The light scrape of that fingertip along his chin made Damian shiver. He stared blankly after Saphen, only snapping back to his senses when he caught sight of Saphen's back. Only then did he understand why everyone's eyes had been glued to him.
He didn't know who approved this design, but it exposed a large expanse of back, with the fabric at the waist tied loosely as if inviting someone to undo it.
And on top of that, Saphen was wearing jewelry. A gemstone swayed in the hollow of his lower back. Everything else in front of Damian seemed to blur, with only Saphen's spine standing out sharp and vivid.
