Chapter 1 - Prologue

I always have to be very subtle about getting permission from my mother. Having strict parents can make you either a good child or an expert liar, and I think it's usually the latter. Only 10 days left for the tour and I hate being uncertain, so I asked my mother as she was resting on her bed, "We are going on a 3 day tour to Shimla, so where exactly did you put the warm clothes?"

She gave me a look, and ignoring it was a good idea. She was in a light mood today, so I took my chances. She told me about the clothes and that was my cue that I got the permission.

I texted Meera, my bestie who visited India just to see me after 6 years. Her parents are also strict, but she is the former category 'the good child, not the 'expert liar'. So she put her sister on the task. Meera, who is my childhood school bestie, had not met me for 6 years until she just decided to come to India from U.A.E. Her qualities include being an extreme procastinator but having big boobs and hot ass overshadows it. She has a boyfriend who is a narcissist and the only person I ever hated. Just bestie things, I guess. Meera used to be an extrovert in school, and she chose me as her bestie when I was an introvert. Now, since the tables have turned, I've got to take care of her ambivert ass.

AYESHA: I got the permission. Wohooo!

MEERA: Wohoooo and I didn't, not yet.

AYESHA: We will figure something out. Don't worry🙄

Recently, the country's circumstances were not so good. A war broke out, although it ended a week ago, but the parents were still traumatized . Cannot send their girls out there just yet.

Now that I was certain about the permission, I cut that word "permission" from my ' Tour Need List ' on the notes app. Mahi's parents did not agree, nor did Zara Nur's parents. We were 10 people who decided to go on this tour, but only 8 of us got permission.

Mahi is my college friend, the only girl who adopted me in college because I was the odd one out since I just shifted countries. She taught me things about India and people here, so calling her mommy is justified. She takes care of belongings when I forget them in malls and resturants, helps me with numbers, weather its time or money, because I suck at them. Mahi does not have strict parents. They are just too caring since she got kidnapped as a child once. So, they would never let her out of their sight, especially not for three days. Mahi herself has very high morals. She hates men, so much that once when she factured her foot, she blamed it on sitting with men. She also hates me having male friends.

Heer is Mahi's childhood school friend and our university fellow. We stick to each other's asses in the university. It has been 3 and a half years, and this is our last semester. Even after so many fights, we are still together. Studying psychology played a major role in it, I guess. Heer is the social butterly , a ten minute walk with her means greeting five different groups of people. She is loud, fun, and cheery. She is engaged to the sweetest man alive. But he is very reserved in the matter of fulfilling her sexual needs. And mind if I tell you how much the intensity of her needs is.

Asha is Heer's childhood bestie. She is a student of interior designing. Very creative, very smart. I met her in university as well. Sitting with Asha means you have to hide your face many times in public because embarrassing her friends is her love language. She is confident, would not take unwanted opinion even if it's a compliment, and engages in any adventure that she possibly can. She is very possesive about Heer, so much that it seems rather fear of abandonment than possessiveness. Heer adores her the same. They fight once every two weeks and don't talk for three to four days, after which they just laugh at each other. Asha bonds with men rather than women and then flexes about it. She said I was the only female she vibed with after Heer.

Naina is Dehli's famous influencer. She is Heer's college friend. She is famous for dating a number of men, sometimes at the same time. Naina is currently dating two men, both rich, although one is only rich from heart. If you sit with Naina for 2 hours she will be busy with one of her men for an hour and the next hour you will feel like she is high on another type of shit which usually is not made on earth. She is squeeqy, fun and cheery. She is a really good person at heart and secretly fantasizes about kissing a girl.

Zara, aka Zee, is my sister. She is a petite and sexy featured woman. Her deepest darkest desire is to help everyone become a better person. Zee has shitty taste in men. She just has one type , men who look macho, show the world they are machos, but they really are not. She just falls for it. She recently got married to her childhood bestie, and lets just say it didn't really work out for them, although they are still trying. Me and Zee, we fight a lot over the littlest of things. My mother says that I am the reason for ninety percent of the fights, but I beg to differ. Since we have the same parents, I begged Mother that I wanna take her to Shimla with me because she will fly to Australia soon. So she agreed.

