The story starts,when we see a teenager yelling "yo bro"
To his half brother who was just about to leave the house.
"What?" said the brother looking back "look"! Said the teenager. He was doing this weird pose trying to ragebait his brother, "ugh shut up im heading out to town" said the brother
"For what?" The teenager asked. "To train obviously" the brother slammed the door after saying that. "Stupid good for nothing jerk!" The teenager yelled that before going back to his room to study.

Starforged Empire is where nelien and his brother keylien are from. Nelien is 15, while his brother is 19. Keylien recently took his enethial exam! And passed it,surprisingly well too!
Enethial exams are conducted each year, for graduates. Each person, can unlock there magic abilities after becoming a teenager, but surprisingly nelien hasn't discovered his abilities yet! So back to what I was saying enethical exams are conducted to recruit new members into the sovereign Orders.
Only a handful ever pass, and the once who don't are set to take them next year! Even if you pass there is a chance of not being selected into the Orders. Those who pass and selected are immediately taken under a wing, of seasoned mentors and trainers to control, and expand their abilities and to weaponize and to make them stronger.
Keylien's results caused quite a stir. Not only did he score within the top one percent, but his elemental resonance readings were high, enough to catch the damn attentions of the elders and the top generals! Rumours already started spreading across the starforged Empire that he may actually be the chosen one! He was chosen by the "Varens," a elite group consisting of powerful magic weilders.
Nelien, on the other hand, still struggles. He watches his brother rise with quiet pride-but also a shadow of fear.
Everyone including his brother keeps telling him he'll awaken it "any day now" but the days keep passing and passing.
On the morning of the solstice trials, after his brother left to the main hall of the town a royal courier arrived at their doorstep, dressed in the midnight blue armor of the sovereign Orders.
Nelien, heard the doorbell ring he got up from the sofa went to the doorfront saying
"keylien don't tell me you forgot you're stupid phone"
after nelien opened the door… what he saw a tall figure, standing infront of his doorstep,which sent him twosteps back, nelien saw a man in a full set of midnight shining blue armor, the man introduced himself as a
"Royal Courier "
nelien wasn't paying attention to what the man was saying, he saw the long sword made of a special type of keryotae crystals which had the couriers name carved onto it.
The royal courier said in a frightening deep voice
"I was summoned by elexix" code name for the king of the starforged Empire, the courier was holding a dark red scroll which had neliens name on it,
"you shall now be able to wield magic"
said the royal courier...!
Neliens eye Widened, he started smiling and jumping out of joy.
"Hell yeah" nelien screamed after the Courier, handed over the scroll to him, the Courier instantly vanished, nelien closed the door and went inside. "I can't wait until that jerk comes back from whatever he's doing, I swear if this scroll doesn't give me good abilities" Said nelien.
Nelien,went back to his room and opened the scroll.
"Wow.." he exclaimed, his voice crackling with shock and excitement. "My time has finally came i shall now conquer the world" said, nelien jokingly. The symbols shimmered across the page as if alive, shifting and rearranging themselves the longer he stared. What he saw were atleast seven techniques-and countless ways on which he could enhance his hand to hand combat and other skills..!
Each one looked more impossible than the last. He leaned closer, eyes widening.
"No way... this is insane," he whispered, feeling his pulse quicken. If he could master even one of these, he'd be stronger then half the school. "But wait" he whispered again "what if I master all seven and learn more techniques...?
But the thing is I have never seen these writings our school didn't teach anything about these scribbles or whatever..."
Nelien said.
"I'll just wait until keylien comes back I wanna see the look on that jerks face.." nelien couldn't stop grinning, he was so excited to show his scroll to keylien. After being unsuccessful on trying to read the scroll he sealed it tight and kept it in his drawer and left.
not a while ago his good friend eril texted him saying "I'm coming over to grind fc so help me!"
But he still hasn't showed up so nelien texted him saying
"Where the heck are you..?" Still no reply.
Nelien sighed, thinking to himself, he better not be ditching me again... but behold three seconds later the doorbell rang.
"Well, well, well..." nelien said as he walked towards the door,
Look who finally, decided to show up,
He swung the door open.
"-up.."
Eril stood there, completely out of breath, hair a mess,
Clutching something behind his back like he'd sprinted across the entire street
"Bro... you won't believe what just happened," his friend panted. Nelien raised an eyebrow. "This better be a good one."
"No seriously," he said, leaning against the wall."you're not gonna believe this."
Nelien crossed his arms like a hobo "try me." His friend held up a finger still collecting himself. Then with a dramatic flourish, he revealed what he'd been hiding behind his back.
A small, glowing crystal red in color pulsing softly like a heartbeat. Nelien's smirk instantly dropped.
"Bro.. what is that?"
"I found it on the ground on my way here," his friend said."the moment I picked it up it started doing this weird humming typa thing idk bro" said eril "what do you mean you don't know, and why did you pick that up,ugh it could be dangerous you idiot"
Said nelien, eril gave a smirk.
"Everytime I tried texting you the rock would like you know increase its mass or whatever,making it hard to hold it with one hand,I also dropped it eril said".
Nelien blinked.. "huh so your saying the rock wouldn't let you text me, like it had beef with me or something, Wow so funny enough with your stupid story let's just keep the rock or crystal aside and play FC"
Said nelien.
The rock, started to glow, it had this dark red demonic color..!
Neither nelien or eril noticed the rock glowing bright…
