Drex POV:
As I left the room I decided to take a walk and think about it. I walked around a bit and noticed that the school was oddly big.. like some kind of mini town....
"If I refused, I would be killed if I accepted I would still die but at a later time." I sigh.. "this is rigged. The second option is just delaying the inevitable."
Just then I had a flashback to my middle school days where I was bullied and teased.. words like
"You're useless"
"You're weak"
"You don't deserve life"
Kept playing in my head. But i remembered what the commander told me
"We could use talent like yours"
Tch... People like me don't have talent don't go teasing me since you know I would probably die on my first mission... I barely remember the "power" he was talking about.
I keep waking and reach a rooftop where I sit on the floor and think about my life... Seriously how did it come to this.....
Just then the door flew open as I hear someone walk in sounding pissed about something.
Hayley POV:
"UGHHH!!!
how the hell did someone like that manage to get in here.. this school is for people with potential and talented gifts how did someone who was just a normal kid till barely six hours ago have that kind of quality??!!"
Yes I was pissed... Why? Because some random dude just waltzes in and is already pulling in attention.
That's messed up... Earlier we ran a test after he regained consciousness and the first thing we noticed was that his devil energy was off the charts. He wasn't even recruited.
I was still venting when I reached the rooftop where I went to calm down. Upon reaching there I saw him.. I can't really remember his name but I remember that distinct hairstyle and his hoodie. I froze as he looked at me staring straight into my eyes.
"I heard you y'know" he spoke from the other side
Even so, that wasn't what stunned me.. I froze as I was finally able to take a good look at him... His eyes had an ash coloring to it and the way it dulled was actually kinda hot...
I could feel my face heating up as I came to my senses
"W-what do you mean by that"
"nevermind"
I quickly changed my attitude in case he didn't see my face that time
"Hey you're in my spot what the hell are you doing here"
" well I was just walking and decided to stay here"
He turned to me again
Do you have a problem with that
"Of course I do get the fuck out!!"
" Huh??!"
"You heard me.. this is my spot fuck off!!"
" Tch... Fine"
He stood up to leave and as he was going...
"ending up with you would be hell for me"
"Yeah me too.. I hate your face anyway"
As I said that it suddenly dawned on me that he was actually planning to join the academy..

No POV:
Drex decided to take a walk down the main hall of the school the school was huge he could tell but surprisingly there were very few people present.
'Huh I guess there aren't much people with special abilities after all '
Vaden spoke up "Ahh Drex there you are... I see you are taking in the sights."
He said with a smile
Drex: Uhh yeah I figured I might as well know my way around the place if I'm going to end up here
" I see... Well I might as well help you with that. Come with me"
With that Drex followed the white haired commander to a district with a sign outside saying "5"... Drex didn't understand what was going on but he didn't bother to ask. As they walked a little more Vaden went to meet another male commanias they started to speak on something he couldn't quite hear but he didn't care..
After a while the other commander went out and came back with a female hunter.. Her long brown brown hair that reached her lower back with an oddly curvy figure despite being roughly his age. She wore a jumpsuit with the zipper on the top half stopping just below her chest exposing the black undershirt she wore inside.
Drexd knew the truth.. she was rather beautiful and had a sexy body but that was all.. he knew next to nothing about this girl and he was already tired from standing so long.
The girl walked up to him silently....
"Hiiiii!!!!! Nice to meet you I'm Amy what's your name?
She took his hand as she said this .. the excited look visible in her face. He could tell that she was on of this energetic type and it oddly made him feel at ease"
"Hi I'm Drex nice to meet you too.."
Drex didn't know that this girl was really interested in him already. For starters she just met a guy with the strangest eye color she has ever seen. Not to mention that scar... She had to know more about him
Vaden spoke up "So Drex she will be your tour guide for today. Her job is to show you around the school and keep you out of trouble because you drawed in an awful lot of attention when you came in so be ready to be surrounded by people... You both can get going now the other commanders and I have something to do.."
"Ok commander!!! C'mon Drex let's gooooo!!!!!!"
She moved as she pulled Drex along with her.
They walked around a bit and Drex was slowly learning more and more about the school no one knew how big the school really was except if one was opportuned to enter and according to Amy the only invitation was being recruited by the commanders themselves..
"..... because we can't just allow normal civilians to walk off to their early graves."
" yeah but we can?"
" hahahahahaha it's not like that. Normally, people like that aren't made for facing devils like these.. it would just be a waste of life.."
" and ours isn't??"
With that, Amy burst into another fit of laughter resting on him as she did. Meanwhile Drex unknown to him sarted to blush as this was the first time in a while someone felt so comfortable with him; the first and only being that old classmate of his. After some time Amy stopped and looked very intensely at his face as she noticed that the scar he had on just few moments ago had disappeared. Drex on the other hand took the hint and touched his face as he noticed the same thing but he quickly noticed how hard Amyt was blushing...
Her reason?
Simple... With the scar out of the way, she finally got to get a closer look to his face. Those ash colored orbs.. such bizarre pairs of eyes she has ever seen . Oddly it was attractive on a dramatic scale as it only contributed to that devilishly handsome look on his face; of course Drex didn't notice how attractive he had become in under 12 hours.. he was more drawn to the noise he heard...
"Hey! I'm talking to you"
"Sorry Adam I.. I'll get it for you soon please don't hurt me"
In that direction he could see a group of people surrounding one boy who looked like he was about to shit his pants... Drex quickly remembered how he used to be in his shoes and that changed his mood instantly... Quietly, he stuffed both hands in his pockets and walked over to them to the surprise of Amy.
" Does he have any Idea of what he's doing? That's Adam Chase.... One of top five deadliest special rank hunters in this school.... He's going to get killed"
With this thought in mind she quickly hurried over to Drex as she witness what was about to unfold...
"You let the devil get away. And you lost the knife I lent you. You're pathetic people like you are too weak to be hunters... I honestly don't know why B-ranks are even allowed here. You're all worthless you all don't deserve this life your living y'know why?.. because..."
At that moment Adam felt a strong grip on his shoulder as a voice spoke behind him
"Oi.... What was that?? Now what?? You're going to kill him because he lost some shitty dagger? HUH???"
Adam turned around not because someone was speaking to him, but because he heard a demonic voice and felt an even more demonic aura. He was right.. the moment he turned, he was staring face to face with a pair of yellow eyes looking straight into his soul his skin developing a shade of red and sharp teeth visible from his mouth curving into a smile. Heck, he could even hear his breathing clear as day. But the most important thing he saw was a scar running across the left side of his face all looking so ominous almost like a horror movie
At this point Amy had already caught up with them and withnessed everything as she was in shock on how the careless guy she was with could looked so terrifying she didn't know when she started trembling... She was afraid but she didn't know why. Adam on the other hand noticed the lady and quickly gained composure.
Adam: Who the fuck are you supposed to be?
" Just a guy who gives a shit about bullies *sigh* could you leave him be? He's struggling as you can see so he doesn't need assholes like you to rub salt in his wounds."
The place went dead silent as Drex maintained eye contact, the scar still visible on his face but it seemed he calmed down a bit.
"Grr... Fine!!! I'll let it slide but trust me I'll get back at you for this...
With that he left with his entourage.. he knew that staying there longer was only going to embarrass him and he wasn't going to challenge Drex not since he knew nothing about him and that form he took just now he had to be careful but sure enough, he was going to get back at him for that.