Eshita and Ankita are Zee's school friends. I dont know much about them other than the fact that Ankita has been married to man for more than 4 years now. They love each other and would survive any personal or environmental conflict, not because of Ankita but because her husband is an extremely calm man. Ankita is very straightforward due to which she was not allowed in our house until a few years ago. She is a die heart animal lover and also a vegetarian. She owns a cat named Bijju, and according to her, Bijju is her biological son. All I know about Esha is that she is rich and a pick me.

Zara Nur is the first friend Mahi and I made in university. She is a pure soul, very kind-hearted, and a fun person to be with. When she first became our friend, her whole world revolved around her male best friend. The guy cares about her but not enough to commit. Zara Nur's parents are not strict, just protective, which is why she did not get permission for the tour even after we begged her father.

Other than the girls, we had two boys who were going along with us, namely Vijay and Aryan. They are our university fellows, both studying graphic designing. We befriended them on a tour to Lucknow in February. It has just been 4 months, and we are as close as we can be. And yes, by close, I mean physically close. They also have a friend named Amit. He used to come to university, but nowadays, due to health issues, he was not able to join us.

Vijay apparently looks like any girl would swoon over him. He is bronzed to perfection, his physique built and strong. His eyes, though small, sparkle with an undeniable charm, and his smile is disarmingly cute. His flirty heart only fell for our Heer. Since our Lucknow tour, these two have been unseperable. They decided to consensually be in an open relationship. Both understood the fact that this was temporary, but did they? They love to fight each other and later make up for it. Vijay is a tad bit possessive about Heer even talking to other men, which makes zero sense to us, but Heer always justifies herself, proving that she is senselessly in love with him. According to Asha, Vijay is her bestie, but after a few fights and rude behavior of Asha, they don't bond anymore, which lead to a conflict between Vijay, Heer, and Asha. Things have been super complicated.

Aryan is a kind gentleman. Apparently, he is a tall, fair-skinned boy with a lean build. His toned physique is only visible when he flexes. His most attractive features after his deep, long-lashed eyes are his veiny arms that could turn on any twisted girl. To be very honest, there is no purpose for men being this fair-skinned. He smells like wet mud after rain, very musky. How do I know that? Dont ask questions you dont wanna know. His natural body scent is so strong that if he is standing behind me, I would instantly know it's him. Aryan is generally so caring that on our Lucknow tour, at least 3 to 4 girls thought that he liked one of them. He is soft-spoken and a very good listener. His greatest quality is that he keeps the conversation flowing and does not let awkward silence sit in. After our group was made, all of us decided to make random couples, and Asha chose Aryan. Since then, whenever we are together, they sit with each other, often touchy here and there. Since Asha recently started dating a shady man online, she specifically asked Heer to keep reminding her to be loyal on the tour.

A good question would be who my partner was. It's complicated. Automatically, I was left with Amit. At first, I thought it would work out, and Amit is just very religious and shy. His love language is deep talks and not physical touch. But in the absence of Vijay, his behavior with Heer said otherwise. Upon observation, I realized he likes Naina more, so I decided to step back and consensually sat with Aryan a few times in the absence of Asha. In a truth and dare game, once they all locked me and Amit in the washroom for five minutes. It was super awkward. After him giving me a forhead kiss and peck, I ran out of the washroom, and we never talked about it again. Awkward.

Heer decided to ask her parents only four days before the tour so that they do not have time to make excuses. Vijay and Naina depended on Heer, and Aryan depended on Vijay. So we all had to wait to know who exactly was going. We bought a few shirts here and there. I borrowed all my outfits from Mahi since she was not going, and I had zero energy to think. I made Meera buy a pair of boots since she didn't own one and couldn't borrow from me because I am tiny and she is a size 41.
