also,how did you do that ? That weapon.",
asked Bellia.
"This?...We'll, its a piece of the creature I defeated to evolve."
he answered.
" I didn't absorb him completely and left his blade arm. When I evolved, I touched it and felt some kind of resonance. We're all made of the same organic matter, so with the same control I used to reattach my broken pieces, I absorbed it into my arm.
Now I can bring it out at will.",
Lumio explained.
"Interesting. I do also feel the resonance you speak of . I can merge my entire body into the ground to move faster."
said Bellia.
"It seems there are a lot of things we need to discover. Especially our connection with, all this we see."
said Kyso as he noticed Lumio walking away.
"It will be safer to travel together "
said Kyso.
".....No."
He Instantly dashed away.
